Painful as it is, I can not let a bad experience slide - I hoped for another outcome and I can assure you that this is so as I finger arrowed a croissant and a circular thin ring bagel type bread creation, Each had a plastic look - equipped with the shine that reflects the light from above - not the sun, but the buzzing fluorescents. Not to elaborate for fun but the food on display look like the stuff in the bowls in the cheap 5 and dime thrift store paintings. With this thought, I was thinking to order the Breakfast Special as the heat outside was hot and oppressive and I wanted to pop in and out as the sun was climbing in the sky and I patted my brow with a handkerchief as inside was also warm to the point of slight uncomfortableness. The egg was opaque white and shaped like a half a puck and would bounce with a flick of the wrist upon the wall and its slick texture kept me wiping my hands. Turkey and cheddar with an egg white - as my teeth sank into it the hard roll felt as if it was molded from a US Foods tray of plenty and sent out to be reheated and so it went on with the weird cheese, closer to a cheese whiz that anything sliceable and I felt the blood running to my temples as I tried all to make the best of the moment. The croissant and hoop earring bagel tasted pretty much exactly the same. Weird shiny glow outer coating, dry and whatever the opposite work of "flakey and soft" would be were exactly that and my throat closed a little further to try to tell me that this too might not get through without something wet to ride upon to get in and drop down. The single star belongs to the young girl that worked hard to serve properly and glint a smile with what she could muster with in a darkish - heavy air - slow business.

I pass this place to go to work everyday and I always wanted to try ! I WISHED I tried sooner ! This coffee was slamming! I got the pistachio iced coffee with almond milk and the first sip had me hooked. It really is that first sip hahah. The inside is so cute and the service was fast. I'm going to try to make it my on going coffee spot !

I sometimes attend a gym that's around 5 minutes from here so every time I'm driving home I see this cute little shop. I finally stopped and am sooo glad I did. I have zero clue what kind of coffee they have but oh my goodness it is sooo delicious. Ordered a sugar free iced latte with almond milk. I ordered a small and probably should have ordered a large because it was so good. They do have options to buy their coffee beans (not sure if ground or not). I think supporting local businesses is always good! If you're in the area and looking for good coffee this is the place to go. The service was very good abs quick!

    Round potato knish

Great coffee place for breakfast woth unique food options. My friend lives in Lindenhurst and we always struggle finding something for me to eat for breakfast since I don't want to eat bagels or toast for breakfast. I always crave potatoes, for breakfast. So I found this place on Yelp, and it's a neat find. It's really convenient since it's on the way on my commute off the Sunrise highway. Outside it looks kinda shabby, but inside the space is huge for a coffee shop. I ordered the cinnamon dolce cold brew, with a round potato knish. I was kind of confused because I didn't know understand why they had square potato knish, and round potato knishes. But looking at them the square one had a traditional fried outside, while the round one was more less traditional. The server said the round one had a bit more potato in it. So I opted for that one. The cold brew was prepared quickly and she didn't charge me extra for asking to make it with almond milk. It came to $3.50 for a small. The round knish was $3.99. And she gave me a warm tasty one. My total came to $8.14 with tax. I saw the giant spinach pinwheel that look like they're made with pastry dough rather than pizza dough and I definatly want to try them next time!

Very nice selection of drinks and baked goods. Very happy with my caramel macchiato, They do have seasonal drinks as well, make sure to check the board. They do offer almond milk for those who cannot tolerate lactose as well.

I have been eagerly awaiting for this place to open up for over a year! So happy it finally happened. As a truck driver who rides this road several times a day my coworkers & I always complain there is no place to stop for coffee on our way to the asphalt plant in Deer Park. So when I saw this place was about to open I got excited. Especially so because there's room for tractor trailer parking on the service road! That's epic for us! When I entered the building the decor grabbed me immediately. Honestly I'm not a big coffee drinker like most Yelpers. But I just may become one after walking in here. Nice offerings without being overwhelming. The donuts & pastries looked fresh & delicious although I didn't get any I will be sure to try some in the future. While sipping my iced coffee, which was full bodied & flavorful with my choice of milk. Yay! The owner Ibrahim came over to ask me if I liked it & what I thought. Turns out he's a longtime business owner in the same spot who has expanded his horizons. Then I bombarded him with how bad we need a place like this & a food place on this side of Sunrise Hwy. blah blah blah. He probably was like yeah yeah lady enough already. LOL. He was friendly & engaging & introduced me to his daughter. She seemed really sweet. I promised to visit more often & cant wait to see what this grows into. My only regret....... why didn't I think to do this! 6-11-2017

C.J.talked about this place so much I had to give it a try so I stop by today and boy I'm glad I did I got a cappuccino that was very flavorful and creamy I loved it and I also got a Boston cream donut and that was also very good They have just opened so they don't have a big Big variety yet but what they have is fresh an excellent.Bagels cakes and donuts looked freshly baked And the people waiting on you are very friendly and and so helpful it feels like they know you as a matter of fact the owner came from behind the counter and gave me the whole Lowdown of how we got started and how he goes to Columbia to order his own coffee beans and then he bakes them in the back and grinds them up so the coffee is very fresh and delicious PS plenty of parking in the parking lot and in the street for tractor trailers or trucks

    Fresh beans!

Finally made it into this gem of a coffee shop. They roast their own beans!!! Colombian beans. Espresso is medium roast just the way we like it. Some light fare and bakery. A little Colombian flare with some food selection. Going back for a Turkish coffee next time. Picked up an americano and beans of Course! Sweet staff clean facility. I'll be back!

I was a little hesitant after my first experience but they were listed in my LI Cafe Passport book I got for Christmas and I want to go to all the spots in that book even if I'm revisiting. My second experience was much better so I'm upping my review to 4 stars. The staff was nicer this time. I opted for a pour over because that's what the book recommended and I got the cherry vanilla latte as well with half and half. I was able to sit in the coffee shop because I had dropped my son off at a birthday party and had a little time before I picked him up. I caught up on watching Friday Night Smackdown before elimination chamber with headphones on of course so I wouldn't disturb other people and I finished a book I was reading. The seating was nice, an optional variety of different kinds of seats and lots of seating. The latte was very smooth, you could definitely taste the coffee more in the pour over but that was good, the coffee went down nicely, not a lot of bitterness. So Jack Jack's redeemed themselves in my eyes almost ten years after my first review and I would be able to recommend going to them. Babylon Bean will still be my favorite coffee shop in Babylon but both of them are nice to visit. Original Review: March 22, 2016 I came here after picking up my jacket from the dry cleaners. I didn't like it very much at all and am happy to say my heart and my business will continue to go to the Babylon Bean! The baristas did not seem happy at all when they helped me. They weren't rude but they weren't sweet or nice either. I chose a brownie to eat and got a cup of regular coffee. The coffee was okay, not horrid but for sure not great. The brownie was disgusting. I couldn't eat the whole thing ended up throwing it on the ground for the birds to eat. This place also has a hipster vibe, sometimes I can dig it but sometimes I can't. So in my personal experience if the babylon bean and this place had a throw down I would always favor the bean!

Born in Italy and trained by the best, making gelato isn't his job, it's his calling. You can taste that distinction in every single bite. Mike is constantly developing new recipes, hand-picking fresh fruit at the market, and importing specialty ingredients straight from Italy when he can't find what meets his standards locally. This is a man who simply refuses to cut corners. My family and I have been loyal customers for nearly 8 years, and what's remarkable is that it's just as mind-blowing today as it was the very first time we walked through the door. That kind of consistency is rare -- and it speaks volumes. Over the years, we've brought roughly 40 friends and family members here for the first time. Every single one of them has raved about it. That's not a coincidence. That's excellence. If you're visiting for the first time, do yourself a favor: try the rainbow cookie gelato. You can thank me later. And while many people get it to go, I suggest having it there. The shop is tastefully decorated, it's clean, it's comfortable. For fifteen minutes you'll think you're in Italy. Caffe Italia isn't just the best gelato in the county -- it may very well be the best you'll ever have. Don't walk. Run.

They have so many seatings and the vibe here is sooo good. I ordered the Nutty White Chocolate Latte with almond milk and it didn't occur to me to wait on the drink but rather went to the seat and take selfies with my good friend. Our cashier literally went out of his way and brought the drink over. Later the Batista also came over with the extra drink since they made extra with the regular milk. Overall, I enjoyed both drinks. I found the one with regular milk tasted so much better than the one with almond milk.

I got a regular coffee with half and half because I also got the crepe and wanted to not have sugar on top of sugar if I drank a sweet drink and had a sweet dessert. I ended up choosing a crepe, they had no dessert with peanut butter in it which would have been my first choice. The crepe was okay. I ate half of it and my boyfriend ate the other half when I saw him after coffee. I found this place to be just okay, I gave it 4 stars because it was good but it didn't wow me and I think they made it too trendy looking and too hyped up. The service was also very good the man who helped me answered my questions patiently. So I liked this place but wasn't really wowed by it.

Something different than these pastry shop chana etc. First off Terry was unbelievable sweet & friendly. He went out of his way to be helpful & patient with me because I couldn't decide on Flavors or the amount. I guess I am old school or maybe just plain weird but I really like making the HUMAN connection when I am out & about.... I feel like people just aren't very socia anymore ....for a number of reasons . ANYWAY , if you have not been to AhugaPie Shop you ABSOLUTELY MUST GO. So I guess most people would equate a sugar pie to a Whoopie pie. These sugar pies are pretty big and a half of one is more than enough. Terry told me some people buy them and cut them in half and freeze them and take them out as they want them. Which I think is a great idea and is which what I did because I do not live nearby, but I would definitely drive to the end of the Earth for more. It's just one of those places. And I am not a big sweet person put the cake is just always soft and flavorful and delicious. And the filling is the right amount of the flavor and whipped cream and sugar. I think they have like 10 or so flavors available every day and they switch them around. I've probably tried five or six different flavors over the past two years and again all of them were very consistently delicious and amazing. I can't even explain it . It's just perfect. I've had them a few times before when a coworker brought them in. And I finally got a chance to go myself. I was so happy to share the experience with my family.. personally I love the chocolate cake with the peanut butter filling. So if your peanut butter lover, OMG go go go!!! . The product is very consistent. They do have a very specific hours. And as Terry recommended, it's always best to call ahead and either order , check the flavors of the day . & or the shop hours. It kind of blew my diet, but it was well worth it.. please go you will not be disappointed.. the only negative thing I can say about my experience is I wish I had bought a more of a variety of flavors.
