Service at this establishment was subpar. We arrived for late dinner around 9:15pm. Our waitress didn't approach our table to bring us water/ checkin until 9:30pm. We ordered the Calamari appetizer which was decent. By 9:50 ish she returned to the table to take entree/drink orders. We ordered 2 dishes, the Limoncello Farfalle and the Chicken linguine carbonara. We tried the passion fruit mojito and basil strawberry martini. Our entrees were ordered and we continued talking and enjoying our appetizer. Several tables around us filled up with new guests and we still hadn't gotten our food. By 10:20, ALL of the tables that were seated after us had already received their food and were wondering by what what going on. Our server NEVER came over to check in with us or provide an update. By 10:30 and still having received no food, we had to ask another server to find our server and send her over. She comes at 10:33 and her excuse was " the food is taking so long tonight" and we mentioned that all the other tables seated after us received their food before us and she said it was because "they just ordered noodles and sauce" . Completely floored by her lack of care or interest in trying to remedy the situation we asked for the manager. (And I hate to be that person, but it had to be done) The Manager comes over and just listens to us and offers a free dessert to make up for terrible service. We declined as we just wanted our food. Our food arrived to our table at 10:45pm. The restaurant closes at 11. By this time all the other tables around us have cleared out and we're the only table on our side of the restaurant. They began rushing us to finish. Overall a really disappointing experience for a restaurant we had on our Must Try list for weeks before we came to PR. The server brings the bill and then stands over us to pay it immediately. The manager gave us a 20% discount. The food was fine but the service here made this experience awful. I recommend having a reservation but depending on the size of your group, the wait might not be too long. plus La Concha is right next door so you can go play in the casino while you wait! the outdoor seating area is so warm and photogenic. I also went with my grandma (& friends) on my birthday and she of course told the world it was my birthday and the staff was super sweet about it and brought out a slice of chocolate cake with a sparkler for me. Serafina is a bougee, classy spot for a celebratory dinner - we came with a group of 15 ladies during a bachelorette trip, but it's a nice place to celebrate a birthday, engagement, etc. as well - but don't expect the food to be the highlight. We made reservations over the phone over a week in advance which I highly recommend as Serafina was packed on a Friday night for dinner. Decor is upscale and gives fancy vibes. I had a virgin pina colada that was the best thing I tasted - super creamy and coconutty, and not icy at all (which I prefer), I would get this again. For mains I tried the Ravioli Tartufo (good but not great, maybe that's because I don't love truffle overload), but the portion was very very small (6ish ravioli pieces for $31). A friend got the Ravioli Porcini which I liked much better, but again the portion was very small for the price even despite knowing places like this usually have high prices and small portions. Another friend was extremely underwhelmed by the bland Penne Arrabbiata and mediocre VIP Margherita pizza (too much sauce, not enough cheese, little soggy). I do love that Serafina has many vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options - there's several things to choose from! TL;DR - Come as a treat for a special celebration, and stick to the ravioli but expect portions to be small and prices to be high. read more

At this point I shut down from the way I was being talked to and how my being gluten free was being treated. I am understanding when gluten free cannot be accommodated, but it is never okay to make someone feel this uncomfortable because of a dietary restriction. read more

Was in town for a conference, and the uber driver mentioned that this was a good restaurant to try that's down the street from our hotel. So, of course, we went! We didn't have a reservation, so there was a bit of a wait - I want to say we waited about 20-30 minutes, but even then it was just for an opening at the bar. But we were ok with it, so proceeded to the bar. Tasted one of their cocktails - Tropical Explosion- and it was fruity and refreshing. Also had the calamari - which was fresh, seasoned, and crispy (aka Delicious!). At the recommendation of the bartender, I got the Tagliolini al Pollo and it was also very delicious! The service was a little slow, but it was also packed and the bartender was making a LOT of drinks as well. I loved the ambiance - it was not too loud, but it was lively and buzzing with excitement and people. The weather was perfect and the vibes were well set. We got here right when they opened for lunch after seeing the enticing photos online. The restaurant is beautiful with both indoor and outdoor seating. Since it was not busy we got to pick our seat which is always nice. Unfortunately, the oven wasn't working so we couldn't get the pizza we wanted, but the food we got was yummy! Vodka pasta- we got this without bacon and added shrimp. It was so good. They gave a really healthy portion and weren't stingy on the shrimp! Warm goat cheese salad- Unfortunately, the goat cheese wasn't warm and I think there could have been more. It was tasty, but for $20 was a bit expensive for what we got Jalapeño margarita- standard jalapeño margarita, but still good. Overall, 4 stars. Tasty, but pretty expensive. What I got was a soggy, lukewarm bite that tasted like someone gave up halfway through the recipe. I usually love salty food, but this was borderline going to clog my arteries and send me to the hospital. As for the main dish, we ordered a carbonara pizza, I genuinely wish I could forget. It was greasy, lacked flavor and somehow managed to offend both pizza and pasta in one dish. I'm still searching for the cheese that was supposed to come on it. Disgusting is not a word I use lightly -- but here, it fits. Came on a Sunday for a 7:15pm rsvp. The place was busy and there was a line to check in. We didn't wait long for our table. We sat outside. Our waitress was lovely. I ordered the surf and turf. The menu stated lobster tail but I got a claw and the lobster was tough as hell. The filet mignon was over cooked and looked like a bad cut. I've had filet mignon plenty of times before and it did not look the way it looked at this restaurant. The risotto was delicious and the highlight of my meal. We came here for lunch while stay in Condado. We chose to sit outside. It seemed slow, but our food took really long to come out. I have the risotto and it was delicious, but I should have listened to our servers recommendations and added a protein because it wasn't filling by itself. My boyfriend got the branzino which paired with the potato's and vegetables was very filling. Luckily, he let me have some. There was no fault to the restaurant, but the women's room had two stalls, and there was a line that I stayed for about 5 minutes since I saw our food arrive. The one stall apparently had no tissue, and the other stall had like 4 people in it. The others in line apparently had been waiting for a while before I arrived. The lobster ravioli was good but a bit salty, definitely better with chili flakes. My fiancé dish was packed with seafood, and overall, he said it was good. The larger piece of lobster was a bit overcooked. The meatballs were bland and not that great. We were in the park for a salsa class and the instructor suggested this place. It was my husband's birthday and we hadn't made any reservations as we weren't sure of our plans. Spaghetti squash - rating 4.5/5 My first try of such a vegan dish. Loved it. I was wondering that it would be sweet but it wasn't. The tomato sauce and mixed veggies along with pine nuts made it quite satisfying Orecchiette pasta - rating 5/5 Loved this pasta. Especially the sauce was so flavorful - I have hardly have pastas that win my heart so much and this was among the few I will remember for a long time! Came with spicy sausage, broccolini, garlic, red pepper flakes as ingredients that elevated the experience for us. This restaurant is smack dab in the middle of Condado. It is connected to the casino/hotel. The ambiance and the music were good and it creates a nice relaxing atmosphere. A lot of people chose this place to celebrate an occasion. It was like a place to celebrate without being near the beach. Even though this place was only a couple blocks out from the Condado beach. We didn't have reservations but got a table within 20 something minutes for 4 people. As soon as we got in, we were seated and had our food out quickly. One pizza had to be redone since they messed up, but they told us and was upfront about it. The other dishes came out quickly. The food is good. The cheese is freshly grated and the service was spot on. I enjoyed this place thoroughly. The pizza wasn't special or it doesn't make me love this place, but it was fresh and well made. For $20 for the Primavera, I think that was fair. It was made in the stone fired oven and it wasn't overly greasy like the chain pizza places. I got what I paid for and that's a good feeling to have. I hate busy places that add gratuity to the bill. I don't even know who my waitress was because she would disappear for long periods of time. We waited over an hour for salads and pasta. After being disappointed with Puerto Rican restaurant food, this place didn't disappoint with flavor. Ordered the penne a la vodka, bow tie pasta and the spaghetti all packed with flavor. I do think that for the price they should have given us some complimentary bread or bread sticks but that just might be an American thing. The pizzas also looked amazing from everyone around us.
