Best teriyaki and spicy chicken I've ever had! This is my #1 favorite place to go for teriyaki! I recommend to try it out!

I went I to bentos last night to pick up an order I called in. As I walk threw the door thr lady behind the counter covered in tattoos on her arms and neck walked out from behind the counter made a snorting sound and for about 2 mins decided go wipe down the tables that were already cleaned. She came behind the counter and rudely asked "what do you want" I said I was there for a pick up she said "oh that's you" as I handed her my card she ran it then almost threw my card back at me I had to catch it. The whole time she was rolling her eyes scratching her hair and wiping her nose. I will not be returning to this place when koto is across the road . read more

Looks can be deceiving. We didn't expect much from this small shopping center restaurant as it looks quite plain, but when the food came out we were blown away. The tofu soup is bomb and can be make vegetarian. The teriyaki and tempura plates are humongous and good for 2 meals. Everything was delicious! I was very disappointed in our meal tonight. We've eaten here a lot and this is the first time it was bad. The chicken fried rice was not up to standard for this place. Rice tasted greasy. Usually nice and fluffy or dry, not greasy. We also ordered chicken teriyaki and shrimp tempura dinner. The tempura was soggy and greasy. I've never had such bad dinner there before. We were also given a side order of brown rice instead of substituting our white rice for brown like we ordered. All around bad meals tonight. read more

The food is generous portions and amazingly yummy. However, the place has been dirty and gross the last couple times I went. The last time I went, my arm stuck to the table enough that I had to peel it off. It was disgusting. Also my husband got food poisoning. We called the health dept. Just received the worst service of my life. I have been previously yelled at by the cook behind the counter that I should "just fucking order it like it's on the menu" when I tried to add tofu to a veggie stir fry. His name is Mikey and he is the most unpleasant person I have ever encountered in this whole town! And just now he yelled AT MY MOM to "order off the fucking menu" because she asked to have chicken added to a tofu stir fry (or at least put off to the side!). Even saying something a fraction more polite about not being able to make that order would have been okay, but instead his first go to is to tell a customer to "order off the fucking menu"?!? I'm absolutely disgusted and will never spend my time or my money on this place again. I wish I could give zero or negative stars because I absolutely would. read more

For anyone who grew up in the greater Seattle area, they know that teriyaki is a big part of the local food culture. Imagine my surprise though when I found this gem all the way out in Sequim while on a my way to Olympic National Park. Quality ingredients and comfortable dining area. Food not bad, not great, I just called and ordered from them because the better places are closed on Sundays such as Galare Thai, etc. The girl who answered asked if she could put me in hold, but there is no hold and she put the phone down and there was god awful noise including tons of people and some guy hammering, probably sushi I guess, but it about broke my ear drums. We went in for Teriyaki Chicken, and were happy to find that it was available as a lunch special. Large portions for a decent price (7.99 lunch special), and you can get brown rice for a dollar more. I like the food. They also serve a few Korean dishes, which taste great. I do not have to pay anything extra for salad or rice. It is included in the price. Portions are large. Also, I can designate how spicy I want it from 1 to 5. There is no extra charge. The posting about the teriyaki chicken seems a little odd to me because teriyaki is not a spicy dish normally. We went there last week. While waiting for our to go order, I had the chance to look around. This resteraunt is very filthy! The chairs, floors and condiment bottles on the table look like they haven't been cleaned for months. Flies were flying around the resteraunt also. Two of the cooks came from the back to get a drink from the soda fountain. Their shoes were covered in black grease! And one of the cooks or owners jacket was greasy as well. If they can't switch out their grease laden shoes, one can not expect a clean kitchen! Our appetite was lost and we will never go there again. read more

We LOVE this place! Go there usually once a week. I like the daily lunch special, which is 8.95. I always have food to take home left over. I put some of the chicken in a salad next day. If you eat there you get a lot more food than if you get it to go. My only negative is that I wish they would fix the place up a bit. I wish a 'Flash Mob' would come in at night & paint the place. It could use a little sprucing up, as much as Sequim could. Maybe a flower box outside & clean the fingerprints off the door. It doesn't look that great but the food is. If they remodeled though, the price would go up.... One of the few reasonably priced places in our area. read more

Most folks come here for chicken teriyaki, but I come here for the spicy beef brisket soup. The portion is huge and it's so delicious! I also enjoy chicken yakisoba and chicken teriyaki. I normally ask for them to use white meat instead because I have had done chewy pieces of dark meat before and that was gross. I also wish they'd change the mayo based salad dressing. It literally tastes like watered down mayo with sugar added to it. read more

I love the food here and come quite often. Why I give them one star is because on four different occasions we have driven in to town around 8-8:30pm to specifically get Bentos but even tho the website and the sign on the door says they close at 9pm the door is locked and the employees inside are closing the restaurant! If you want to change the hours then do so but don't advertise 9pm and then close an hour to an hour and a half early! Lost my business! read more

Very disappointed I've had it there before and it was much better no flavor at all on the stirfry only a half portion of salad that was water poured water out of the bottom of the container and way too much rice also very greasy I don't know why they have so much oil congealing on the bottom of a stirfry read more

Just a mediocre teriyaki place... alot of business but, it's Sequim so, it's slim pickings for teriyaki. I got the shrimp skewer teriyaki and it had no flavor and shrimp was over cooked. Workers look like they're in their street clothes. The only thing that is good are the bubble teas. read more

Food is great I give the food 5 stars , but they have 1 girl there working that should not work with the public she is so rude and rolls her eyes at her customers I have experienced this myself . I called at about 8:20 for a to go order (they close at 9) they only thing they were serving was chicken teriyaki because they decided to close the wok early. So I order what they had. when I got there I didn't look at my food until I was gone. ( it was just a quick food stop in the way to our destination) when I did look at the food there was a long black curly hair in my food so I called to complain and see what they were going to do about it just to find out they won't do anything u could imagine how upset I was spending 30$ on food that I didn't even get to eat who does that? The ambiance isn't anything to write home about, but the food and service sure is. Had an excellent Bento there last night and it came about as close to casual dining in Japan as I've had in a very long time. The staff is obviously eager to please and the place is immaculate. A pretty full menu of Japanese and Chinese food the way Americans like it. Generous portions, economically priced. They seem to have adopted the Japanese tradition of delivering food when it's ready, not when everything for the table is ready. Result, everything is hot, as it should be. Went here after a Home Depot employee suggested them and we were not disappointed! I got the bulgogi and salad (instead of kimchi), my husband got the generals chicken and my son got the chicken breast teriyaki. All were delicious and I can't wait to go back! read more

Bentos ROCKS!! My whole family, plus friends and co-workers are regulars..they are fast, friendly, and the food is great. You get a HUGE plate of food...and sorry..but whoever wrote that you pay extra for the salad, has their teriyaki places mixed up. It comes with the meal, and is not extra. Anyone visiting our area? Delicious teriyaki! This place is amazing, love all the teriyaki they make (especially the spicy chicken teriyaki!!) and the Bento & Korean options are fabulous if you're looking for variety.
