I called and left a voice message with "Boswell Safe & Vault Co" and Curtis the owner, called me back in less then 30 minutes, while I was still in search of a safe mover. Curtis provided professional, courteous and detailed safe moving, installing and bolting down a safe service emphasizing the grave importance of safety to everyone, in addition, Curtis discussed how important bolting down the safe is because this provides extra added stability to top heavy safes like the safe I purchased from Costco. Bottom line: Curtis was "On Point" from the start to the finish. The 2 Boswell movologist (Jeremy & Kellen) were very professionally, courteous and believe it or not they were in and out in less than 1 hour. I thought that was amazing!!! These 2 He-men (lol) moved my 340lb brand new still in the box/located in my garage on the 1st story up to the 2nd story of my M. bedroom. (With some help from their little friend a elevator dolly), bolted it down to my hardwood flooring, thoroughly covered specific details about my safe. Showed me how to change my safe combo from the factory default setting, explained California's law that all safes must be left open if/when you sell your home and we also had a very brief discussion on religion. Yes, folks all that occurred in less than 1 hour. (Scouts honor). Overall: Extraordinary/outstanding service. After the most hellish week of my entire life...packing up our house in Austin...hiring movers in Austin...renting a 26' truck and driving it over two days to San Diego...we just wanted it to be over with. We were exhausted and completely fried. We arrived in SD at 2:30 a.m. 7/6/15 on Monday morning. Later that morning, I found Chula Vista Movers on yelp, and called to see if we could possibly get someone out on the same day. I spoke with mike. He didn't know for sure, but thought they could. I asked him to send STRONG guys who were professionals. He took my number and promptly called back after speaking with one of the other guys. He said they would be there within about 1 hour. Which was great...except for I had misplaced the truck keys. GREAT. That's all we needed. Luckily, I was able to find them, and the guys showed up literally 45 minutes later. I was expecting big burly moving guys, but George and David were just a couple of regular-size guys. To be completely honest, I was a little worried because they weren't big burly guys, and we had a lot of stuff and large items to move, but we got started. I was just so happy to have help. We signed some paperwork and disclosures, clearly spelling out what they were able to do. It was simple and quick, then they got to work right away. We opened the truck...packed floor to ceiling with stuff falling out...and George looked at it and said something like "it's not all that bad." The one thing I was most thankful for both George and David was their upbeat optimism. I KNOW that truck was overwhelming, and if I was a mover I would have walked away. There were times I wanted to curl up in a corner and give up, and they were so reassuring that we would be done with this quickly, and everything would be fine. I don't think I'll ever ask for big burly moving guys ever again! George and David were super strong, and particularly nimble. I watched as they picked up STACKS of boxes (I could only lift one, maybe two if they are light), and SPRINTED through our garage, down some stairs, across a courtyard, and up and down stairs. I was really shocked by this. I had worried about how a dolly might get the carpeted stairs dirty, but they didn't have to use one. Furniture that my other movers used dollies on, these guys just picked up and carried. Then the worst part. I'm a glass artist, and have a medium-sized kiln that I had hoped I could get into the basement. I warned them ahead of time that it was buried inside the 26' truck, and when we got to it, they paused. After a few minutes of talking about how delicate certain parts of the kiln are, George secured the lid, we turned it on its side, and the guys picked it up and headed for the basement. I followed them...I asked George if I was making him nervous, and he honestly replied "yes." The truth was after everything they moved so far, I was 100% confident they could do it. The kiln to me represents more than just a hobby...it's my little business and my dream . When they got it down safely, I was so happy I started crying...I hugged them, although they probably thought I was completely nuts. But I was so thankful for these guys. I had estimated that it would take them 4-5 hours...in Austin it had taken our movers 4 hours and we had added more stuff to the truck. They came in right at 3.5 hours. I added a nice tip for both of them (which was WELL deserved!), because I was so pleased with their work. I would recommend Chula Vista Movers to anyone who is looking for a quality moving company. They didn't just move my furniture...they gave me peace of mind. And I needed that more than anything.

When everything was off loaded at my new house the bike was missing. I called them back and they said they would check the truck in the morning since I didn't notice until I was unpacking that night. I called the office to report the bike missing. I sent them emails and all the stuff they wanted and they have never returned my calls. They have ghosted me at this point.

The two gentlemen that helped me move were Junior and Aaron. They arrived right on time at 8am as scheduled. They very professional and very good at what they do. They were able to move my stuff from my downtown condo to a house in the suburb in almost 3 hours which is the bear minimum you are required to hire a mover for. I was very happy with their performance and their punctuality. Overall, I absolutely recommend these guys and hope everyone gets to have these two awesome guys as their movers cause they rock.
