We ordered the Melrose and Howdy and really enjoyed them. The bread was fantastic and not dry at all. The sandwiches were generously sized and filled with tons of veggies. I am definitely going to go back to try some of their cold sandwiches next time.

I've been to Ghost Sando a few times now and I'm always happy with their sandwiches. Packed full of fresh ingredients and they don't break the bank? What more could a girl want!? I've tried the ~ Melrose - Dutch Crunch, Melrose spread, Black Forest Ham, Oven Roasted Turkey, Bacon, melted White American cheese & slaw. Howdy - Dutch Crunch, mayo, Chicken tossed in sweet BBQ sauce, Bacon and melted Mozzarella topped with lettuce, red onion and dusted with chives. Phoenix - Dutch Crunch, mayo, Chicken tossed in spicy Buffalo Ranch, melted Mozzarella, topped with lettuce and dusted with chives. Terminator - Dutch Crunch, mayo, Black Forest Ham, Bacon, cream cheese, melted Swiss, Sweet Baby Rays BBQ, Tabasco, topped with lettuce and red onion. All delicious and always satisfied with their eats! Their breakfast sandwiches are fire, too, so don't sleep on them~!

This place is so good! I love their harvest veggie sandwich. I added mayo and some other veggies to mine as well and I changed the cheese to pepper jack it was perfect. My friend got The melrose and he said it was really good too. The only thing I wish is they had different bread options as the Dutch crunch can be a bit much. Other than that very solid sandwich spot

Since we were in the area, we decided to stop here because of the great reviews we've seen. Did not disappoint, will definitely make the drive back again! I got the tuna cold sub 8/10 And what ever sandwich my sister got looked amazing and she rated it a 10/10, so i will be trying that one next time . Friendly staff and clean

Was craving a sandwich and I was so glad to see this place pop up nearby! I ordered The Melrose from the very friendly man working at the register and it came out pretty quickly. All the ingredients were fresh, the cheese was melty, the amount of sauce was perfect, and the Dutch crunch bread was both soft and crispy. This is a minimalist shop with some tables and chairs, and it seems like many people order takeout. Since this restaurant is on Melrose, I just parked in the neighborhoods.

Was so excited to hear there's an LA spot offering Dutch Crunch. That's one of my favorite breads for sandwiches. Unfortunately, there was a lack of a crunch in this sandwich. I love the hefty portion of meat and slaw that was in this sandwich but I thought it was a little too acidic for my liking. The staff were welcoming! They were patient as we were deciding what to order. They were also accommodating when we asked if they could cut the sandwich in 3's so we can all share. The store is a bit hard to find but they have a sign posted in front that advertise that they sell sandwiches. There's paid street parking in front and around the store. There's only a few tables inside the shop but it felt comfortable to enjoy a quick lunch.

Solid sandwich options within the Melrose District. they have premium meats, hot + cold sandwiches and homemade sauces! We ordered their Melrose and the Firebird. Both came packed with ingredients between two Dutch crunch slices of bread. You get both sweet and savory! Ghost Sando offers 3 different sizes for your convenience, ranging anywhere from $11-$18.

This is BY FAR one of my favorite sandwich spots in Los Angeles! Everything about the sandwiches here is absolutely perfect - from the perfectly crunchy dutch bread, to the generous toppings and ingredients in each sandwich that is both filling and yet also not overpowering in any way. It's an unassuming exterior for the most part - but within, the seating is ample for anyone wishing to dine-in. I've also experienced nothing but the BEST service and friendliness on all of my visits to this establishment. They have both hot & cold sandos, although my personal favorite remains their main staple - 'The Melrose'! Delectably delicious with plenty of creaminess, flavor, and texture. Nothing overpowers other ingredients. I love that!! When in the LA area, I highly recommend making a stop at the Ghost Sando Shop!

I stopped by this week on my lunch break. It was very difficult to locate. The signage wasn't very obvious. I passed right by it. I ordered a club sandwich and a bag of chips. The chips were not it. I wish they carried frito lay options, but that's a personal preference. I had very high hopes for my sandwich. The crunch bread itself is what I was really looking forward to. It was a little underwhelming. My sandwich had tons of lettuce and not enough protein. I had to take some of it out. It tasted like water lol. I did like the avocado spread, that was a nice touch. Maybe it was an off day?

I ordered the XL Kickin Chicken. It was a very full sandwich with lots of meat and the chipotle adobo spread was good. The order was made quickly

It's so fun that most of my friends know how much I've been in love with sandwiches and they keep all those great recos coming my way! Recently my collegue who's also a sandwich fan, recommended me Ghost Sando. It's interestingly felt like confirmation sign given I've had it on my list, just haven't put it on priority list. July 4th it is, my first attempt trying Ghost Sando. It wasn't overly busy around noon, but I could see a ton of people ordered ahead online. The bright turquoise themed spot was like Tiffany's but made it sandwich place LOL. I've been going through people's review on the place, which were pretty diversed in terms of the top reco; some were from the hot selections, some the cold ones. Knowing their menu was pretty rich, it's such blessing that the attendant was super helpful in trying to explain and assisting me making choice. Apparently the difference between hot and cold wasn't the matter of one being toasted and other not (per my guesstimate), but more about the stuffing (protein & cheese) each featured. I went for the 'Howdy', which was served with uber generous amount of chicken breast slices and thick cut bacon. I felt I did get good balance on my veggie doze there looking at the equally thick layer of lettuce it carried. This one came with their Howdy sauce, basically the house's sweet barbeque, along with melted mozzarella cheese. If you're fond of the kind of sandwich with rich toppings and only light touch of sauce, this would definitely be your cup of tea. Overall it was delightful, but if I could I would fancy slightly more cheese there. Size to prize was certainly worthy IMO as their standard Large size was already super filling for me. They did have XL and XXL, which featured even EXTRA HAPPINESS (READ: more meat and cheese). For me the highlight was surprisingly their iconic Toasted Dutch Crunch Roll, YES THEIR BREAD! That golden-brown crust on top was perfectly crispy with hint of sweetness, somehow reminding me of HongKong Bolo Bun (IYKYK!).

Such a bomb sandwich!! Got the xl size Santa Monica sandwich and was able to split it between two people. So jam packed with contents and the flavors went so well together. Basically a perfect sandwich! I highly recommend!

Got the turkey sandwich today at work... pepper jack cheese and peppered turkey with a Chipotle style sauce I think. The owner is super nice and we all very much enjoyed every bite! Thank you so very much!!! The bread is hearty and can hold up to the mass amounts of fillings, meats, cheese and veggies that you will demolish. Wonderful service and I highly recommend for both an individual and a large group. A tasty variety of chips to choose from as well. High-quality and fresh! Definitely recommend!

There are only a handful of these left, and this is probably the best. I've been coming here a couple times a year since the 90's and still love it. They have a big menu with a lot of good stuff but they are most famous for the pastrami. It's incredible. A couple of us have been on a pastrami quest the last year or two hitting all the top spots in LA and NYC and this might be the best out of the 20 or so places we compared. Langers is a time capsule - it's unchanged mid century vibe is perfect. They are very fast with the orders, servers are so on top of refills and pickles. This place is a well oiled machine. Tons of people come but they move them in and out quickly. I've been here when there was a line down the street, but they keep it turning over. I've also walked in and sat right away, it's lucky of the draw. The have a counter or small booths and tables. I hopped in my 2017 Rav4, threw on Daft Punk, rolled the windows down, and had a spiritual drive to Langer's in downtown LA. I arrived and circled the block a few times, as I was back in a fight for my life to find parking. A uniquely Angelino experience. Frustration percolated. Breath Johnny, Breath. I finally found a spot a half mile walk away. I stepped out, paid for parking, and set off on the journey to Langer's. What a journey it was. It is rough down here. Living in New York for 4 years made me forget. It felt like skid row. The city just must not care. Junkies slumped, needles on the ground, and a mix of unidentified smells that amalgamated to form one of the most unpleasant odors to ever hit my nostrils. I waged through the unwelcomed scents, making sure to not look anyone in the eye, and finally made it to Langer's. I opened the door to a safe house amidst the downtown LA streets. The horrifying odor became a distant memory, with the smell of fresh, savory pastrami stepping in. I put in an order for takeout, and pulled out a book while I waited. I'm doing this thing where I keep a book on me at all times, so that everytime I pull out my phone to scroll, I read instead. Why? Because I'm better than you. As I was deeply enthralled with my novel, a man in a suit came up and asked if I was all set or needed anything else. What a touch. White glove service is a dying breed, and him just caring about the customer gave me little butterflies. I got my hot pastrami on rye ($24), and set off to MaCarthur park right across the street for a place to grub. I should have known that the park would be the exact same as the streets surrounding it, but the hopeless optimist in me was doing his thing. I took a lap around the park and quickly realized it was about the last place I would ever want to sit and enjoy a meal. I made the journey back to the Rav4, and took it to a park 20 minutes away that I knew was optimal. This sandwich was incredible. The rye bread was hearty with a crunchy crust, and the pastrami was so tender it truly melted in your mouth. It was a nice moment. Sitting in the park with this pastrami sandwich, just because I wanted to. When was the last time you really did something for yourself, and only because you wanted to do it? Sometimes, being selfish is the answer. Take care of yourself. Spend time with yourself. You're all you have at the end of the day. Langer's was the 2nd best pastrami sandwich I've had behind Katz's. The pizza was huge, flavorful, and super satisfying--even if it could've used a tiny bit more time in the oven for that extra "well-done" crisp. Regardless, we left stuffed and happy. Nothing succeeds like excess. In fact, most people will need a take out box for one less meal to cook. Delicatessen means delicate eating in German, but at a Jewish American Delicatessen, the emphasis is on the Eating, which I am not complaining. 1) I requested an off menu item of having a Reuben sandwich where half is Corned Beef and the other Pastrami. Brent's Reuben has warm Sauerkraut, grilled Rye bread, melted Swiss Cheese, 1,000 Island dressing. Thinly sliced, multi-layered Mound of Pastrami is a bit on the dry side. Curing doesn't create a deep meaty Umami and spicing is present but attenuated. The Corned Beef is moister with bit more Umami & plush, thin multi-layered red colored meat. I have to say the Pastrami at Langer's is cured more intensely to bring out a deep Umami as well as more complex and complementary spicing of especially warm spiced cloves that adds aromatic richness. Brent's Pastrami doesn't seem to reach that kind of apotheosis. 1b) I asked for the steak fries to be fried two minutes longer for a crisper finish which was honored. Not much in way of that distinctive potato earthiness, but acceptable. 1c) Coleslaw is mayonnaise based, watery, bland, but a good cruciferous, fibrous veggie to add more fibre, healthful phytochemicals to counter the meat overload even though it isn't flavourful 2) Carrot Cake is closer to a delicate, dense, moist spice cake. A slice is enormous since it is cut from an extra tall cake studded with crushed walnuts and a cream cheese like not too sweet frosting. At $14 it could feed 4 people. Service is fine. They take your order and run with it. Bit of tunnel vision where it may be a bit hard to flag them down. But the job does get done. Overall 3+ stars

Overall one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. A must visit if you're in the area.

Popped into Factor's for Sunday breakfast, and realized I'd been away too long. Why? Well, it's…read morealways been a welcoming, well-managed place with good service and even better food -- and my living a little bit of a ways away shouldn't have kept me from enjoying as much as we did. At about 10:45am, it was busy but not crazy crowded, so we were seated immediately by a happy, friendly teen who may have been a family member or just someone they've taken under their wing. Either way, the youthful greeting helps establish that family feeling that's always relaxing. I ordered a bagel with cream cheese and sliced sturgeon, which is a serious treat here in Los Angeles, where hardly any place carries sturgeon. The portion was ample, the fish was fresh, moist and tasty, and it made for a very satisfying (and filling) breakfast. It should also be stated that this hard-to-find dish is always somewhat pricey, but at $25, Factor's is practically a bargain, and a full $9 CHEAPER than Art's in Studio City. My wife opted for eggs with baked salmon on the side -- again, fresh and generous, and very tasty. And again, $10 cheaper than at Art's. I mention the prices simply because eating a good deli breakfast has become more of a luxury these days, and finding a place that delivers top-notch food and service with less of a slam to the wallet makes a difference. If you haven't been to Factor's, or haven't been in a while, it's time to discover (or rediscover) a great deli serving great food. I'll be back soon for lunch... in fact, I'm checking my watch to see if it's lunchtime yet.
