    Rude salesman's

    Beware of this lady. Carful when coming to this sephora. I tried asking a simple question about where a product would be and this lady just ignored me and passed me. I wasn't even going to take up her time just wanted to ask a simple question.

    If you can't successfully apply makeup to dark skinned people, just say that.

    I've been to this Sephora many times to have my makeup done and have always been pleased...until today! I explained in detail to the makeup artist what I like and prefer in my makeup, including brows that simply highlight my existing brow shape. Nothing aggressive. I looked in the mirror - the brows were extremely aggressive and not cute. I told her AGAIN what I'd like so she started to overload her aggressive brows with concealer. She also blamed it on me needing a brow wax, which no MUA has ever said to me before. She used foundation that made my dark skin look like I was trying to be a light skinned Black woman. She actually managed to make me look worse than when I entered the store for my appointment. I was totally vocal with her about being displeased with the look. Her solution was to add yet another layer of makeup, suggesting bronzer to try and bring color back to my face. I declined because I knew there was no salvaging the terrible look. I was polite, yet clear that I was unhappy with the service. She didn't suggest another artist come and fix things. She didn't get a manager or speak to her manager about how to make things better. She just said she was done and asked me if it would cash or charge. In an effort to not be confrontational (IYKYK), I paid her, then left and called the store to speak with a manager as soon as I got home. The manager, Tracy, was even less help than the MUA. She told me I could come back in an hour to get my face redone (which would make me late to the event for which I made the appointment in the first place), then scolded me for not talking to her while there. The responsibility to do right by a paying customer is not on the customer; it should be on the business and its associates! My suggestion to Black women, ESPECIALLY if you are dark skinned is to not sit in Mel's chair. Trust me. I wasted my money for all of you!

    Super friendly and helpful Kelly helped me the best she could but time and time again what I wanted to buy was not in the store. The store was out of stock of many things I came in to buy. When Kelly recommended we go to the next brand to see if they had what I need, that brand was also out of stock. I was told by the friendly cashier to come back in a few days when they'd be restocked. Disappointing visit to this Sephora.

    I have made purchases in this amazing cosmetics store several times, my God they have ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING, I am shocked with delight, I always find what I need there and the employees of this store help me a lot with this, the service is at the highest level, the staff is always accurate knows where everything is and finds it for me without mistake, very polite, very friendly, super nice, in general, I leave this cosmetics store absolutely delighted, five stars and my recommendations, you are all super

So... bought a curling iron and said if it doesn't do the job can I return it but not for store credit. Yes just bring it back in a few days with the receipt. Well I did that today and the owner who is having hard times (as we all are) said no only store credit ... I repeated what the salesgirl said and still wouldn't budge .... What ever happened to customer loyalty and respect .... She said ok I'll take it back but 20% off. I said what's the 20% for? The salesgirls time... I said that's her job she gets paid for that. You should be paying my gas for coming here which after this probably won't happen again I said fine... if it's more important to have $30. than my loyalty to your store you lost a customer. Then she asked if I wanted some samples .... Samples I said .. no all I would have wanted was respect... I hope the $30 was worth it. Never again. You lost me.

Years of dark box dye, stubborn grays, daily washing, swimming in pools, lakes, and the ocean, plus falling asleep with wet hair more often than I'd like to admit. Other than a haircut every few months, my hair is abused! Now that I'm in my 40s, my gray roots seem to show up every week and a half, and I was tired of constantly covering them with sprays, wands, and root touch-up products that never looked quite right. Then I met Yesenia (@_hairbyyessi_) at ULTA, and she completely changed my outlook on my hair. (I didn't even know ULTA had a salon!) From the moment I sat in her chair, Yesenia was kind, knowledgeable, and completely judgment-free about my long list of questionable hair habits. She took the time to explain how highlights and toning could help blend and disguise my grays, creating a look that would be much lower maintenance than constantly coloring my roots. The results were amazing! My hair looks natural, dimensional, and so much healthier. Even my very picky daughter immediately noticed and complimented how beautiful it looked. If you're struggling with grays, tired of constant touch-ups, or feel overwhelmed by your hair situation, I highly recommend Yesenia. She is professional, talented, patient, and truly makes you feel comfortable throughout the entire process. I paid $250 for this, and I'm really unhappy with the results. My daughter wanted to stop in, and we were initially just browsing. As someone who is very shy and usually prefers to shop on my own, I typically decline help unless I need it. After my daughter asked a question, an associate with pink hair stepped in to help, and she completely transformed our experience. She was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely passionate about the products. She took the time to explain several items in detail, demonstrated products for me, and even showed me how to properly layer them. I've been shopping at Lush for years and still learned things I never knew. What impressed me most was how well she read the room. She never made us feel pressured to buy anything. She made us feel comfortable, welcome, and genuinely cared for. Talking with her felt less like interacting with a salesperson and more like chatting with a friend I'd known for years. We ended up spending well over $250, not because of a sales pitch, but because she took the time to educate us and create such a positive experience. By the end of our visit, both my daughter and I felt so comfortable and appreciated that we gave her a hug goodbye. For two very shy people, that's saying a lot. That interaction left such a positive impression on us that it genuinely set the tone for the rest of our day. After we left, I actually called the store hoping to get her name so I could recognize her specifically, but I completely understand and respect the store's privacy policies. The staff was super friendly and let us walk around the store before the start, sample products and ask a ton of questions. The actual party experience itself involved a step by step skincare routine from cleansing to exfoliant to toner to serum to lotion. We also got to make our own bubble bar which was so fun and unique! We also got a goodie bag with what I think is the birthday party exclusive bath bomb, the piñata bath bomb! I haven't tried this yet but I love a good bath bomb and Lush is the pioneer in this field so I'm sure it'll be great. I'm not 100% certain if this was part of the birthday package or extra but we also got a $30 credit to shop in the store and I purchased a lavender sleepy balm that I have been using nightly to aid in relaxing before bed. I also got the magnesium body balm that I like to rub on my hands before bed to better help my sleep and some fresh eye patches but I think while I would repurchase the lavender and magensium balms, I wouldn't get the eye patches as they didn't adhere to the skin and would require laying down for some time.
