This review is for the people that take Sephora seriously as well as fellow cast members... This particular store does not carry all make up brands that other Sephoras do and they don't carry all the stuff on their website. (I found this out the hard way.) This was my experience yesterday... I've been saving a $50. Sephora gift card I got for Christmas. I've been saving my money and putting off buying make up that I've been needing (for months) because of a "sale" that Sephora was having for cast members for 2 days only. So, of course there was no parking and the store was crowded. Not only are there regular people in there shopping but there's all the cast members there for the "sale" and way too many Sephora employees clogging the aisles. So, a lady comes up to ask what I'm looking for and I told her Lorac. She thought about it and then said "Sephora doesn't carry Lorac, Ulta (another make up store) does." So, I informed her that the Sephora in Cerritos, CA carries Lorac. That's funny. She works for Sephora and doesn't know Sephora. So, then she asks me what else is on my list. I ask her where the bridesmaids kits were. Again she thinks about it and then asks another employee where it is. She turns around and tells me that they don't carry that. ??? It's on your website. ??? I guess it dawned on her that she wasn't going to be able to help me find anything on my list, she turned around and walked away with no polite apology. I went into that store with a list of things to get and came out empty handed. I guess it's my fault- I held Sephora up to a high standard. What a disappointment. read more

Horrible experience in my opinion no one asked me if I needed help, not till I was walking out the door. Didn't have very much selection of products.Felt like everyone was to busy to help me.The only worker who was nice was the greeter.Parking was a mess had to park super far away and the walk over to downtown disney was not worth the it. read more

Haiku store review, Sephora: Prescient door minders // Astral project your desires // Deep into the store I came here to buy a really specific Mother's Day present with very little information about the product I was looking for. Only equipt with my feeble hints of "three words that start with 'Peter'" and "sunscreen brush", an employee at the door knew exactly what I was looking for, and pointed me in the right direction. When I arrived to the shelf she aimed me towards, there was another employee waiting with the merchandise in question, asking if it was what I was looking for. aisles and aisles of beauty brands and products from wall to wall... this is my go to place for skin care products and make up/acessories.. but they also carry perfume and nail polish/supplies.. very knowledgeable and friendly staff is very helpful and knows the products... if you ever want to try out one of the products, ask for a free sample! This has helped me decide on skin products on many occasions and saved me hundreds of dollars.. read more

Sure, you can find Sephora at lots of mall locations, pretty much anywhere. But you came to Disney for a day of fun, and you could use new lipgloss. And a cute rollerball of some new fragrance. Travel tube of chic sunscreen. Purse hairbrush? Check. As well as a whole checkout-lines-worth of amazing mini sizes of, literally, everything makeup & grooming. And since this Sephora is smack in the center of Downtown Disney, you might think it's going to be a hot mess in there, tainted by the same barely-supervised young uns running roughshod outside. But, no, Pretty Ladies! You are safe here and the gals and dudes of this particular Sephora are keen to your plight. Their store is amazingly well kept, considering the touristy traffic I assume they get through here each day. Samples and testers are cleanly maintained. This was BY far the worst Sephora I have ever went to. Not only did they not have what I was looking for, but the customer service was atrocious. My boyfriend and I decided to go in after leaving Disneyland to do some last minute shopping. While I was looking at the Sephora-branded stuff, my boyfriend, bored out of his mind, started testing out the cologne. He then went over to me and asked if I liked the way he smelled. A few seconds later, one of the associates (with short reddish hair) gave us a weird and suspicious look. Annoyed, we walked away and started to look for what I originally came in for. Immediately, the associate walked over to where my boyfriend was and was checking to see if he stole anything. She then said to another associate, "There's nothing taken, but there's some TRASH left. I WONDER how it got there.." Ridiculous. Everwhere I went, the associates would follow. They were not even discreet. This made my visit very uncomfortable, in which I could not find my product in peace. My boyfriend was getting extremely annoyed. We could not handle the constant stares. I finally found the Philosophy section and was disappointed. They did not have what I wanted. A few minutes later, my boyfriend overheard one of the associates call in the security for a "security scan." Since they did not have what I was looking for, I decided to go back to the Sephora-branded products. On the other side was a blonde associate "looking" through makeup. I walked over to the check out to test out the impulse buys, and noticed all the associates eyeing me and wondering if I was ready or not. I'm sorry, but do I look like I'm ready? I felt like I was being rushed. I was finally ready to check out and then the lady was being subtly rude to me. Asking weird questions. I finally left with utter disappointment. I'm not one to steal, and neither is my boyfriend. Especially at a store where I buy all my makeup from. I appreciate you guys for doing your job, but you've got the wrong people. read more

Employees here are super friendly. Even on Christmas Eve, I got a ton of help. I was given samples of a couple products and bought just the right gift for a friend. What's great too is Sephora's return policy-- try it, you don't like it? Come back, and get store credit for the whole thing. It's awesome to invest $50 and just keep trying until you get it right. I'm not a big makeup fan, but this is the place to come for fragrances and Philosophy merchandise. Love it! I prefer to come here rather than go to South Coast Plaza, where I feel the employees aren't as friendly or helpful. read more

Best location by far they totally helped me out and they went above and beyond. They gave me history on a brand and great product knowledge. They also didn't have the product I was looking for so they gave me options and details on ordering and they even have me a sample of the items so I could try them while I got my items delivered. I was amazed at how well organized this place was for the amount of traffic there was in the store, and the store itself was huge. I worked retail all through college, and I know what a pack of wild shoppers can do to a display. This shop was well stocked, and there were tons of employees wandering about helping people. A totally friendly girl who couldn't have been older than 20 helped me pick out some new mascara, and I am very satisfied with it (Fresh "Supernova" if you are curious). All of the employees I ran into were super nice and ready to be of assistance. I really enjoyed my visit to this Sephora (for the most part. Keep reading to find out...). My friend is a cast member at the Disneyland Resort, so I was able to get the Friends & Family 20% discount with her yesterday! It was great and I totally went crazy with my makeup purchases. This particular location is really good with keeping things in stock. They are also good with stocking up the tester applicators and emptying out the trash. It's also very clean. Most of the testers were still in good/clean condition so I wasn't disgusted trying things out. The location is so convenient. Especially when I'm visiting the park because I sometimes stop in to freshen up my look after a day in the hot sun. My one problem with this location is that the sales people/makeup artists are a little pushy with selling their products. I had a great experience with the Bare Escentuals lady because she was honest and didn't "push" products on me. I felt that she was genuine and wanted to show me products that worked for me. However, my sister got bombarded by sales people from the Benefit and Urban Decay counter. Even though she started to walk away or say she wasn't interested, they were pushy and wanted her to try their products. And then they proceed to CAKE ON the makeup. It was sad. I like the browse through the makeup and be able to ask questions and try producgts at my will. I don't want people pushing their products on me and purposely sabotaging other products to get their own products sold (the Urban Decay people literally looked in my sister's basket and told her the Bare Escentuals wasn't good and pulled her over to their counter to CAKE ON their own mineral makeup onto her face). I would've given this place 5 stars if their salespeople weren't as pushy as they were. read more

Love this Sephora! I have closer locations to me but yet I come here b/c of the great customer service. There are always plenty of associates walking around asking if you need anything. I know at some places this can get annoying, but with so many different types of products it really helps to ask their opinion on what to use when you have questions. The last time I came in for a couple of specific items and ended up walking out with better products that I didn't even know about! I asked for help and had all of my questions answered! This location is absolutely fantastic, I recently renewed my VIB status and came in for help with contouring on my way into Disneyland last Sunday (seriously I had no idea where to start with this process). I met Kris and she was available to assist me with a mini contouring makeover immediately. She was extremely helpful and really made it easy for me to understand the basics of contouring and how to use the NARS palette I was interested in purchasing. I really appreciated her taking the time to sit with me and explain every step, she was so friendly and knowledgeable! She even recommended and applied a Too Faced bronzer that I really liked (I am really scared of misusing bronzers so this was a big deal for me!). Monica helped me with my checkout and was extremely friendly and professional and gave me some samples that I ended up really liking! Overall the employees at this store seem extremely professional, and happy to help their guests. I think I will make this my default Sephora store as I am moving to Anaheim from Huntington Beach and won't be able to go to the South Coast locations anymore. Thank you Kris and Monica! read more

I recently went to Sephora looking to purchase a new foundation. As I was walking I noticed that there were only 3 girls on the floor and two cashiers. I was walking around to see if anyone can help me but the girls on the floor were talking on their head sets "re stocking" there were a lot of people and non of them were going around if anyone needs help they looked like they were trying to avoid customers. I asked a girl for help and she told me to wait a minute and I did wait she said she was with someone but she wasn't she went back to re stock once again and then went to the back and then disappeared. I went over to another girl and she walked a little faster to avoid me at that point I was over it I will not be going in to that Sephora anymore how do you expect to make sales if you cant offer any help or at least acknowledge any of your customers! The manager or who ever is in charge should already know that on Fridays it is busier then other days maybe they should hire more employees with better customer service instead of paying girls that do nothing but re stock items. read more

I always walk by on my way into Disneyland and occasionally I'll stop in for a glance around, but this time I came armed with a list of products to try before making an online purchase. I was lucky to get Natalie as my Sales Associate and she was amazing! I'm clueless when it comes to makeup and she was completely understanding and helpful. I even said I didn't plan on buying anything in the store since I wanted to buy online (more credit card points that way), and she said "that's great!" and got right down to work helping me find the products that were right for me. I asked about two brands I had found online, and Natalie explained the pros/cons of each product, asked if I was tied to either brand, then got down to work to help me find the brands and products that would work for me without breaking the bank, how to apply the products I was interested in and, at my request, the brushes that would best help me with the application. I stopped by with a friend to look at perfume and ended up until stqying an hour after closing time and didn't even spend a dime! I asked a SA, Bryma, for help on putting together a look. He was brilliant and you could tell he had a passion for makeup and he really knew what he was doing. He introduced me to some great new products with out pressuring me to buy like most stores do. He gave me a ton of samples to try out before I buy. I can't wait to go back! read more

Even though this location gets jammed packed with people, the staff still manage to have great customer service. I've been to several Sephora's and this is my favorite location. It's the one closest to me and the one that has more to do around it. I came in with my best friend whom was having issues with a false corner lash that would not come off and I asked the girl at the register how to get it off, she was sweet enough to give my friend a sample of the removal stuff instead of making her pay for the entire bottle for one lash. Super sweet girls. Always have a smile on even when it's a day after Christmas. Keep up the great work Sephora. The price range is a little pricey but the product is worth every penny. read more

I always go here but this time it was a different experience thanks to Angeles! Out of all the other Sephoras that I have been through she is the nicest staff I have ever came across and she was very patient with me! I had a hard time finding my skin tone and what works best with my sensitive skin. I was interested in the Milk Makeup products and she told me to give it a try because I was afraid of getting an allergic reaction. So basically she sat me down and gave me a mini makeover. I was really satisfied with the results and ended up buying 4/5 of the products that she used on me. I am really glad I know what products I can use for my skin now. They helped me pick out some products for my oily combo skin and recommended me some of the best makeup products for me. This location has to give better customer service. They are nice once you're purchasing/checking out and all. But once you ask for another thing or more help trying to get an item. Or switch something out. They kinda give you a hard time about it. Still waiting on a refund for a product that caused allergy to my eye lid. I purchased a Clarisonic face brush back on October 2015 from Sephora. I loved the brush but it started to malfunction on me. I saved the receipt and brought it back on to Sephora. They were able to replace the entire unit without any questions. Excellent customer in my opinion! I didn't need to send it in to the manufacturer and wait weeks for a replacement. This review is for Jay and the makeup she did for my daughter, Allie. We were going to Mickey's Halloween party and set up a makeup appointment. When we walked in a few minutes early, Jay was all set and ready to roll. She used the coolest instrument to color match my daughter's foundation. It was spot on. Could not even tell, the shade was that perfect. My daughter was going as princess jasmine and the result was amazing! I've never seen my girl look so beautiful! Customer service here is top-notch. I'm a Disneyland cast member so this is the Sephora I frequent the most. There's a tall lady who usually is at the cash register everytime I come by to make a purchase or sometimes return/refund items. She always has a big smile and great energy! And the other sales associates wandering the aisles do a good job, too. There's one gentleman who's been working here for a while, normally in the aisles, and he's very helpful and kind. Products are stocked pretty well. Disney Sephora never disappoints! So much better than the Brea Mall Sephora I used to go to most often. read more
