Worst customer service!! We called because we were told from two other sephoras we went to that the item we were looking for was in stock at their store. We call and ask if they can check for us, the lady puts us on hold and then returns to tell us that her manager MELINDA said they are to busy and we can look ourselves online and just order it and pick it up. In disbelief we repeat what she said and yes in fact her manger said that! We tell her how that's not great customer service of her or the manager and she agrees that it's not and that it's wrong of her manager to say that but does nothing to help. I can't believe that we been a loyal customer to Sephora for many years and these employees act like it's a hard to find the item for you! Isn't that your job ? Very disappointing honestly !! This Sephora and the one on tropical seem to have an issue with customer service bc they are the worst ones I've ever been to! They need better training considering it's not a cheap drug store people go and spend a good penny!! Pros: Staff was friendly and greeted me quickly. Everyone wore masks and overall friendly. Cons: Forced to have help from a "professional" and the makeup professional doesn't listen to the customer. I went in to buy foundation because I forgot mine at home. I was NOT wearing any foundation. I typically don't like help because I've had my fair share of being mistreated by makeup "pros." I wear Beauty Bakerie foundation range from 331N to 339N. The associate introduced me to one makeup line that didn't work since it had tea tree oil (which makes me breakout) I HIGHLY appreciate that he went over the ingredients. Searching for a second brand, I suggested Huda Beauty because I heard great reviews about it. The associate made it known that he does not wear foundation. No big deal. I tell him that I typically wear light medium-medium foundations in neutral. I'm Asian, Laotian to be exact. I am yellow and brown tan. Warm foundations are too orange for me and cool tones are a bit too gray/pale. The associate looks at the Huda Beauty shades and say "there is NOOO way you are anywhere near medium." My gut feeling told me not to listen but I'm not a trained makeup artist. He could be right. I purchased the shade "Panna Cotta" which he referred to as "Pina Colada." I get back to my hotel, try it on, and HATED IT. It was so white. Call me the Grudge. Even bronzer and contour could not fix how white the shade was on me. I went back the same day and exchanged it for the shade "Toasted Coconut" which is a neutral tone. SO MUCH BETTER. It was doable to go out the rest of the night. I could have gone another neutral shade up. I don't blame the associate entirely because without foundation, my skin discoloration makes me look light. Stick to what you know! I was compelled to write a review today because of the outstanding customer service I received this evening from Christian. He helped put me on some new products that I'm sure I'm going to be OBSESSED with. He was very knowledgeable about products that would work with my skin type and got me super excited about new make up that just dropped. She helped me understand a little better about undertones and what colors look best with my undertone. She also took me out of my comfort zone when it comes to lip products and actually got me to buy something other than nude, i am so happy she showed me those pretty colors from Dior. Let me just start by saying the majority of the products in my bathroom are from Sephora! ROUGE status, that should speak for itself. I can go to any location, but I often choose this one due to the hours it is open. I tend to want to go shopping in the evening and this location is open til 11pm or midnight. Like all (at least the ones I've been to) this Sephora was clean, well lit and full of friendly employees. In fact, so friendly, one of the girls helped my friend treat a makeup stain on her shirt. I'm not sure if that's a common thing employees would assist with, but I felt like she went above and beyond to do so. My favorite thing about Sephora is the Sephora brand lip stains. There's new shades (40+!!!!) and these bad boys are matte, long wearing and one of the more inexpensive options at Sephora. For $14.00 USD, you can find at least one shade you'll love. I LOVE KEVIN. Kevin is the only employee there who is actually dedicated to his job and a genuinely warm, kind human being. Not only is his makeup indescribably stunning but he's so sweet. He was the only one there who actually greeted me with a big smile and went above and beyond to help me out. He really went out of his way to cheer me up after a shitty day and gave me the most uplifting pep talk. Thank you so, so, so much Kevin. He's also extremely knowledgeable about the products they carry and took his time answering all my questions. This man can sell ice to an Eskimo because everything he recommended, I purchased. (I also adore the products I bought!) Everyone else sucks. They're impatient and don't actually help you out. The only time they pay you a speck of attention is when they're following you around the store to make sure you aren't stealing. Security especially makes it uncomfortable to browse and try on products. They make me feel like a wanted criminal with warrants every time I come in, instead of welcome. (Mind you, I've been shopping at Sephora since I was 14 and have thousands of points racked up... I have zero interest in pocketing anything lmao). Kevin is the only reason I still shop at this particular location. And I only buy the products he recommends because he actually knows what he's talking about and makes me feel invited and welcome into the store. Seriously - his energy is EVERYTHING. He just has the most uplifting, radiant vibe that the other employees should learn from. And to those who poke fun at Kevin for being a man who wears makeup, bitch you literally wish you could slay your face like him. I have to admit, I don't do much shopping here because I don't wear too much make up and the make up I do purchase is usually bought online from Saks. I use the same old product each time so it's easy to purchase what I need and when I need it. I've been running low on my tinted moisturizer and I was very pleased to find out that this store actually carries the Laura Mercier make up line that I use. I'm not sure if it's typical for them so this is how out of the loop I am. LoL I've also been looking for a foundation with a little more coverage so sought out help by one of the associates. I'm pretty lame when it comes to make up so was a little worried when a gentleman came to my aid. But, he ended up being great and helped me select a foundation that matched perfectly. I picked up both products and put the foundation to use later that night. The foundation was a little heavier than I'm used to but it provided great coverage and didn't make me look too made up. I'll probably use this for going out and not every day wear but something I'll definitely use. The service was so great here that I might do more shopping at Sephora's in the future. read more

I may not spend the money to wear YSL, Givenchy, Armani and Chanel off of the runway, but I will certainly spend to wear them on my face. As expected there were no weekend makeup appointments available to be scheduled the day before (it's the Vegas strip). But when I called back the day-of, my friends and I were scheduled with reps from YSL, NARS and Cover FX. Between the 3 of us we probably spent $400 on products which means we were thrilled. I had the best makeup of my life done (I wear YSL foundation which I bought in a new shade, and discovered their amazing brow pencil). Delphine wears NARS so that was a perfect fit for her as well. And Amanda was so happy to be able to get her makeup done professionally. Our photos of the night turned out incredibly and we love our new purchases. Thank you to this busy store for taking the energy and time to schedule us appointments with reps when we wouldn't have normally been able to get in. You really made a difference to us on our trip. I was in town for my birthday. Booked an appointment at 545pm on a Saturday afternoon for a custom makeover. I know makeup, I am the girl that wears makeup everyday and loves it so I was nervous that the artist might not do it as good as I was hoping. Plus I am Asian and not everyone knows how to do good makeup esp the eyes on Asian girls. I arrived 10 mins late and they were so busy with custom makeovers but the manager was so nice and accommodating, she got me over to the artist within 2 minutes. I had Cecilia. She was very sweet, asked me what look I was trying to go for and made notes of what products I wanted to try so she can incorporate them in the makeover. She really took her time, she spent over an hour and a half on me and the end product was amazing. I also brought my own lashes and she was totally ok with that. At first I was taken back by the look (smokey eyes and bold lips, Hollywood glam) and thought it was too much. Cecilia reassured me and so did my girlfriend to keep it for at least dinner and change the lipstick color if I didn't feel the combo. Boy I am glad I did. Everyone complimented me on my makeup and the pictures turned out amazing. Thank you Cecilia for making me feel so glam and beautiful on my birthday. My friend who was waiting around wanted to have her makeup done as well but did not have an appointment. Cecilia went out of her way to get someone to do my friend's makeup. Although I didn't end up purchasing anything at this particular Sephora (I adore the online coupon codes and samples!) I am still reviewing it because I did take a friend who ended up buying a lot of items, blowing her budget out of the water but adding many points to my Sephora Beauty Insider card. (Thanks, girl!) This Sephora usually has some problems because it is usually very busy as it is located right next to the Strip entrance of the Miracle Mile shops. We came in around 8 PM on a Sunday and it was moderately busy, but not claustraphobically so. We ended up getting to peruse by ourselves for awhile, but were asked a couple times if we needed help. One associate helped my friend with some mascara. I have to say that these women are very knowledgeable about their products which makes this shopping experience very relaxing compared to a lot of other cosmetic stores that shove everything in your face, demanding that you have a make-over RIGHT NOW. The one thing I really like is that the store is brightly lit, there are a plethora of testers available for almost every product, and checkout is usually very quick without hassle, even with a long line. And I love that at the checkout section they have smaller versions of a lot of the big selling products, so trying one or two things won't kill you or your wallet. Overall I am a huge Sephora supporter, and this store was very nicely laid out and the associates were friendly but not overly-so. My college roommate and I have a DEEP love for Sephora and all things Sephora. So when we were in Las Vegas we dragged my husband and our other friend (or more like we ran and they followed) into this Sephora. It's right on the strip and near tons of the nice hotels/casinos. It's huge and bright which makes shopping even better. Prices and products are similar to other stores but I feel it was even larger because it was Vegas. This is one of the best Sephora locations I've ever been to. I was in Vegas for the first time to see the Backstreet Boys, and my friends and I all wanted to be pampered and feel pretty, so we made makeup appointments at this Sephora. If you want to do the same, make sure you make your appointment in advance as this location fills up quickly! My appointment was with Brittany and she was AMAZING. She was so friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about her craft. She started out by asking what my plans were and what I was wearing that night. I showed her a few ideas of what I had in mind - I was looking for a dramatic, smokey eye, with glitter and she DELIVERED! She also found the perfect Lilly lashes - the Mykonos. I got so many compliments all night. We are considering going back to Vegas in April during my spring break and I want to know if I can request Brittany again for my next appointment! Great service, numerous products and fair prices. I dropped by right before closing and was elated that the staff was kind enough to help me find the correct color of concealer for my skin. The gal who helped me took her time and applied it correctly while no one else seemed to be in any rush either. I just want to review this from a perspective of someone who has done freelance makeup. Nothing irritates me more to go places where people dont know what the hell they are selling. It's a fairly big store with so many brands to remember, yes, but have at least some basic knowledge and recommendations. I can certainly help myself knowing what I know about makeup, but definitely kudos that they can answer my questions. I've been out of he industry for a while and they can tell me about whats new/next in the industry and talk "shop" basically since many knew I did makeup. Theres a lot of foot traffic but they make sure to greet everyone and everyone is all pretty friendly. Was glad I worked in the PH so this was my location. Came to this location thinking that all Sephora's have the same great customer service. I couldn't be more wrong. I came here one morning on a weekday shortly after it opened. I was looking for an eyebrow product to replace the Bare Escentials product they no longer carry. As I walked into the store, I noticed everyone was huddled in groups of 2-3 talking to each other and not welcoming anyone that walked into the store. Usually after the first 15 steps into a Sephora they ask you if you need any help. Most of the time I say no, but I actually needed help this time. I was completely ignored. After walking around the entire store by myself, I managed to find some product. As I continued to walk around (and this isn't a very big store) I was looking for someone dressed like they worked at the store who could help me. But I felt like every corner I turned in the direction of a staff member, they turned the other way and walked away. WTF?! I finally managed to corner some girl to ask her for her opinion of the product I picked. She gave me a curt reply, walked me over to the section of the most popular product. As she walked away, I noticed that they were out of the shade I needed. i called her back over to ask if they had more. She checked the drawer beneath and they were out. The girl proceeded to go in the back to check (wow! finally some real help!) but came back empty handed SEVERAL minutes later. I could have totally walked out with the original product I picked but I refuse to give this store my business. Maybe i came at an off day, but there are 2 other Sephora's on the strip. The lady, who was very knowledgeable, walking me around to different lip colors in slightly different textures while testing each one on the back of her hand. Best personalized service I've received to date from Sephora. Bottom line if you don't want to read thru: Dennis is the man to see for all of your fragrance needs. You all know how trying buying a new fragrance can be - right up there with trying to find a new bra. Things never smell the same when you spray them in the air vs. on your arm vs. when you get home vs. mixing with lotion vs. when it's an important night etc etc. And with the prices of many potions easily exceeding $100 for any size that will allow you to use the perfume on occasions other than "special," you have to be sure you get the right one! Dennis found me struggling to find clear space on my wrist, top of hand and forearm and pacing between two selections and saved me. His knowledge of scents and what to suggest were perfect and he introduced me to an entirely different palette of smells as well. The care he took to explain how the perfumes were crafted as well as the patience in hearing me out was truly first class. He made samples and took the time to write everything out too. Now, once I make the decision from those samples... We'll hopefully have a winner. read more

If you want to look and feel beautiful, this is the place to go! Myself and my 2 girlfriends were spending a week in Vegas an decided to go here to get a makeover for a night on the town! We were greeted and pampered the WHOLE TIME we were there. They started us with a complimentary mini facial which was amazing! A special shoutout the Kayla who did my fabulous makeup!! She took into account the look I was going for and made it 100 times better than what I was expecting. Also, I ended up sleeping in my makeup and wearing it the full next day into the evening and it looked the same as it did when I first got it done!!!!. Surprisingly it wasn't as packed as I thought it would be being that it was black Friday. This store is a bit smaller than the one I'm used to in Sacramento's Arden Mall. No one helped me in particular but it didn't really matter since I knew exactly what I was looking for. The store was well stocked and was pretty clean, and checking out was fast. Sephora is expensive, yes, but great makeup is worth spending for -- facial skin is super sensitive! This particular store is a little smaller than most Sephora stores, but that only means that they are usually stocked with most of the most popular and best selling items on the floor!
