Purchased a serum that came in a glass bottle upon opening the box it shattered in my hands cutting my hands up so bad there was blood all over my bathroom. All they could do for me was "refund me ". I still have an open case but haven't heard anything from their legal team and when I called their customer service they are more concerned about the fact I haven't shopped there for a year because I have PTSD from I don't know...... my hands BASICALLY FOING THROUGH A BLENDER. They are so rude and even had the audacity to remove my VIB points I earned because I wasn't comfortable shopping there this past year after my injury since I was left with pretty bad PTSD. Worst experience, went there yesterday to pick up some travel size makeup for my trip, anyway the first thing I found was a mini setting spray, the cashier had eyes on me the all time like if I was going to steal it! I felt the worst, I even heard her talking to someone else about me having the bottle, anyway I tried to ignore it cause I need it the stuff. I mean if she was soooo worried why she didn't offer her help with something! 10 min of browsing and an finally other employee asked me if I need it help (I saw she was busy before with other clients) and the store almost empty and the other employees standing. Unfortunately I never got a chance to even get a quick make-over. Needed some make-up advise as I was eloping on September of 2017. Figured maybe I can get in the make-up chair with an artist. Um no. When you walk in immediately you look at the size of the place. Huge selection of make-up! But it was nothing but chaos and everyone looked stressed! Running all over the place. And it wasn't even a weekend! I stood there for like a few minutes to try to grab an associate or artist. I grabbed one but she mentioned that I had to be on a list? So I waited...waited...waited for like what seemed like forever and no one came over to check on me. Tried to make eye contact with anybody, nada. I looked around as I saw other associates helping other customers and walking up to them, but nobody came up to me. Not one person. I walked up and down the isles to check on all the make-up lines and colors. I think after 30 minutes or less I left. Ended up having a make-over at the Sephora counter at Macy's in the same mall. I guess you never know about these things. Was it because I didn't dress proper? Or I didn't have make-up on? I have no idea. You never know about these things. I normally shopped at Ulta, but I wanted to try a foundation they don't carry. So I went to Sephora. My first trip I was talked into something totally different that was not much coverage for me. I took it back no hassle's and I had forgotten my receipt. The next one still not working for me on coverage and I was using way to much of it to try and get that coverage. Took it back and was introduced to Dior. It felt nice and looked great but used a lot to get the coverage and had to mix some moisturizer in to get my dewy look but still did not get what I was looking for. So yesterday I went back and went straight to the brand and (I'm horrible with names sorry) the girl that came up to me, I explained all that and she said how about and pointed, and I was YES! I originally came in for that brand. I'm hard to match colors because of my neutral undertones and sometimes don't agree with sales people. Then I have to add more concealer and highlighter to even it out. But this girl got my color right , right away. I'm white and pale, but I am not white and pale. I explained the primer I was using that I got here was not working for me at all. Which I brought back as well. She gave me samples of some that she thought I'd like before I went and bought them and found another gal to show me better setting sprays as well. I was a very happy camper when I left there. I got home and opened the foundation box and it was broken. I called them and they said bring it in. I exchanged it and all is good. They were all very accommodating to me there. From the sales girls to the cashiers. I have very sun damaged mature dehydrated skin. It has improved over the last few years with the correct cleansers and moisturizers but I have to be very careful what makeup I put on my face. At this particular Sephora, I know more about "Sephora" and the brands than they do. Which is a shame. Know your business ladies! My last experience I was met with two amazing beauty advisors. Unfortunately, when they left my side I was faced with one of the rudest, unprofessional beauty advisors I have ever been faced with at a Sephora. This location is always my go to Sephora.. flagship Sephora for me. Why? Because staff is personable and helpful, especially Carol and Julie in skincare! They truly make an effort to help find a solution for my skincare concerns. This store is a smaller format from other Sephoras' however, they always manage to keep inventory on most favorites and must haves. I really wish they would expand store to offer a place for facials.. However, as long as Julie and Carol are here, I'm fine with the size! read more

She's fantastic, spent time with each person and had wonderful suggestions for people like myself wth small eyes. Today, I went I. Went in last weekend, it's Christmas season so I'm glad the store wasn't PACKED. It was probably normal busy, I haven't been in a Sephora in a while....Anyways. I was greeted right at the door, and a sales lady asked my needs and she tried to find someone, but she ended up helping me herself I waited only like 3-4 min which is awesome for a busy store. I totally forgot to look at her name tag, she was overly helpful in my search. I'm sorry you were awesome!!!! I went in for a particular reason, Fenty Foundation. I've been using Lancome, but needed something SPF free. She found out her brand she's an ambassador for is SPF free, so she let me try some shades she applied them for me but we could not find a match for my complex complexion. It was ok though, she found Ben for me, he knew all about Fenty, the reason I came to the store. Ben!!! You are a life saver!!! He got my color IQ and my perfect match was 1 tone darker then it said, maybe it's the way I want the foundation to look, who knows. But, the Color IQ was a start to finding the perfect bendable color, then Ben did the rest. Coming into the busy store full of girls and guys with their make up on point and me going in with little to no make up on to get an accurate color IQ...I never felt uncomfortable or judged! I honestly haven't notice customer service here to be any more terrible (or better) than any other Sephora. I found, going within the first couple hours of operation or in the middle of the week before lunch rush, or before schools let out, is the best time to visit THIS exact location. I was there with a friend some weeks back and the staff there basically ignored us. When my friend approached and asked one of the staff there to recommend a foundation for purchase after showing a product of what she presently used, the lady told her they have nothing for her in that catagory and even if they do...it will be beyond her price point. I was in there to purchase a surprise gift for my girl. I'm in my 30s and know nothing about makeup. I walked in and got some weird stares. No one asked how I was doing or if I needed any help. I gave them the benefit of the doubt because it was a little busy. So I wondered around the store cluelessly. I did make some eye contact with a couple of the employees but before I could say anything they would walk away or look away, so I gave up. only when I was walking out one of the employees told me to have a great day. I don't think they treat every dude like that when they walk in by themselves but I must of caught them on an off day. I did get a gift from the Sephora store in town square. They were a lot nicer. I see that this Sephora location has a big issue with not helping customers, and is discriminatory against some customers. It is very disappointing, I have worked at Sephora during the holidays one year just as something to do. Never in a million years I thought I would go into any Sephora and be treated the way I was yesterday. The associate greeted me as I walked in, then I couldn't find what I was looking for and I asked her if she could send someone to help me. She called someone I waited for about 5 minutes and no one came then I heard an associate yell he is with someone. I am still standing and waiting about 3 minutes later an associate walks right past me and goes to help a customer that just popped up out of no where and I was the one they called help for and I was there before the lady who appeared out of no where. I'm still standing around not being helped associates walking past me so I turn the corner and the young man is not helping anyone anymore . I asked him for help he tells me ok let me call someone for you I can't leave this area and let me remind you this is the same young man that was suppose to help me earlier that they called. It's been 15 minutes or more before finally he comes over and says I was able to get away. This was the worst experience in a Sephora store I ever had in my life. They treated me like I was an alien that didn't belong in that store. I seen how they treated other customers and it was totally different from how they treated me. It's not right for businesses to treat their paying customers like this, and it hurts but I will be okay. Went into Sephora to get my make up done for my birthday on January 15th, 2017. Just overall it was a pretty horrible experience. I asked the girl doing my make up for full coverage, I got the complete opposite. My eyes looked like someone closed their eyes while trying to draw a straight line with eye liner. Awful. However, the lady doing my make up, she was super nice!! I had to walk over to Dillard's to have the beauty bar in there fix it. Next problem, I believe her name is Wendy, all I know is she's the scheduling coordinator for this Sephora location. Her attitude is the absolutely WORSE!! God forbid you ask her a question or for some help. I know for a fact I wasn't the only one to complain about her. I went in today to look for foundation to bring with me for a wedding I have coming up in a week and I was stressed about finding something. I don't have any experience with choosing foundation but they were so helpful here! I feel so bad because I asked for the associates name who helped me today and I believe it was either Jackie or Marcie? (She had reddish/orange hair and it was in a bun, blue eyes and I think gold hoop earrings?) Sorry for my memory being so bad but she was super helpful and suggested a great NARS and Fenty Beauty foundation! Oh gawd! Where do I start. I have been in this location a dozen or so times since it's opened. Not once have I ever had great customer service! Not once have I had good customer service! Not once have I had fair customer service! On the dozen times I did go I got crappy, unfriendly ( I think I make more money than you) customer service. ( Which is SO not true) Today has to be the last time I ever go there. I went to purchase a face wash & get 2 samples of a face cream . That in itself seemed like an act of congress to get those 2 little samples. I guess the lazy associate was mad that I made her " work". After this visit I'm done. I will continue to go to Sephora, just not at this location. I will go to the Town Square location. They are much better. They actually work too!! read more

I had the worst experience at this Sephora, which is painful for me to say since I shop at Sephora stores religiously (I am a VIB Rouge member) and have never been mistreated until today. I went in for a Tarte "The Buffer" brush and first off, was not even greeted at the door. So, finding my way to the Tarte section and not seeing the brush I wanted available, it took me 5 minutes to find someone who looked like they were willing to help me. The staff were talking to each other and standing around and the managers were walking around with clipboards not talking to any consumers. The girl who finally helped me checked for the brush and said they must have sold out but that she "didn't know what the box for the brush looked like either." I then asked her what a similar brush would be and she didn't know but passed me off to another girl who then told me that a similar brush is "a flat sephora brand one on the wall over there." She was completely rude and didn't want to help me at all. I'll stop here and say that I have never been treated so poorly at a sephora before. These people were not willing to help me whatsoever or offer me a similar product or show me my options. The brush I wanted was a fluffy dense brush and when asked for something similar they tell me to look at a flat brush but not even show me which one they're talking about!? I am utterly dissatisfied with my experience and will not be shopping at this location anymore. read more

I love Sephora and it is so nice to have one on this side of town! (Not so nice for my wallet, but, I do love it...) I've gotten pretty good service here on most occasions. I've gotten free samples of perfumes and colognes that I and my husband have wanted to try several times without difficulty, and gotten help choosing moisturizers, masks, etc. The customer service here is MUCH better than the service I have gotten at the Town Square and Forum locations. Their product selection isn't as great as the larger stores down near the Strip, but the store is calmer, parking is easier, and they do have a much better makeup selection than almost all other stores. One of the reasons that I used to love shopping at Sephora was the free samples and those seem to be really hit-or-miss at this location. Last week I got a full size Sephora sheet mask (7$ value) as a sample, but prior to that I don't think I'd ever gotten a free sample in my bag. They also don't always have VIB point rewards that are advertised on the Sephora app or on the website (which may be standard for other locations, I'm not sure). read more

This is a nice, new-ish Sephora. It's not a particularly large Sephora, but it's well-organized and has all the usuals you can expect from a Sephora. The staff were pleasant and nice. The line moved quickly. And everything I wanted was easy to find. How can you not love Sephora? It's a make-up and skincare mecca. If you want it, they probably have it. Went to a contour class this morning and it was awesome because it was a 1 on 1 lesson with the instructor named Wendy. I really liked how she was so friendly and talked me through the whole process. I didn't know what to expect from it and just wanted to try a class out because it was free. I really liked how she kept asking me if I had any questions and made me feel as if she was a friend that I was talking to as we went through the class. Overall, I would recommend anyone to go to the class and take it with Wendy. read more

I love sephora. I even have the VIB card because I shop there so much. I recently made an appointment here to get my makeup done for my 2 year anniversary. I had received a complimentary make-over coupon when I reached the VIB status so I thought this would be a perfect time to use it. The girl who did my makeup seemed annoyed and irritated when she was doing my makeover. The description of the makeover says it's a 45 minute session when it really lasted about 15 minutes. And when she was done she gladly reminded me that I needed to spend the $50 minimum even though I had the coupon. I was too annoyed with the whole session being a let-down to argue about the coupon so I bought some products bc I needed them anyway. From now on I will stick to going to the Town Square location. read more

I'm a day late, but better late than never! In comparison to the Sephora in Town Square, this Sephora in DT Summerlin is much quieter, which I thought would be easy for receiving assistance (ehhh). I walk in and two associates greeted me instantly with smiles, but the moment I take one step past them, they immediately resumed to their personal gossip. Very professional ... (-__-) I walked around aimlessly for 2-3 minutes, which is not that big to a normal Sephora, and came to the conclusion I had to ask for assistance. I saw an associate that barely finished with a customer and asked if she could help me. I wish I got her name (so sorry!), but it's because of her assistance and helpfulness for the four stars. I told her I was debating between two foundations: Kat Von D and the new Cover FX Custom Cover Drops. I explained to her about my oily combo skin and need a buildable foundation that can last from 8-10 hours. She immediately suggested the Cover FX and explained her reasoning based on her use and knowledge versus "Just get this one because you'll love it!" She even took my Color IQ, and tested it on my skin just to make sure. She was sweet, professional, and quick. By the way ... LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the new Cover FX Custom Cover Drops. read more

I frequent this store more than I should... Love Sephora and this location meets the chain standards. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable, if you need advise I recommend coming mid-day during the week when there isn't a lot of foot traffic. On the weekends it's hard to find a beauty expert that's not already helping someone else. My last trip here was especially pleasant, I wanted to try "baking" since everyone has been raving about and the beauty expert spent about 20 minutes on showing me different products, finding the right shades to match my skin tone, and teaching me the correct technique. So helpful! What I love about Sephora is that you can return a product you do not like, even if it's used. I also like that I can get a sample of a product that I'd like to try but am not sure will work for me. Being able to find products you love and returning them if you don't helps with not going completely bankrupt after makeup/beauty product shopping. read more

Just wanted to say thank you to Ivana, who was very friendly and helped me out today with some foundation samples. I'm a little sunburned on my chest and had another foundation blended down my neck, so I was matching a couple shades to my tan on my arm(even though I know that's kind of a no-no). She helped me out with a couple shades to try and for once I didn't feel judged for asking. Although it was a quick interaction, I didn't feel uncomfortable or like a nuisance, like I have a few other times at other Sephora stores in the area. The store also seemed to have all the things I was wanting to check out in stock and displays/testers seemed pretty clean from what I saw. Might be my new go-to location. read more

My mistake. I went in on a Saturday afternoon in the month of December. The store is full of teenagers trying all the products. I give the staff credit they did ask if I needed any help but when I asked where something was instead of walking me to the product the salesperson pointed and said it's over there where the customer with the Victoria's Secret bag is standing. Was another three foot walk going to kill her? So I selected my product and went to pay. Now the line is 15 people deep and there were 4 clerks but with all the idle chit chat at the register and all the upselling going on it just took awhile to check out. I won't do that again!
