Elbow to elbow since it's the holidays. People are making some last minute purchases for themselves or for gifts. I thought I would be in line forever but surprisingly no. Yay!! I came to get my free travel size perfume. They didn't have the perfume that I wanted so I chose something else. I haven't opened it yet but I'm hoping it will be good. The sales people who helped me are nice, patient, and knowledgeable about the products that they have. Good store to shop for women's essentials. She was showing her client something from the line, she scoots in front of me with out saying "excuse me " or "can I grab that" just slowly pushes me out the way. I have never experienced that in my life & this is my home store. I wish I said something. Yet again I went in for help with a new fragrance. Yet again i was not disappointed! The first woman I asked if she could help me and she said yes BUT disappeared never coming back! Another woman named Christina appeared 5 minutes later saw I was having some trouble trying to smell fragrances and asked if she could help me. I told her I was looking for a new fragrance. I told her what I liked and what I had used in past. Christina took over and immediately cut through the intense selection to 5 or 6 items - including some newer flavor profiles she wanted me to smell. She was thorough, clearly enjoyed what she did and was super knowledgeable...and very nice. 20 minutes later I left with two scents - both items I never expected! Thank you Christina. The staff is not very knowledgeable about the products they carry. Just know these employees are not experts about any of the product. You gotta do your own research.. Most of the time they try to avoid you and if they do help you out, they look irritated that you are asking multiple questions. A lot of the times they don't have the right answer, but they will say anything to get you to buy. This location used to be a lot better maybe they're just hiring a bunch of people because of the holidays. Maybe I just got helped by newbies. I've been to this Sephora many times to have my makeup done and have always been pleased...until today! I explained in detail to the makeup artist what I like and prefer in my makeup, including brows that simply highlight my existing brow shape. Nothing aggressive. I looked in the mirror - the brows were extremely aggressive and not cute. I told her AGAIN what I'd like so she started to overload her aggressive brows with concealer. She also blamed it on me needing a brow wax, which no MUA has ever said to me before. She used foundation that made my dark skin look like I was trying to be a light skinned Black woman. She actually managed to make me look worse than when I entered the store for my appointment. I was totally vocal with her about being displeased with the look. Her solution was to add yet another layer of makeup, suggesting bronzer to try and bring color back to my face. I declined because I knew there was no salvaging the terrible look. I was polite, yet clear that I was unhappy with the service. She didn't suggest another artist come and fix things. She didn't get a manager or speak to her manager about how to make things better. She just said she was done and asked me if it would cash or charge. In an effort to not be confrontational (IYKYK), I paid her, then left and called the store to speak with a manager as soon as I got home. The manager, Tracy, was even less help than the MUA. She told me I could come back in an hour to get my face redone (which would make me late to the event for which I made the appointment in the first place), then scolded me for not talking to her while there. The responsibility to do right by a paying customer is not on the customer; it should be on the business and its associates! My suggestion to Black women, ESPECIALLY if you are dark skinned is to not sit in Mel's chair. Trust me. I wasted my money for all of you! read more

I always have good experiences at this location. The beauty advisors are always cheery and helpful. This time in particular I would like to highlight the exceptional customer service provided by one of the managers Sharon. She was able to track down my previous return so I could provide it to DoorDash. I had purchased items through DoorDash from Sephora. I made a return the week prior and I didn't realize you needed to send a picture of the receipt. It was my first time doing a return through DoorDash, it was my mistake. Sharon was very understanding of the situation. I explained I had contacted Sephora customer service via phone and email as well as DoorDash. She went above and beyond to track down my return so I could provide picture evidence. I am so so grateful! As someone who previously worked beauty retail I appreciate the kindness shown to me as I know it's not easy to track down a previous order like that. Lin, or Lynne, wish I asked how u spell her name but she works mostly for Dior, was amazing. I came in and wanted to color match my foundation because I wanted to try something new. At first the employee told me it was a 25-30 min wait but then Lin came and helped me. Although she doesn't color match for Haus labs, she helped me. She also told me she could show me Dior, which was much better on my skin texture. She then showed me a serum and perfecteur from Dior which she immediately sold me. I initially thought this Sephora was going to be overcrowded and no one would be able to help me find my products. I was wrong. The staff at this location were very helpful! Extremely helpful. If something wasn't available on the display shelf, they would go to the back to see if they had extra. At least 5 different employees came up and asked did I need help. I don't think I received that amount of great customer service from any other Sephora. Usually I would have to walk around and find someone to help me or get on a waitlist to get help but not here they have enough staff that are willing to come to you to ask if you need assistance. You would not expect that type of service inside a busy mall. I will definitely come back to this location. read more

I literally wear this and others like it with no issue from anyone other then that woman in the front of this Sephora. A couple of months ago I made a purchase which was charged to my bank account, and I requested a Sephora credit card which the cashier said didn't require any monthly payments. Today I received a call saying that my payments were overdue and I owed them $65 for a purchase of $33, which they still charged to my bank account. I had a very unpleasant interaction with the manager (Alex) as I was trying to shop in-store today. The item that wanted wasn't available on display so I opened the drawer beneath and the color I wanted was right on top so I wanted to grab it and proceed to the register when the manager (Alex) loudly scolded me in front of the customers she was helping, saying you can't go through the drawer" mind you the item was sitting right on top of the drawer. She proceeded to helping her customers so I placed the item back in the drawer, walked to grab a makeup wipe to remove the swatch, and left the store. This is not a good location. It's 50/50 as to who you get to help you and they're often out of products. They need to learn what customer service means. The manager should be fired. She has no clue how to speak to others, is highly condescending & rude. I was told a retinoid product was going to help my skin. Instead, it reversed the tone and dried it out. When I went to return the product with receipt, I was told that bc it was between 30-60 days I could no longer receive my money back. Only a merchandise credit. This is a ridiculous policy. It's not the customers issue if you can't sell a face cream after 30 days. That shouldn't be put on the customer, especially as it takes that long to try a new face product to see if it works. Not only that, the manager kept calling me friend. "Sorry friend, I cant give you your money back friend, we have a strict return policy friend". It came off highly condescending and rude. I'm not here to be your friend, I'm here to get MY money back that Sephora stole. I'm calling the govt consumer affairs on this practice today bc it's FRAUD. read more

Very helpful and friendly staff. The scents can be very overpowering, but unfortunately that's true for most stores that sell makeup. I had been reading about Rihannas Fenty line and I had been dying to try out her foundation. I walked in today at Sephora, was greeted by the sales associates at the store, walked straight to the Fenty products and just stared at her entire line while I worked up courage to ask someone for assistance in finding my shade. Someone beat me to it and asked if I was doing okay, I then made my request for help about choosing a shade. She paged someone by the name Ericka and that's where the magic happened! I told her that for a while I was using the Nyx line but my skin was drying out and it wasnt giving me full coverage anymore. I felt like I wasnt using the right shades, my colors were off, and since I'm a new mom I needed something time- efficient. Say no more, this girl took me on a tour of the store, we tried out a few shades from different brands and $177 dollars later: for the first time, I felt happy walking out spending that much. I felt beautiful again, we talked a bit while she showed me foundations, and concelars and lip liners. She was patient, kind and nurturing. It felt like I was talking to a long time friend while shopping for new makeup! Haha. I walked out feeling amazing and feeling great about my purchase. The I was purchasing one eye brown pencil and I was returning one that I got by mistake I put my phone number and she said you have 2 accounts she said if you don't remember which account you used I can not help you. I told her I come here all the time they all do a nice job and they'll be like let me check both of you accounts to see which one has your old purchase.. but she made me feel like I was stupid and said next time write down the account you use she was saying fuk everytime in low voice. Yesterday around 5pm I was shopping for eyebrow shade . I spoke with someone pulling out my purse my old benefit eyebrow shadow and asked if they had Anastasia and which one she would recommend. She recommended the Anastasia which what I was thinking I should get because I heard it works amazing . So she directs me to the section I speak with another sales associate and asked when she was finished if she didn't mind helping and she said no problem . So I waited for her to finish with her client and then she helped me pick out what I was looking for . I thanked her for help and went to look around to see what else I might want . ( well I guess that was a wrong decision on my end ) I go to we're they have the brushes for sell because I was looking for a new brush to put on my foundation. I noticed the lady who assisted me with my eyebrow shadow is watching me. I didn't pay to much mind to it , I start to think she may think I might need more help . I go to another section and I turn around and she is right there to the point she scared me and she pretended that she was fixing things . ( step 2 of something feeling like I'm being followed ). So I go to the deva curl section to see if they have the product I usually use , which they did n I look up n look to the right n the First Lady I spoke with is staring at me talking in her mic n quickly turns her head.( 3rd time I feel like I'm being watch ) so I proceed to get in line to pay . So while standing in line I start looking at little things to add to my cart. So it's finally my turn to pay I start talking to the lady that was helping me check out questions about good mascara. (Which she was the only person good in my eyes ) And then all of sudden every lady that was in the front of the store that helped me pick up my eyebrow shadow starts to walk to cashier , looking at what I have on the counter and what I'm paying for and quickly walks away doesn't say a single word just looks . Then the lady I first spoke for advice does the same exact thing . Finally it ends with a pregnant lady ( short with black nike huaraches shoes ) that walks behind her cashier looks at the counter and then looks at Me as if she had a question , or to see if I stole the eyebrow shadow and or if she wanted to check my purse to see if I stole anything . Every person that checked for what I was paying for was associates that stayed in the front of the store. So for them to walk all the way back to the cashier to check on me was discrimination . Needless to say I would like to say your store was packed and out of all people I'm the only person is who being watched an followed to see if I paying for what I asked for in the front of the store . If your staff didn't trust me they should have said I'll take it the front for you while you shop. Which I actually wouldn't have had a problem but to be followed throughout the store and have every employee walk to cashier to see if I paid for what I had requested was absolutely uncalled for . Was it because the color of my skin ? Yes I'm latin brown skin . I start to think because I didn't look like someone who would steal I had 3k purse on with $1,200 dollar wallet . ( which was Loui V) so why your staff felt the need to make me seem like someone Iam not is very hurtful , not only that I felt ashamed and questioned who I am . ( replayed what I did to think if I gave any clues to be treated this way but I didn't ) No matter what kind of bag I had on or the color of my skin doesn't give the right to your staff to make people feel they are a stereotype. The only reason I didn't bring it to your staffs attention right then in there is because someone was calling me looking for me to leave . Endless to say I will never go back to the location again and I will be advising all my colored friends never to go to this location if you want to be treated like your a thief. You all need to work on this with your staff because this isn't the first time Sephora has made customers who are colored feel like they are something they are NOT!!!! I have been a Sephora customer for many many years. I bought a product some time ago and opened it to find the dropper was not working. I did not have a receipt, since the product was faulty I figured I wouldn't have an issue exchanging it. This product can only be purchased at a Sephora store. The manager was very unhelpful refused to return it even though it was damaged and clearly new. I told her it had been past 60 days since purchased but I just opened it, the product was clearly new, she said there was nothing she can do. I kept insisting the issue was the dropper, I usually buy product in bulk so I don't run out but she refused. I'm very disappointed, I've never had an issue when a product itself is damaged to ensure the customer has a good experience she could have made an exception especially since the Dr Jars line is only available at Sephora. I'm discouraged from ever shopping at a Sephora again, overpriced makeup, the associates try to sell you the most ridiculous things or have no knowledge of the product. Not returning to this Sephora or any other for that matter. Very unhappy and disappointed with the horrible service I received, I encourage you to shop elsewhere. read more
