Noticed after the appointment the nails smelled a bit odd a very funky smell. I cannot describe the smell but it went away after a day or 2 . I read online maybe the prep wasn't correctly done and I believe that to be the case . Paid $65 and gave a good tip because I liked how gentle he was but I noticed the prep wasn't best but I let him do his thing . Very gentle and polite and when he was done I really liked them even though there was some issues with my nails during the appointment that I had to point out or else he would've left them with black speckles and the white polish was left square in some areas and I had to remind him to round it out like the others . He was very patient with me but honestly if I did not point out the issues he would've left it as is . My mother got a gel manicure and pedicure and they came out great ! She was very satisfied and still after a week is still satisfied with the work ! Different experiences but we both had a good time and the staff are very nice just wish the outcome of my nails were different! Would go in again maybe for the manicure but no more acrylic for me . I'm giving 3 stars because our experience with the staff was great and my mom had a good experience with her nails but I sadly did not .

During my most recent visit, I specifically requested a particular nail technician to perform my service. Instead of honoring my request or explaining why that technician was unavailable, the manager insisted that another employee do my nails. As a paying customer, I believe I should be able to request the technician I feel most comfortable with, especially when making an appointment or arriving with that expectation. If a requested technician is unavailable, staff should clearly communicate that information in advance whenever possible and offer customers the option to reschedule or choose another technician. The manager's attitude came across as unprofessional and dismissive, which made me feel like my preferences and concerns did not matter. Good customer service involves listening to customers, communicating respectfully, and making reasonable efforts to accommodate requests. Management could improve the customer experience by training staff to explain scheduling decisions politely, acknowledge customer concerns, and provide clear alternatives when requests cannot be met. Because this was my second negative experience at this salon, I do not plan to return. I hope management takes customer feedback seriously and works on improving communication and customer service.
