I'm sorry, what? Why couldn't I just have been properly helped from the beginning? I don't have time to be playing these back and forth games. It could have been five, but because the line was super long i gave it a four. They need more people on the floor to help with the Cologne and perfume section. Came by specifically to purchase Versace's travel cologne Eros Flame. I was surprised that all the Versace colognes weren't in stock including the one that I wanted to purchase. I asked one of the employees to call if Redlands Sephora store had what I wanted. She replied that no one had it in stock and we had to order it online because the company brand was coming out with more merchandise. When I went online, I found it at Redlands and I could buy it online to be picked up. Why you would mislead your customers with wrong information? Poor customer service on her part. My husband went to this location sadly he went to buy me my Valentine's Day gift last min. He mention how he wish he was able to wrap my gift bag with some tissue paper that usually comes with your Sephora bag, but the lady in the front desk who was wearing about 10 pounds of make up was very rude and unprofessional. She stated that she could not give him any tissue paper because he didn't buy a perfume . My husband purchased about $300 of YSL make up. She had a lot of attitude and was very unkind for no reason maybe because she didn't have a Valentine's Day and had to work. Who knows I just don't recommend the store if they are willing to hire people who lack customer service skills. Please learn to treat your customers better. Get rid of the attitude girl it's outdated like your makeup. Go to the Sephora at Kohl's down the street. They're very nice girls that work there and actually know how to apply makeup properly. Came to this Sephora with my sister & honestly it was such a horrible experience. The minute we entered the store we were targeted by the staff. Every single aisle we turned to we were getting bombarded with staff. I get it, theft is very high right now but we genuinely just wanted to shop. I love Sephora so much. This place makes me happy. Sign up so you can get rewards with them. Each online order comes with two samples, used to be three before. In store was not giving out samples, like they had before, but it may have been updated. I used to subscribe to their beauty box and found so many good products due to that. FINALLY the Mills has a Sephora and it's way better than the one at Victoria Gardens or the one in Montclair. Love the layout of the store and the products they carry. In particular they have Pat McGrath makeup and this Miu Miu perfume that I would always check for at Victoria Gardens but they would never restock it over there. The night I visited it wasn't a madhouse in there and the line was not long at all. The Sephora staff were all super nice and greeted us at every corner asking if we needed help with anything. I went with my 12 year old daughter first they're wouldn't let me in with her because only 64 people were allowed in the store at a time. Let me begin by saying that I love Sephora especially at the Montclair Mall. This one not so much. I walked in and there were employees at the front but not one greeted me. As I continued on, shopping for what I was looking for, not once did anyone ask me if I needed assistance. It was not because they were busy but they all seemed to huddle into corners talking amongst themselves. Further, the store was not stocked appropriately (for samples) plus there was trash (tissues,etc) littering the floor and the shopping baskets. Not sanitary at all. Instead of waiting, I thought I'd just buy KVD contour kit. I've previously purchased it and loved it. So fast forward, i open the kit up for the first time and its obviously USED. I was disgusted. I used to have to go to the Sephora in Victoria Gardens to get products I ran out of and I always hated going because I know finding someone was always difficult and majority of the staff were really rude on multiple occasions. I'm glad this location opened up because when I first went (I think her name was Abi) was really really nice and helped me out. She made me a recommendation on a new foundation, shade matched me, and offered me a sample of the foundation to try before I even asked. And surprisingly, she got my shade right the first time. Extremely rude and lazy staff. I know Sephora hands out free samples of makeup and I wanted to get one of Dior lipstick to try out on myself. The lady staff that helped me was extremely rude and said that they don't give out samples in store. I never had this issue before, it seems the staff are just unhappy with their job and takes it out on the customers. Also, I had to wait 10 minutes for a staff to help me because the staff were running around the store. One staff said "One minute and I'll be back". She never returned and I had to find someone else. In the end, I left without any purchases. How can I buy a lipstick if I can't get a sample to try out? Very dismissive staff who did not want to help customers. I must say the girls in here are so helpful, not like Victoria Gardens. I wish I had asked there names, one was a redhead that is so helpful and kind and the other girl had longer brunette hair that answered all of my questions and took her time with me.
