I've been a VIB member for a while now so I'm a regular at Sephora stores. I don't go to this location often mainly because of the parking, but it's actually not that bad. There is a park and walk with 90min of free parking off of Green St. I was at this location around 5:30pm on a Wednesday. Surprisingly, it wasn't that busy. I was able to get some helpful recommendations from Natalie the Boscia rep. She was very patient and willing to help me with my skin care needs. I ended up buying the Korres Yoghurt Cleanser and got a good amount of Boscia samples. I'm very happy with my visit and I think I will come back to this one instead of driving out to the Santa Anita Mall. read more

Every time I come in here they make it so uncomfortable for me to even look around, in particular this one girl in which i think her name is Selena. I get in to the store and I'm greeted and wherever I'm at she's there, any isle I decide to go into to browse she's at the end of the isle. She makes it so obvious too, do they get paid to do those things? Aren't you suppose to be helping people pick at makeup or do their makeup?? instead of watching over them. Like I never get it. And it's so obvious that they talk about you. Like I see that same girl whisper something into another girls ear while I'm walking towards them and that other girl turns around and stares at me. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that Sephora also carried men's products, scant men's products! Nevertheless, Great store, Friendly, very knowledgeable and helpful staff. I particularly enjoyed the Jack Black series though I had a not so good experience with the facial moisturizer which I returned with no questions asked. Such a nice, well-stocked store. The staff is so helpful. I called them to collect my items and they were at the cash register waiting upon my arrival. Great store, come on the weekdays, much slower and a more comfortable experience. Every staff that I encountered was very helpful and honest about certain products. The store is not that spacious compared to other stores, but still have a great selection. I would definitely recommend this place because of the helpful staff. read more

haven't shopped at this location in about a year or two (ever since they changed location) but every time i used to shop here a Worker named Kat/Cat? (skinny girl with somewhat big eyes and dark black hair not too much makeup on and always looked happy) i think that was here name was always very helpful and friendly never let you down and just completely gave you the experience of what shopping at Sephora should be. I can't put into words how much I love good products and at the sephora in old town Pasadena, Porshee always leads me in the right direction when my skin needs help. She is always te sweetest, genuinely caring, lovely rep that I go to whenever I have any questions. I Love when she is there because she always gives me details on why works , how it works, and the best way to get results . Sephora is so lucky to have her on staff it is always a pleasure to be directed to the right products without feeling like someone is trying to just sell you a bunch of product. I went in to exchange my Urban Decay All Nighter Liquid Foundation. The sales associate at Sephora inside JC Penny had matched me a couple of shades too dark (after the foundation oxidized). Liz greeted me and assisted me in finding the right shade for me. After thoroughly checking their inventory, she told me that it was out of stock but offered to return my foundation and order my correct shade online. She also offered to give me a sample to tide me over until my order arrived. While someone else helped process my exchange, she passed by and asked if anyone had gotten my sample yet, which they hadn't so she went to get it. Liz is very attention and helpful, providing excellent customer service with a smile on her face. I look forward to going back to this location with any questions about products Sephora carries, and know she will offer great advice. read more

All I can say is that the last time I was in this store I had the most pleasant experience. From the sales person offering me free shipping to order an out of stock item to another sales person making my friend and I perfume samples, my entire experience was great. I originally had a make up appointment at MAC. Twenty five minutes passed and the artist was still helping customers make purchases as they came in. I had a wedding to attend in Seattle,WA in the evening. I was in a tight schedule because I had to catch a flight in a couple of hours. I left MAC and walked into Sephora hoping that someone can do my make up. All the employees were friendly! They gave me an appointment with 20 minutes and I even started early because I told them about my time crunch. I had an appointment with Dalena Larson. I asked her to make my make up last because I was going straight to the airport once we are done. She was super friendly, understanding, patient, hands that didn't smell like food and knowledgeable! I've been going to get my make up done for a number of years now and it never looked as phenomenal as she made it to be. She made my skin look radiant and made me look naturally beautiful. Even though I had a lot of products on my face, it didn't show at all. Also, I received many complements! I thought she did an amazing job and from now on, I will be making appointments with her. I couldn't go two minutes without the staff asking me "are you okay? Do you need anything?" I was asked OVER TEN TIMES. The employees made me feel unwelcomed and made me uncomfortable as though I was trying to steal their product. SAL is the best makeup artist ever! I was visiting family from out of town and booked my first Beauty Studio appointment here for fun. I looked and felt like Kim Kardashian when I left!! Lol :D Sal also has great people skills and kept me entertained with good conversation throughout my entire appointment with him. He even took the time to teach and explain several methods of applying the makeup look that I wanted. Even though my appointment was only supposed to be 45 minutes, he spent 1.5 hours with me explaining every step. For him, I would give more than 5 stars if I could! I took off one star because although I showed up 10 min early for my 6:30pm Beauty Studio appointment, I ended up waiting 25 minutes and asking a second sales associate before I was helped (I think I was forgotten by the first sales associate I checked in with). However, the second girl I asked was very helpful and got someone to come help me right away. This store also exhibited great customer service by giving me a bag of skincare freebies (including several deluxe samples) to make up for it! Overall (aside from the first sales associate I spoke to), I would say the people who work here are some of the friendliest and most customer-oriented I've seen out of any Sephora store I've been to. read more

Horrible. I came there to get a foundation , but it seemed like the foundation I came there for was out of stock , so I asked this guy there if they had my color in stock and he just smiled and was telling me to give him a second and never even bother to assist me and just walked away to go grab something lol because he was busy doing something , but after a while of waiting 20-25 mins he literally never came back to help me I was literally waiting right there next to him by the Kay von d section, I asked other people and they kept saying they're busy . Then I tried asking this other lady if they had this other makeup brand there and she just said "mmm noo we don't " and just walked away from me , then the workers seen me just standing there and did not even help me at all, or even bother to ask if I needed help with anything , or telling me about other stuff I should try besides this other foundation I should use instead.... This was horrible lol, literally other Sephora stores I been to ask they're costumers if they need help with Anything or tell you other products that are good for you to use for your skin type .. but the main one who pissed me off was that guy that just smiled and made me think he was going to help me out , but instead ignored me lol . They have the best collection of high class beauty items and on top they have the best customer service. I just went there with my friend that was my first visit but their customer service made me get their membership now they update me with every new product or services they have through email. It is the best place to buy makeup. They also have a trail makeup service so if u have their card and u purchase stuff and collect certain points u win free makeup trail. I usually shop at the Sephora located in The Americana but I was in the area and decided to stop by. My friend and I were there for at least 25 mins and were not offer any help. That was until Minnie came along...she is the only reason I'm giving this store 4 stars. She was very helpful and had great advice to give. She help my friend find the perfect face cleanser, primer, foundation, and setting powder. She also helped me find a new foundation and did a skin test on me. This is by far the best Sephora I've been to. The location in Glendale at the Americana was so terrible to me (and other people) that I decided I wouldn't go there again. From the minute I went into the Pasadena location to the minute I left, I only had amazing moments. Everyone was so sweet and helpful so I had to compliment them on their customer service! I have always had a great experience at this location but yesterday, the two guy cashiers purposely left out one of my products which i had paid $56 for.This was all because i returned some products which did not work for me and I actually felt bad because i had used 3/4 of the products. They gave me really dirty looks when i returned them.That did not give the the cashiers the right to purposely leave out one products that I had already paid for. That was so unprofessional and I'm glad that I live close by and was able to go back as soon as i realised. This has taught me a lesson....guys check all your products underneath all that fluff incase they intentionally leave stuff out. That has never happened to me. Such unprofessional behavior!!! If you're Mexican and you walk in there, especially as a young adult (like college age), they will hover over you like a hawk. The vibe in that Sephora is so judgmental it's uncomrotable. I get that there's lot of theft and I get that they wanna help a customer and ask them their needs and wants but when they keep looking at you and they keep following you and trying to help to an extreme extent, it's really uncomfortable. I do not like this sephora. You probably won't have a comfortable experience unless you look rich and are white or Asian. read more

The artists here are always nice and helpful even if my makeup isn't done and I'm not dressed well, however Ulta has a way better selection concerning Urban Decay. I was completely out of my powder and made the effort to walk from home (about a 15 minute walk) to get there but was very surprised that the selection was mostly highlighters! Who can finish their look with an Instagram trend? Powders without talc and nasty chemicals are very important to me. I like this location but since they do not have every product on hand I will be making my way back to Ulta. read more

I am a big Sephora shopper. I can usually find anything I need. But this location is not their best. Only 2 employees have ever been helpful. I usually can not find any item I look for. The employees are not familiar with the products and would rather gossip with each other than help customers. I prefer the Hollywood location even though it is not as close to my home. read more

Went in for a makeover for a dinner party. Makeup artist was amazing, products were amazing, overall a very good experience. I'm used to going to the one in Glendale at the Americana and this was the first time in the one in Pasadena. Only thing I didn't like was that the one in Americana sort of has a walk way where you can clearly see what's where but this one sort of has a bad set up where the minute you walk in you see a cluster of makeup stands and I feel I would have a hard time finding anything around inside by myself. A bit of rearranging and restructuring may be helpful for the customers. read more

Entered the store, eyes searching the walls for Estee Lauder and Urban Decay and walked past two associates that both said hi, but did not offer to help me find something....it was obvious I was looking for something. Finally an associate noticed me struggling at the UD Eye Shadows. She asked if I need help but was gone before I could answer! She passed me again, same thing. Third time was the charm. But she still wasn't focused on what I wanted, tried to sell me a different brand all together. This store did not carry Estee Lauder....bummer. I ran in to as an FBI agent using her headphone/microphone set up like Ana did on 9/8, she told me to call 1-800.....to find out which store carries Estee Lauder. Cashier was great. She was trying to help me find an eyeliner that will actually stay for the whole day without putting any primer. She was going thru counter to counter trying to find me a good reliable eyeliner for my upcoming Vegas trip! Great service. She was trying out all these different sample and showing me that these doesn't smear. I ended up getting the Dior show eyeliner. A bit more pricey but you get what you pay for. read more

I love this cosmetics store. It has a lot of products inside. One time I went there to buy the sheet mask. The clerk explain the mask which is good foe my skin patiently and answered my questions about treatment my skin. This store has the great service and good products. read more
