I finally got the chance to order from here the other day, I placed an order over the phone to pick up. It was ready quickly in about 10 minutes. I ordered their cheese enchiladas with rice and beans. It also came with a side of chips and 2 sides of salsa. I enjoyed the rice and beans, as well as the chips and salsa. Not a single chip served was even warm, they were out of half the stuff we wanted to order, the nacho appetizer was missing half the ingredients and the cheese wasn't even melted. Located in a strip mall just off the main area of deer valley and the main highway. There were only 2 people when we arrived at 6pm. The food was flavorful and authentic. I ate here with a large party and everyone was so pleased with their meal--it really perked us up. We got to the restaurant tired, cold, and disheveled but by the time we left we were practically skipping out the door. We were seated right away and the food was brought out so fast no one had time to blink an eye. I got a fish taco, queso, guacamole, and a chili relleno! Such yummy tortillas, seasoning, beans--everything! (The limes weren't super juicy but who am I, the Queen of England?) Anyways, we all loved it and will surely be back ASAP!! Excellent friendly service, had the chile rellenos, carnitas tacos & chips & sampled alll the salsas at the salsa bar. Great little gem in Pc. This is the most authentic you're going to get in PC. Cleto our server was such a great guy, took good care of us. There are several specialities from Michoacán region on the menu, which you won't find at other Mexican places. While searching Yelp for something good to eat that was walkable from our hotel, we found Sergio's and decided to give it a try. This restaurant is very unassuming from the outside, and took a little to find, but we were so glad that we did because this is a great family run business with some seriously good Mexican food. We were quickly greeted and able to seat ourselves. Chips came out quickly and were really good, chips were crunchy and fresh and complimented perfectly by the many different Salsa's available at the salsa bar. Something for everyone, from mild to spicy and everything in between. This was followed by Enchiladas with Red Sauce for me, this tasted great and the sauce was hot/spicy in the best way possible. My wife had a Carnitas Burrito, smothered, and also with red sauce. We both very much enjoyed our meals, and I was even happier with the fact I had left overs for later - for which I'll also credit the afore mentioned chips and salsa bar :) Service was friendly, fast and very helpful. Add to this that the food was authentic, the beers were cold, and the interior was very inviting with the perfect ambience and I think it safe to say I have a new favorite Mexican restaurant, one I will definitely be visiting again on future visits to Park City. read more

What a disappointment!! Chips without salsa...(But they have a bar with extremely hot sauces, help yourself!!!). I had the Carne Asada/Steak plate. To call this "Steak" is an insult to meat! Our travel day got us into Park City a little after 4. We hadn't eaten since breakfast so we were hungry. After we checked into our resort, we searched yelp for a nearby Mexican restaurant and decided to give this one a try. One of the main reasons we came here was the salsa bar! I tried 4 different ones, including the habanero. They were all great with the exception of the pico de gallo which had too much lime juice for me. Same thing with the guacamole. However, the chicken enchiladas with all white meat and the chicken fajitas were very tasty. My plate was not terribly hot when I got it (the rice and beans mainly). I think they tried a little, but this place was relatively unaccommodating to the group I was with. Before going there, I called up to check whether they had options for vegetarians. The person on the phone assured me that nearly all of the menu items can be made vegetarian. When we got there, they were out of chille rellenos (the main vegetarian offering), and didn't have either spinach or mushrooms with which to make menu items vegetarian. One person in the party asked for fajitas without meat, and the waitress simply said, "that won't be good. I don't think you should get that." We were limited to bean and cheese burritos. What respectable Mexican restaurant does not have lime!!!? especially at those prices. *Portions were messed up (a tablespoon of salsa/sauce per baby size container) WASTE of plastic. *Rice and beans portion was was too small (seriously a few tablespoons of each). Quite surprising in comparison to the meat portion. *The restaurant was not very busy and our waitress disappeared. This was a good yelper's recommendation. We came for lunch so not a lot of people. Staff was friendly and helpful. The beers were cold! There is a decent salsa bar with several choices. The pico de gallo bowl was empty so had to wait for fresh replacement . We ordered the guacamole appetizer. That really didn't taste fresh even though the waitress said it's prepared there.. i wouldn't recommend it. I shared an order of steak fajitas and it was a mound of steak. The meat was nicely seasoned and really, 3 people could eat from that. The side of rice and re fried beans were very bland and cold. Overall, though, this was a great choice . Yes!!!! Rarely am I a giver of 5 stars, but Sergio's deserves it. Nice, clean, friendly atmosphere. The salsa bar is amazing!!!! I think I tried almost all of them and it's a flavor explosion. All are masterfully crafted. My favorite was the chipotle salsa. The chips were good too. Very fresh. It's hard to find good tortilla chips.....after living in Texas. For our main courses We had the carne asada and chicken mole. Both very good. This food totally took me back to Texas. No margaritas yet as their liquor permit wasn't quite ready, but I'd love to try them when they're ready. I am not from PC, but with the reviews of this and the other Mexican restaurants I can quickly see this place becoming an overwhelming favorite. My recommendations. A salsa bar happy hour with discounted Ritas/beer would be a hit. Also as far as my carne asada went I would have loved it chopped up a little. Just finished a meal here. Asked for sweet tea with lemon, she said no problem. Came back with unsweet tea and limes. We argued over the difference between limes and lemons... She actually didn't know. Chips were stale, sauces ok. Had enchiladas... one of each chicken (dry) steak (tough tiny black nuggets) and cheese (ok). Tortillas were too tough and stale to cut with a fork in places. Red sauce tasted like tomato sauce from a can. Not refried beans... PINTO BEANS! I Don't recommend this place. New restaurant in the old Lorenzo location next to the Holiday cinemas. I ordered the Albondigas soup and a Carne Asada taco. Tortillas are made fresh on site and are fantastic. Getting authentic Mexican food at a reasonable price close to town is really difficult. This is definitely worth a try. read more

Third time's the charm (hopefully) for Mexican food in this spot. Sergio's just may have found the right formula for what should be a great location. We stopped in for lunch on a Saturday and were pleased to find the place pretty full of Latino working guys and another family or two. My 17-yr-old son and I could not finish our meals. Generous portions. Very generous. First time at the place so we had to go with what they were most proud of: "Sergio's Famous Carnitas" did not disappoint and they deserve to be famous. Braised and tender deliciousness combined - perfect. Everything accompanying was above par, too. The salsa bar was excellent, fresh and spicy. The staff was friendly and efficient. The menu was plenty extensive enough, but not so much that it seems like attention to detail would suffer. Sergio's Authentic Mexican restaurant is a place to go to get some delicious Mexican food. I would recommend the fajitas if you want to have some of the best fajitas you've ever had! At three dollars, the tacos are a good will do fine, considering they are made with some pretty high quality ingredients that you might not find in your typical taco. All of this food is served authentic and in a Mexico-inspired setting. Overall, I give it 4 stars out of five. It has a little bit of pricier food than I'd want, but it's still worth it! Yelpers! If you are in town shopping, skiing, or doing who knows what else, and are needing some quality food. Sergios will hook you up. My family came in last Sunday and it was delicious. I got myself their carnitas Burrito. Comes with sides of rice and refried Ben's. Rice was excellent, beans were.. Meh. This Burrito though was loaded with meat. I asked them to top it with their green and red sauce, which both were incredible. It wasn't that garbage, store bought, canned sauce, oh no no. It was like the flavor God was introduced to sauce queen and they had babies. The horchata was pretty great. They also give out free refills with it, which is a huge plus in my book. The atmosphere was clean, lively, and appropriately themed. The only reason why I am deducting a point was their carnitas. Everyone was raving about their carnitas meat. I thought it was alright. Holy Mexican amazingness! My husband thinks this is the best Mexican he's had outside of Mexico! He said the seasonings are "ooof" and the tortillas were "wow". The portions are MASSIVE. The decried beans are a light pink versus the grey paste to which we've all become accustomed. The salsa bar is really fun and delicious. Yep, the most rude server with a serious case of lack of caring told us we should have come sooner (they open at 10). When the food arrived it was bland, tasteless, and lacked any sort of "presentation" factor. The rice and beans burrito did not have the requested cheese inside and arrived with a side of ...rice and beans... No sauce on the burrito as many places provide, so I asked for a side of sauce. I stated I was willing to pay for the additional item and would like mole. I received something that could very easily be tomato soup. It was awful. The shrimp and beef tacos were ok, but the chicken tinga taco was just mush with no chicken meat texture and seriously lacked taste. I have eaten at a fair number of local Mexican restaurants in ski towns. This one stands out as exceptional in that market space. Like many others, this one is in a strip plaza outside the town center (next to the local grocery store). The resemblance ends there. For starters, Sergio's offers a fresh salsa bar to go with the bottomless chip basket. All of the salsas tasted fresh and delicious, about eight varieties in all. Our food came promptly and was all fresh made. We had the shrimp fajitas and chile rellenos. Both were outstanding and plentiful. We walked away with two large entries for $26. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. In all, the best value meal we had while in Park City. Don't expect white linen service, but if you are looking for a delicious meal and a good price, this is your spot. read more
