This nail salon is decent, and I have been a client for years. In recent months, I have been disappointed in the quality of my gel manicures, which always have visible lumps on the surface. I brought this to the attention of one of the technicians, and this individual stated that this was normal and very typical of gel manicures. I was a bit insulted by this response as I know that it is standard protocol for professional nail polish finishes to exhibit a smooth, glass-like surface, free of bubbles and lumps. They need to improve this aspect of their process and own it instead of passing it off as a natural outcome of gel manicures. Your customers deserve better. read more

Walked in and signed in...they took us right away. We got mani and spa pedicures. Gel for the hands and regular polish for the feet. The chairs have a massage option. They let you chose your color...they dont make you rush. Their is a large selection to chose from. I went with #101 a deep midnight shimmery blue with matching pedi. 3 options for spa pedi. Add on callous remover. The water basin is clean with a cover....cool LED lights with bubble massage for the feet. They were gentle with cutting cuticles and trimming nails. They never once asked for any annoying add ons! Plenty of TVs to stare and watch. They massaged my arms and legs after. I had no problems with their services. While I have seen several nail techs in this salon and have always been happy with my results, Andy has been my nail guy for years at this point I've even driven to different locations to see him! His work is always perfect, super time effective and always has good energy! As long as he's in San Diego county I'll be there Ann gives THE BEST pedicures, very thorough and gentle - I stand 10-12 hrs a day for work and she saves my feet for real, and the massage is heavenly. She is also super sweet and I love that she makes me feel right at home! Another nail tech that stands out to me is Tina, I've only seen her a couple of times but she shaped my nail perfectly and was really time effective as well. Ask for Cindy. She's the best. The spa was very clean & professional. I didn't have an appointment but the wait was less than 2 minutes at 1pm on a Tuesday. The massage chairs were nice & the staff was friendly. My manicure & pedicure was $24 & $14 ($38 total). There was about 10-12 other customers here and all of us had our own nail technician which is important to me because sometimes I have to wait to soak my feet or hands while they're busy helping someone else. I go with my 90 year old mother and everyone greets her and is sure she can get around with out mishap located in the Otay Ranch mall there is always plenty of parking. If you have sensitive skin let them know and they will take care of you! Helen chose the perfect color from a picture I showed her. She was sweet and nice available Mon, Weds, and Friday. I got a new gel full set with long nails and needed to remove my old nails. It was a total of $49. Lee did my eyebrows. I warned her my eyebrows are different and usually other estheticians mess it up. I like mine arched and thin. She cleaned it up and did great.
