I found Dr. Odetunde online and called for an appointment. The secretary wasn't the friendliest, but she was still definitely nice. To my surprise, Dr. Odetunde was available for basically any time slot I wanted. At first, this worried me a little bit. After all, shouldn't a good doctor have a lot of other patients to see? I chalked it up as luck and scheduled an appointment for the next morning. The office is located right off of 610, just west of the Bennigan's and Ford dealership (right around Fannin I think?), in one of those huge office buildings. I didn't wait long at all, and Dr. Odetunde ended up being one of the nicest doctors I've ever met. She immediately figured out my problem (spasms) and sent me off with a couple of prescriptions and an x-ray order. After this visit, I saw her again for some sleeping problems and some injuries I got in a car accident. She remembers her patients and is very knowledgeable. I recommend her to anyone :) Now that I'm living in Ft. Worth, I miss having her as my doctor, even though I only saw her for a couple of months!

What I don't appreciate is when medical practitioners get offended when you ask questions, or challenge theories when it comes to your own health. It is my body and my life, I think every patient should ask questions and challenge conventional theories. I have a thyroid issue. I am trying to find ways to heal it. I have been seeing Dr. Horsefield for maybe 5 years now, and have noticed passive aggressiveness before... but what I recently experienced is clearly unacceptable. I saw him for my regular annual appointment 3 months ago. My TSH levels were too high, so I got on some thyroid supplements and we retested about 6 weeks later. The results came in and the TSH levels were too low. I have since readjusted my medication and sent him an email politely asking if he could order the bloodwork to retest my levels so I can ensure i am now healthy and found the right balance. His response was callous. I have attached a photo with the passive aggressive response, where he makes it clear that he wont put the test in the system because he doesn't get paid for "answering emails, ordering tests, reviewing tests, communicating test results and maintenance of records" ..... REALLY? Aren't those tasks associated with being a doctor? I would be happy to pay him, for me it isn't about the money at all. In addition, clearly SOMEONE is getting paid when I order these lab tests because I'm charged thousands of dollars for them. All I need though is the bloodwork.... and he doesn't have availability for 2 months!?! I'm extremely disappointed that someone in the healthcare field is so much more concerned about their wallet than their patients health. Also if he wanted to charge me a processing fee that is fine, but his solution is clearly not in my best interest to wait 2 months and potentially do irreversible damage to my body.

She doesn't even bother to give you eye contact . Very dismissive . Kirby location . At the sw freeway location they're always late . I was never given life threatening information and the Nurse practitioner lied and said she told me . I'm very healthy conscious anything that is preventable I fix . While calling about a prescription I'm casually told about the life threatening issue and told it's very serious and I can't take it lightly . Ok if it's so serious why didn't anybody tell me ? Which goes back to the Nurse Practitioner lying . So then I go to Kirby office which is inconvenient because they claimed it couldn't wait . I get there at 9:45 am . My appointment was for 10:30 . I finish with two tests and they tell me the ultrasound person is not here because of personal issues and won't be in until 12 and there is a line of people ahead of me . That's not my problem . This practice seems to bite off more than it can chew. I've been a patience for about 3 years,…read moresince leaving home for university. Although I am a patient of Dr. Knafo, I've only spoken to her 3 of the minimum 9 times I had appointments. The other visits I was seen by two other female doctors. Now this isn't a big issue if you are going for smaller concerns like check ups and well woman exams but I had a continuous stomach issue that the lack of consistency in visits very negatively effected. I ran the same tests multiple times and explained the same symptoms/reactions to the doctors each visit and we ran in circles. I understand this is a family practice and not a specialist, but at some point it's up to the doctors to admit they don't know and refer me to someone else. It took a year of this before I broke down crying and begged for them to refer me. I would like to commend Dr. Knafo on what she is TRYING to do. When I did get to meet with her she was very caring and serious about my mental health. ( I have anxiety and depression ) Although, I believe this effected her judgement a little too much, I often felt like she wouldn't take my other physical health concerns seriously until I started taking medication as she strongly urged for me to start taking lexipro whenever I saw her. I've been doing well with my mental health, and would often express to her the reason behind my being so wound up and on the verge of tears in her office is because I was a 19 year old college student battling a mystery issue and running the same tests every visit. Making appointments is easy, everything else over the phone is hit or miss depending on if they feel like taking your call at that time.

Never been to this location before. Only came because this was the closest location between another…read morelocation that could do some imaging as soon as possible. I really do not frequent Meyerland much so to see they not only had an HEB but a cliniic within the shopping area shows I'm a creature of habit and miss things like this being built. I really throught I knew where I was foing when I previewed the map before driving but a gps detour had me go through the med center and by the HEB I had never seen before, so I got mixed up quickly, but the clinic had been a snake, it would have bit me because its right off the corner of Beechnut and 610 Feeder. Parking was ample for a weekday morning but finding where to exactly go was not very helpful. As I entered in, no one was at the front desk. There were signs that the escalator waa broken and to use the elevator but where is that? I mean I was in a new place and I am directionally challenged yall- I needed a person to see and point me where I needed to go. Wasnt until I wandered around awhile and finally saw someone standing by the elevators that I noticed them. Once on floownd floor, I saw the place was packed and full-nothing the parking lot reflected. There was signage at the image department that said ro check in, but where??? I didn't want ro waste anymore time so I just asked someone sitting in that area about where to sign in. She politely pointed to around the corner. I thanked her and proceeded to sign in and verify my information. I had a form to complete before beeing seen so I rushed to complete it before bebeing called backeaI arrived a little before my time but was called back pretty quickly, which was great because I had to drive to another Kelsey Seybold location to complete part 2 of my examination. Once in tthe imaging room, I was greeted and directed every step of the way by the technician to get all the images they needed. In fact, I had to wait until the images were approved and that they didnt need any other views or positions before ai was released. Theyre very thorough and I appreciate that. Just need someone to be around to ask questions if its your first time here!
