After a morning of snowboarding in the cold, we snagged a table at the Pig Pen Saloon to take a break and refuel. Because this is a full bar, people under the age of 21 will not be allowed and I saw the waitress really cracking down on checking IDs. There's also no outside food and drinks allowed. Pig Pen Burger: To be honest, not a really good burger. Without ketchup or mayonnaise, it's dry and has no flavor. Comes with a bag of chips. Beer Cheese and Pretzels: A better option than the burger, although not quite as filling. Comes with 4 sticks and a side of beer cheese and mustard. I had to shake off some salt but a bite with some hot beer cheese really warms you up. We also tried some of their cocktails to warm ourselves up even more. They had some unique ones served inside plastic bags, almost like a Capri-Sun. I thought the purpose of the bags was so we could bring it out but there's no alcohol outside of the restaurant. It's pricey but expected since we were at a ski resort. Despite the negative reviews related to poor service, I thought our waitress was super friendly and nice. We were going to eat our own food but she nicely explained that it wasn't allowed and that was that. We didn't have any terrible experience. Just wished the food was better!

Cozy food with delicious wings and soft pretzels. They do a shot and a shirt deal for $20 which is fun and a pretty good deal! The staff are so friendly and accommodating and always ready with a great drink suggestion.

Delicious sandwiches!!! And great local beer on tap, the Moab IPA was a nice refreshing mountain beer, went phenomenally with the Home Run sandwich:) the chicken pesto was another amazing sandwich, great flavour combo:))

Very busy place but nice vibes and good music. Food is pretty good. Nice variety of cocktails. The chocolate chai old fashioned is not so chocolatey and pretty heavy on the whisky, so wasn't quite my cup of tea but the waitress and bartender were sweet and added extra chocolate syrup to make it tasty. Great place to stop for a snack or lunch/dinner while skiing in PC!!

This is a great place to come after snowboarding and skiing. I can't speak about the food but we had a great time here. It was packed inside and outside but we were able to score a table. Service was pretty fast even with how busy it was. We mostly ordered shots and beers but I did also order a peanut butter cup which was peanut butter whiskey and cocoa and it was soooo good. Perfect and tasty and warmed my insides. We also did the $10 shot & shirt. Almost everyone in the building had the shirt on! Lol.

The service and food is mediocre here but, I do enjoy their balcony seating. It's the perfect place to watch all the skiers and snowboarders making their way down the slopes. Makes you feel like you're in the mix without having your ski gear on. We use to sit here more often when our son was taking lessons because he'd pass by every time they got on the lift. .

My husband and I ate lunch here when we went skiing back in February. It's in a convenient location right off the main lifts, making it easy to stop in for a quick bite. The staff was friendly and attentive. I had the home run sandwich, which was very filling. The Mac and cheese and pulled pork were tasty, and it was nice that they gave extra BBQ sauce on the side. The sandwich also came with chips that I enjoyed. The interior did have some saloon-like decorations, but the overall ambiance of the restaurant felt more like a pop-up than an established fixture of the community. read more

Rating: 4.6/5 [dine in] We met up with our friends at The Pig Pen Saloon for lunch after a morning of skiing. They check IDs at the door before letting you in. The food and cocktails were surprisingly good, which made us wonder why the reviews are only average. Pig-O-Licious ($21.50): A half-pound beef patty topped with BBQ pork, cheddar, bacon, and pickles on a brioche bun, served with chips. The name is fitting since it was a delicious burger and perfect for sharing. I could not imagine finishing it on my own and still having energy to ski. The chips were crispy and well done too. The Influencer ($18): A delicious, well-balanced espresso martini. American Mule ($15): Made with High West bourbon. Easily one of the best Moscow mules we have had in a long time. It was refreshing, smooth, and really tasty. read more

This was my first time at the Pig Pen, and everyone in our group enjoyed it all. It's slope-side, so was a mix of us skiers doing the Apres thing, as well as others from the street. Crowd was a wide mix of ages as well. There's a huge wrap around porch many were enjoying, but since our week was mostly blue bird sunny Spring days, we took a break and sat inside (see pics). There was a wide selection of drinks, beers (incl. 5-6 on draft), and a few wines. We got a pitcher and some apps. I can highly recommend their Bflo wings which were cooked perfectly. Pig pan has been our Apres ski spot fir years. Since it is a bar, in Utah one needs to be 21 years old to enter. Apres ski menu starts at 3 pm. The chili cheese fries and nachos are favorites. They now have a special you buy a shot and you can get a T shirt for $10. read more

The best day to end a day on the snow is at pig pen! Their food is great and they have so many great drinks! My personal favorites are the hot apple pie and the liquid IV drinks. The pretzels with mustard and cheese are also a great option to order for a group! read more

If you want proper apres ski at the base of Park City Mountain, look no further than The Pig Pen Saloon. It absolutely FEELS like a ski town apres spot. Nachos, wings, beer? They've got 'em. A great spot to watch skier's come down the mountain? You bet. A surprisingly robust list of cocktails that are actually quite delicious? Yuuuup! The only downside of The Pig Pen are that the bathrooms are a long way to walk in ski boots (and they are NOT well-taken care of - which we found out is because the restrooms are actually part of the HOA and apparently there's some serious nepotism happening with the HOA company's owner's son running the show, but that's neither here nor there). Also, the service on the patio is a little spotty but it's not awful - and the servers were all super nice. read more

This is our second trip to Park City for ski week, the first was in 2023 right after Christmas and we had all the storms. While the family was on the mountain and the main lodge was crowded, I wondered into the Saloon and was pleasantly surprised on how spacious it was. There were plugs so I could get some work done! The staff was friendly and they were playing good music. I ordered the soup in a bread bowl, it was delicious. My only complaint is the restrooms were outside , a s complaint, but as I was solo for most of my day at the saloon, I didn't want to pack up all my stuff to go use it. We are hopefully making this an annual trip and I can be back soon! read more

I was pretty nervous coming here due to the recent negative reviews but I'm really glad we came anyways. Our first stop in we had drinks and the pretzel appetizer which was sooo yummy. We decided to come back for lunch and I had the pulled pork sandwich and my boyfriend had the bratwurst. Both were delicious. I have 0 complaints. Our server Emma R helped us both visits and she was so sweet. We will definitely be coming back during our trip here! read more

We came in to have lunch after boarding all day and the experience was horrible. Funny because I wasn't even going to leave a review but when I came to yelp to check it out the two most recent reviews are 1-2 stars with the same exact issue we had. The staff is not friendly! From the moment we sat down the attitude from the bartender (not all of them but one in particular) was really bad. It felt like everything we asked was upsetting her. Then I heard her be extremely rude to two customers that walked in right after us and they ended up turning around and leaving immediately. Could have just been a bad day for her so I feel sorry if that's what it was but it really made for a bad time in there and I'll probably be hitting any other place on the mountain except here next time. The cocktail I got was not very good either. read more

Fun after a day of skiing - lively bar packed too the gills in late afternoon. Don't come expecting fine dining. This is bar food with fun flavors. Drinks were great. Nachos were warm at best but the shredded chicken was sweetly delicious. We also had the chili cheese fries (yum & hearty) & chicken wings. The sweet Thai sauce on thee wings had a great kick. The star of the food show were the mini donut holes and Carmel dipping sauce. Service was good. The benches are not made for lingering or for short people! Beware of sneaky, unannounced added gratuity. Nowhere on the receipt did it say anything about a gratuity being added but the credit card receipt had a sneaky extra $20 added to it on top of the amount on our bill. The food was fine, service was fine, etc. but the way the bill was rung up at the end was really shady. read more

The Pig Pen is not only the best bar in Park City, it is the best on mountain resort bar in the world. Great service, awesome servers and in an atmosphere that is all about big mountain skiers and riders. Charming setting and service. We love Caitlin, Kim, Kevin, Marley, Emma, and Jessi. If your passion is skiing, riding, great people and a wonderful atmosphere, you cannot miss the "Pen"! read more

From okay to aggravating I never wrote negative reviews but beware of the rude ass staff here I manager a bar in Colorado Springs and I would never encourage staff to do what they did today First, they were not on it with serving we even moved to a new table to be seen better, then we got served. That's okay that happens sometimes. None of us had an issue we actually had a great time We wait, hangout, pay. We leave, we're outside getting our boards and a staff member, I assume a manager cause she came out to say this (disgustingly inappropriate whoever it was) Came out to us and said to someone in our group, who is visiting, "don't come in here again if your not going to tip" in such a shitty disgusting way.. it took EVERYTHING in me to not say "tipping isn't required" Also the service wasn't good Have better service, engage, anything If you do not like working in service. Do not. Point blank period. Whoever that was is a very negative and unhappy person, I understand why you have bad reviews Sorry. Not sorry I would never accept my staff to do that. read more

Just enjoyed a Moscow mule on the patio with my love. Great place to unwind. The sun was shining, the drinks were cold, the experience was wonderful. Plus, they have a special to get a shot and a T-shirt for $10. I'm wearing mine now, added the shot of vodka to my mule. read more

I was really excited to see a bar at the bottom of a hill in Utah, but the bartender was one of the rudest people I have ever met in my life. She treated me like I was the scum underneath her shoe. As I was walking out I poured the rest of my drink in the plastic cups provided at the doorway, and being a Nevada resident I assumed that was ok. This woman ran up to me and yelled "can't you read?!!!" That is how she approached me. I responded to her "please don't talk to me like I'm stupid." She said she didn't call me stupid. SEMANTICS. This woman should be fired, blonde, Monday 1/28, I'm assuming main bartender. I cannot even believe how I was just treated. One more thing, what if I was autistic or dyslexic and really couldn't read?!?!!! The audacity to ask me if I could read is appalling. She should be ASHAMED of herself and the owners should be concerned they have a person like this working for them. read more

The Pig Burger was one of the best burgers I have ever had. Drink prices are reasonable, but the burger was a little pricey. The place is small and gets busy in the afternoon. Will definitely get lunch there the next time I visit. read more

Very convenient, right at the end of the run. You can watch everyone coming down the mountain if you get a seat by the window. Cozy little place. I do wish it had a fireplace or fire pit to make it seem more cozy. Everything foodwise is under $10 (although all very close to that $10 mark) Try the caramel pig it's caramel baileys with hot chocolate very delicious! The chili is homemade and quite beanie the burgers are huge and good. read more

I ordered a bunless burger and skipped the fries since they don't have a dedicated fryer. I ordered a side salad instead, only to find out almost all of the dressings contained gluten, so I went with the vinaigrette. The burger itself was overcooked and honestly pretty underwhelming. The worst part came at the end of my meal. I took a bite of my salad and felt a crunch. There was a crouton mixed in. I had to spit it into my napkin in front of my coworkers, but by then I'd already chewed it and had crumbs throughout my mouth. For someone with celiac disease, this isn't just an inconvenience. If I'd never mentioned it, that would be one thing. But after telling the staff up front, there should never have been a crouton on that salad. That's beyond normal cross contamination. Bonus points for being locally owned (vs Vail owned). We came a few days in a row and Alicia served us all 3 times. By the 2nd visit she even had our drink order memorized (which admittedly made us feel pretty cool), and had lots of great recs for the rest of our trip. Wow buddy... I've been coming to the Pen for 6 years now. After reading reviews recently, I feel the need to chime in. As a pass holder at PCMR, the Pig Pen is my Apres ski spot. The food is awesome, big portions, and comes out quickly. I think it's beyond average bar food. They have a ton of bottled brews and a great selection of drafts. Moab Johnny's what,what! Absolutely I would recommend the pig pen to anyone older than 21. All the staff there are amazing. The girls behind the bar are not only professional cocktail mixers. But also super friendly. The outdoor deck is my favorite place to sit back and enjoy a drink on the slopes. Oh and the beer cheese let me tell you is the best I've ever had. read more
