This place is so good! I love their harvest veggie sandwich. I added mayo and some other veggies to mine as well and I changed the cheese to pepper jack it was perfect. My friend got The melrose and he said it was really good too. The only thing I wish is they had different bread options as the Dutch crunch can be a bit much. Other than that very solid sandwich spot

Was craving a sandwich and I was so glad to see this place pop up nearby! I ordered The Melrose from the very friendly man working at the register and it came out pretty quickly. All the ingredients were fresh, the cheese was melty, the amount of sauce was perfect, and the Dutch crunch bread was both soft and crispy. This is a minimalist shop with some tables and chairs, and it seems like many people order takeout. Since this restaurant is on Melrose, I just parked in the neighborhoods.

Solid sandwich options within the Melrose District. they have premium meats, hot + cold sandwiches and homemade sauces! We ordered their Melrose and the Firebird. Both came packed with ingredients between two Dutch crunch slices of bread. You get both sweet and savory! Ghost Sando offers 3 different sizes for your convenience, ranging anywhere from $11-$18.

I ordered the XL Kickin Chicken. It was a very full sandwich with lots of meat and the chipotle adobo spread was good. The order was made quickly

This is BY FAR one of my favorite sandwich spots in Los Angeles! Everything about the sandwiches here is absolutely perfect - from the perfectly crunchy dutch bread, to the generous toppings and ingredients in each sandwich that is both filling and yet also not overpowering in any way. It's an unassuming exterior for the most part - but within, the seating is ample for anyone wishing to dine-in. I've also experienced nothing but the BEST service and friendliness on all of my visits to this establishment. They have both hot & cold sandos, although my personal favorite remains their main staple - 'The Melrose'! Delectably delicious with plenty of creaminess, flavor, and texture. Nothing overpowers other ingredients. I love that!! When in the LA area, I highly recommend making a stop at the Ghost Sando Shop!

I stopped by this week on my lunch break. It was very difficult to locate. The signage wasn't very obvious. I passed right by it. I ordered a club sandwich and a bag of chips. The chips were not it. I wish they carried frito lay options, but that's a personal preference. I had very high hopes for my sandwich. The crunch bread itself is what I was really looking forward to. It was a little underwhelming. My sandwich had tons of lettuce and not enough protein. I had to take some of it out. It tasted like water lol. I did like the avocado spread, that was a nice touch. Maybe it was an off day?

It's so fun that most of my friends know how much I've been in love with sandwiches and they keep all those great recos coming my way! Recently my collegue who's also a sandwich fan, recommended me Ghost Sando. It's interestingly felt like confirmation sign given I've had it on my list, just haven't put it on priority list. July 4th it is, my first attempt trying Ghost Sando. It wasn't overly busy around noon, but I could see a ton of people ordered ahead online. The bright turquoise themed spot was like Tiffany's but made it sandwich place LOL. I've been going through people's review on the place, which were pretty diversed in terms of the top reco; some were from the hot selections, some the cold ones. Knowing their menu was pretty rich, it's such blessing that the attendant was super helpful in trying to explain and assisting me making choice. Apparently the difference between hot and cold wasn't the matter of one being toasted and other not (per my guesstimate), but more about the stuffing (protein & cheese) each featured. I went for the 'Howdy', which was served with uber generous amount of chicken breast slices and thick cut bacon. I felt I did get good balance on my veggie doze there looking at the equally thick layer of lettuce it carried. This one came with their Howdy sauce, basically the house's sweet barbeque, along with melted mozzarella cheese. If you're fond of the kind of sandwich with rich toppings and only light touch of sauce, this would definitely be your cup of tea. Overall it was delightful, but if I could I would fancy slightly more cheese there. Size to prize was certainly worthy IMO as their standard Large size was already super filling for me. They did have XL and XXL, which featured even EXTRA HAPPINESS (READ: more meat and cheese). For me the highlight was surprisingly their iconic Toasted Dutch Crunch Roll, YES THEIR BREAD! That golden-brown crust on top was perfectly crispy with hint of sweetness, somehow reminding me of HongKong Bolo Bun (IYKYK!).

Such a bomb sandwich!! Got the xl size Santa Monica sandwich and was able to split it between two people. So jam packed with contents and the flavors went so well together. Basically a perfect sandwich! I highly recommend!

Got the turkey sandwich today at work... pepper jack cheese and peppered turkey with a Chipotle style sauce I think. The owner is super nice and we all very much enjoyed every bite! Thank you so very much!!! The bread is hearty and can hold up to the mass amounts of fillings, meats, cheese and veggies that you will demolish. Wonderful service and I highly recommend for both an individual and a large group. A tasty variety of chips to choose from as well. High-quality and fresh! Definitely recommend!

Very unique sandwiches. The bread is amazing. Fantastic ingredients. We had the Santa Monica and the Melrose. Highly recommend the sandwich shop if you're in the area.

DELICIOUS!! I am obsessed with this spot now. I visited for the first time yesterday. I ordered the vegetarian harvest 12 inch. I got the adobo sauce on the side. Ugh literally perfection. Been thinking of the sandwich non stop, can't wait to be back!! Also customer service was great! Despite them being super busy, slammed with online orders, they were still kind and helpful! Only downside to this location is they don't have restrooms, but definitely not a deal breaker!

Amazing sandwiches at this shop I got it delivered to my work for the week end They had a deal you buy one you get one free Delicious meat on delicious bread and all very fresh

Stopped by after seeing on Yelp that they use Dutch Crunch bread--I was hoping the sandwiches would be similar to Subculture in Huntington Beach. I ordered the Firebird with pastrami turkey, chipotle Gouda, jalapeño pepper jack, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, and onions on Dutch Crunch bread with chipotle mayo and BLAST spread. The sandwich definitely comes loaded with meat, but mine felt a bit dry. Also, the Dutch Crunch bread didn't taste as fresh as Subculture's. I was disappointed--I was expecting it to be better based on the positive reviews on Yelp.

I got the caprese, which was the fan favorite. The monaco (tuna sandwich), which was spicy and tasty. I also got the fiorelli which didn't seem like as much of a crowd pleaser but was still decent. Myself and some others were not a fan of the lemon preserve but with those removed the sandwiches were great.

I preferred my sandwich because I loved the crunch from the pistachios and the sweetness that came from the jam. It was a good size - I only ate about half and saved the rest for later. I originally thought that the amount of guanciale was lacking but it was still an overall well balanced sandwich so I didn't mind while eating. I enjoyed the mushrooms that came in the Colucci but wanted more of the eggplant flavor to come through. For both, I could tell the quality of the ingredients itself and the freshness of the bread - which is KEY! I also got a nutella canelé (which I've never tried) and that was the perfect sweet treat to end off my meal. DEF RECOMMEND! Before you even come in, you can smell the focaccia baking. I came here on a Saturday around 11am and there was no line - it took about 10 minutes to get my sandwiches and there was ample seating inside and out. Street parking was fine - metered and non metered spots all around. Would come again if i'm in the area!!

The restaurant is billed as French-Vietnamese and previously offered pho and related fare but did not have these options on our visit. Our family came on a Saturday evening after an afternoon in the mall. I got the Ahi Tuna burger ($18), a substantial slab of Ahi Tuna steak on a bun with a wasabi mayo and paired with perfectly crispy, well salted frites ($5). We also got the French lobster roll ($26) a decent, but not groundbreaking, sandwich with a spicy sauce. One of our children got the tomato soup ($10) which was phenomenal - creamy and tomatoey - and paired well with grilled cheese. The cafe was clean and positioned with a great view; service was good too, with the waitress making suggestions and accommodating our children's special requests. Prices, as listed above, were excellent for the quality and quantity of food provided in an otherwise quite expensive area. Yeah, that was me and my mindset when I was out at the Beverly Center back in August. Hey! It was lunch. I was hungry. & Nicolas Eatery was there to handle all my needs. And just like Napoleon Bonaparte would have done... I strolled in, I walked straight to the bar top, sat down, placed my napkin in my lap, ordered a burger, a side of fries and of course L.A's FINEST tap water. And just like that, instead of following trends... I was setting them! So what did I get you ask?? Le Beverly Burger of course!! FOOD Bubble Waffle with Pistachio Gelato (5.5/5): Omg! I didn't know they have egg waffle here as well. It's a classic Hong Kong street food that I grew up with, you don't really see it around. The egg waffle is tasty, it doesn't taste bland and not overly seasoned (it has the egg custard-y taste, not too sweet), and it has a light crisp outside. I had a gelato to pair with it. The pistachio flavor is yummy, it has chopped pistachio nuts inside so the texture is rich. If you have a sweet tooth, pair it with a scoop of gelato, they compliment each other well. *finish the gelato first so it doesn't make the egg waffle loose it's crisp Pastrami Brisket Sandwich (5/5): They recommended me the Pastrami Brisket Sandwich and the prosciutto one, I haven't had lunch so I went with the pastrami- it was good. The bread is pretty soft and it's decently portioned, you could share the sandwich. It's a simple sandwich that's healthy and flavourful, you don't feel heavy after eating it. I like that it's not messy to eat (not overly saucey)! They hold the fillings with the little wooden sticks.
