This past Sunday afternoon I went to this location, I was greeted by a lady by the door, but throughout the store it seems like the employees much rather engage in conversation with each other rather than the customers. Upon checking out, as im 2nd in line I notice both cashiers are VERY dry, and lack customers service, no hello, no thank you, no smile. Once it was my turn to pay the cashier just asked for me to input my phone number and that was the only thing she said to me, no eye contact, no nothing. This is a new location and the employees really need to do better in the customer service department. This location is very close and convenient to me, but I'd rather make a drive a bit farther to a different Sephora for a more welcoming, over all better experience. Zero stars for the cashier, Isabel Isabel was the most unhelpful person. If she can't help customers, she shouldn't work for customer service. She had an attitude and was impatient. She was insulting. I did notice she wasn't just rude towards me but with other customers. I wanted to redeem my points, and she told me she didn't have any products to give but had told a previous customer that the only product she didn't have available was the Dior fragrance. I agree with other users this location judges you by your appearance. Take your money elsewhere. read more

I only come to this location when I'm charging my car but it is the absolute worst Sephora I've ever been to. Last week I asked about the savings event and was confidently told they wouldn't be having one until December. If you don't know, please ask instead of providing inaccurate information (the sale started yesterday). Today was probably my 4th time here and Rachel, the cashier, had the worst attitude. I asked about jumbo Glow Screen. She waved at the display and said they didn't have it. I checked. They did. She's at a register and could've looked it up but she acted like the one person in her line was just too much work for her. Never smoked. Handed me my receipt and waved me off. I know sometimes customers can be difficult but this wasn't the case. Her rudeness was unwarranted. I'm not sure if there's a lack of oversight with this store or why they're performing so poorly in the customer service department but please retrain the staff here. First off thank GOODNESS there's a Sephora so much closer to me now!! Having to drive to Glendale or Studio City was a pain (worth it but still!). Anyway I LOVE this store. Every associate has been extremely helpful and kind. I love that they all know the perfect balance of being helpful without hovering. Worst Sephora I've ever experienced. Non existent customer service. Makeup testers were missing and/or filthy with gobs of makeup smeared all over the item. Didn't even want to touch most of it. Extremely minimal mirrors or areas to try on products and I feel this is done purposely. Overheard the staff telling another woman they could not provide her with a sample of a $50 foundation. Low stock on products and many sold out. Only thing good about this Sephora is it's convenient location but after what I witnessed and experienced I'll try to avoid ever going back. You're better off at Ulta, Target or Walmart nearby. read more

I usually feel semi skeptical when walking into a beauty store as if the sales people are pushing a product. Usually, I go to the Glendale location but it is temporary closed. I was looking at gifts for family members and asked for help in the perfume section, and asked to wait for a moment which was totally fine. I waited 10 minutes, patiently, and no one came. So I asked an associated to help me grab a perfume and she checked but said they didn't have in stock even though I saw it in the drawer that they did have it. She seemed so annoyed to help me. Afterward, she stated she needed to go to the register and help. I told her it is okay if you find the other perfume for me after, she said someone would help me. I waited patiently, which was fine but afterwards she saw how I was looking around for someone to help me, and she raised her tone and said, "this person will grab the perfume for you, ". As if I was annoyed, which I wasn't. I understand how to work in a fast paced environment and how busy it can get but it is truly unacceptable to be rude to someone when they are asking for help. I want to give a shoutout to the associate who helped me check out. They were friendly and purchase when smoothly. read more

I recently started shopping here for Instacart orders and I was a little hesitant to accept these orders since I have limited knowledge about the products, but first Sabrina was there and she was able to help me through every part of my shopping process by showing me where everything was for the 2 orders I was responsible for, and these were totaling well over $300! I thought I was going to be in the store for well over an hour searching on my own for the selection of products, but thanks to Sabrina and her knowledge I got all I needed in a quarter of the time an average shopper would have taken! I really appreciated her being able to charge me from her hand electronic device rather than requiring me to wait in the regular line. Today I had another order for 1 item and same situation, a very nice employee again made sure I was 100% taken care of for my all shopping needs there! She had to go into the back inventory to ensure my product was available and I really appreciated that! After the positive experiences I would like to do my part of saying thanks for going above and beyond at this Sephora Burbank location! read more

I stopped in just when the opened this morning and trash cans were overflowing, and a shocking amount of hair and random debris littered the floors. I came here a few days ago on my birthday and purchased some stuff and while checking out I asked the girl at the register about my birthday gift to redeem (which in my decades of shopping at Sephora I've never had to do, they always bring it up to you). She flatly said their location had none of the birthday gift items but she could add the 250 point bonus to my account instead, which I said yes to. Well the girl never did add the points to my account. So I had to call the store, which I did, multiple times to be connected to a lead and no one ever answered the phone and there was some weird generic voicemail. So I had to contact customer support online to ask to have the points added to which I was literally told in order to get the points I could place another order in the online store!! I reiterated that I just made a purchase and the girl said she would add the points and didn't.. why should I have to buy another thing..?! And I was told verbatim "contact us when you're ready to place an order." There's so many layers of incompetence here I can not in good faith ever give another dollar to this company. I was already shying away from shopping at Sephora due to it being so widely known now about the thousands of fake product reviews but this sealed the deal. Luckily there's an Ulta 5 feet from this Sephora that doesn't treat their customers like garbage. I'll be shopping there instead. read more

DO NOT PURCHASE ITEMS FOR PICK UP IN BURBANK LOCATION ONLINE!!!!!!! Purchased an item online to be picked up at this burbank location cause it said it was available in stock, drove over an hour to pick up item and item was not available even after it was payed for. They either don't update items that are available in their stock or they intentionally don't update their stock to force you to drive to them and purchase items. When I asked the employee why does it allow me to purchase the item if you don't have it available she said someone probably stole it and that's why there records aren't updated, ok sure?!?!! read more

the girls that work here seriously need a reality check. most of them are complete b*tches who have the biggest attitudes even when you're being nice to them. i wish i had saved my receipt so i had the name of the girl who helped me, but she had the nastiest attitude and acted like i was inconveniencing her by being there, no smile or eye contact or nothing. i did a return the other day with her for a product i repurchased in a different shade and i didn't notice til i got home that the associate refunded the wrong item, so i got back less than what i paid for the one i actually returned. the one that was refunded was the product i still have and used my discount on. she didn't even bother to check with me that it was the right product she was refunding. i don't live close to this location so i have tried calling multiple times but no one here ever answers the phones. i recommend going to any other sephora if you can. this is the trashiest location i've ever been too with the nastiest and rudest employees read more
