It did take awhile but I have long hair. My stylist was super knowledgeable and helped me make an informed decision on going with the color I originally wanted vs her suggestion based on my concerns of wanting to keep my hair healthy. She cut my hair exactly the way I wanted. Will come back.

On the day of my appointment, the stylist called and asked me to come in early because she had double booked herself. I agreed and showed up early, only to be handed off to a completely different person who tried to pass herself off as the stylist I originally booked with. That alone felt dishonest and unprofessional. The second time, I booked the same service with a different stylist, thinking it was a one-off issue. Once again, I received a call saying she was double booked and needed to reschedule. Both times, I was told it was because they had hair appointments that took priority. So I have to ask--are eyebrow services not worth their time or money? Because that's exactly how this made me feel. This has now happened twice, and I'm furious. Salon services should not be treated as disposable or less important, especially when customers plan ahead and adjust their schedules to accommodate the staff. I will never come here again for any salon service. And if this weren't the only Ulta in town, I wouldn't come here at all. Do not book salon appointments here unless you're okay with being canceled on last minute. This location clearly prioritizes money over basic respect for customers.

Back in December, I accidentally left my wallet on counter while picking up an on-line order and according to surveillance cameras, they say I didn't, but I know I did. Either their employee took it or the lady behind me did. Of course, since it had a little over $150 and a Dooney & Burke wallet, of course, they didn't want to return it. Honestly, I didn't care about the cards, stamps or money, I just wanted my DL. if it was their worker, I am not one to sue anyone and if it was the lady behind me that they choose to protect such negligence. Shame on them! Warning to all shoppers, don't trust the staff, they have no integrity for their consumers.

Hemet Valley Mall is a reminder of how city officials have failed the citizens of this town and refuse to bring in and support new businesses. The city said they would put a second story, never happened. They also said they'd build a new iteration of this mall a couple miles away, never happened. Here we are years later and nothing has improved nor happened. It's a damn shame that this mall was remodeled as some of the last surviving businesses NEED support but the city is not given these hard workers the time of day. The main businesses that are popping are Hobby Lobby, Magic Brow, Hot Topic, and JCPenney, that's it. Yes, not even Claire's is bringing people in. Years ago, when people still had hope in expanding or getting a "new mall" this mall was pretty busy... not anymore. It's depressing coming in here and the fact that malls are on their way out in certain parts of America, doesn't help this awful situation. I will never totally hate on this mall as I've had good times during community college here and it's super clean. The restrooms here are a lifesaver! If you're in Hemet I will not discourage coming as there's businesses to be supported. However, I want to be honest with you about the current climate of this mall. Oh and you can find good deals every so often!

While I was in the HAIR section of the store, a worker didn't ask me if I needed help, but gave me a measured look and IMMEDIATELY asked if I use a vitamin C serum. I told her I did not. She replied "you really should, it will help with your skin texture. You had acne, right?" I was so insulted! How rude! I did have acne when I was younger. I was self conscious about it for years, and I have gone to great lengths to get my skin to where it is today. Yes, my skin texture still shows my acne scarring, but I wouldn't consider it a major concern for me anymore. I actually really liked how my skin looked yesterday!!! She said "it's 15% off today, do you want me to show you?" I said no and walked away. I felt horrible about myself after this exchange. Please let customers tell you what they want help with. Please don't look at someone and assume!
