We were on the second floor of an apartment complex so I knew the stairs was going to be a challenge but they did an amazing job! If you're thinking about hiring this company, don't walk, RUN away. They quoted us 3 hours, at $140 an hour plus fees, to move a 2 bedroom apartment into a new place 2 miles down the street. We are coming up on hour number 10 and they are not even half way through unpacking. They started the timer before even having the truck in position. The movers came ill-equipped. They did not have door stops to keep doors open, which is standard for any professional moving company to insure safety and efficiency. They spent the first 20 minutes of the move trying to prop the doors open with scrunched up balls of plastic wrap, to no avail. One of the two movers was sitting on his phone while the timer was running. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When confronted the mover got extremely hostile and said "We're not slaves", to which I replied, "Of course not, I'm paying 140 an hour and you're on the clock."[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They then threatened to take our belongings if we didn't pay, which was completely unwarranted as we never said we wouldn't pay. Multiple items have been damaged including a very expensive bed frame, night stand and dresser. My nephew recommended this moving company because he had seen their trucks in the neighborhood and I liked the reviews I read on Yelp. I received a call the day before asking for a few pictures of some of the stuff we wanted relocated so that they brought the right equipment for our specific stuff. I've been meaning to leave a review since my move in April, 2024. I posted this review, and the same review on the company's other page, and both reviews were removed. Long story short, the reason Monica gave when my partner complained about the length of time it took for my move, "The movers were called in on their day off and sounds like they took it out on you." She took $150 off of what turned out to be an 8 hour day. $150? After admitting your employees purposely took all day? Started out with a great experience. Monica was so helpful and accommodated a date change for my move. Their prices were similar to other moving companies, but after the 3 hour minimum they would charge in 15 minute increments. They were not packing or unpacking me. Just moving. I moved from a third floor 2 bedroom apartment. I had a roommate who was not part of the move, so Monica put me down as a 1 bedroom apartment. I've moved 3 times from a third floor apartment and it generally takes about 4 hours. I was moving to a 1 story house about 5 miles away. Estimated time on my quote is listed as 3.5 to 4.5 hours. $490 to $640. The 2 movers showed up on time, 830am. The guys who moved me were friendly. At noon I was stressing. They hadn't finished loading the truck yet. There was still stuff in my apartment. I told them to leave everything else. There were some random boxes, an emtpty tv boc, stuff under my bed which I hadn't packed, my bed frame, some random stuff. After I asked them to leave everything else, I went to my car to wait, which was parked on the other side of the complex in front of my garage. I could see the moving truck from where I was, but they would have to know where to look in order to see me. I watched one of them carry the empty TV box and load it into the truck. That was all he had. One. Empty. Tv. Box. Carried down three flights of stairs. The boc I had asked them to leave. They didn't have a loading ramp, they used the truck lift. I think they only had one dolly. Not that that matters. Around 1 they finished packing my garage. They took their lunch break and met me at the house at 145. At this point, the money I had set aside for moving was gone. I had to ask my partner if he could pay. They started unloading the truck and were goofing around. I had been goofing around with them, but I mean. I wasn't moving myself. You can goof around and still work. One of them asked to use our bathroom. Another one asked for a phone charger. They asked where boxes should go. I told them. At one point I just told them to get it all in the house. Anywhere in the house. All they had to do was to walk up a driveway and into either the front door or garage to unload. They had wrapped my couches in blankets and protective wrap. My other moves, they only wrapped the couches in plastic wrap. Other movers also kept the couch pillows within the wrapping. These guys removed the throw pillows and put them in boxes. Monica said they would use one of their tv boxes to move my tv. When I suggested the actual tv box I had, they said they would have to take off the feet of the tv to put it in the box. They didn't use their tv box either, but wrapped my tv instead. They wrapped everything. Bookshelves, everything. They unwrapped everything after they unloaded. Even the stuff that didn't have their blankets wrapped. They finished at 430. My partner paid them the cash I had, and was going to talk to them about the length of time it took, but I said to call the moving company instead. He called the moving company and they took off $150 from a $1200 bill. When he explained to Monica what happened, she told him "They came in on their day off and it sounds like they took it out on you." I didn't know that last part until recently. When I unpacked I noticed some boxes didn't have descriptions on them. They had packed some of my stuff without asking. One box had a lamp base and lampshade in it. That was it. They were my boxes, they didn't use their own boxes or tape. I had a carefully packed box full of plants. I was going to take it in my car, but they said they'd take it in the truck. I trusted them. When I opened it, the plants had knocked over and soil had fallen out. I had to re-pot a few, and a couple died. My boyfriend used the same moving company for his move. 1 story, 3 bedrooms, about 15 miles away. His move was less than $800. His movers took off the feet of his TVs. I'm upset all over again. I'll never use this company again or recommend them. read more

We Like To Move It made moving for us a total breeze! I can't recommend this friendly company enough! Here's why: 1. Receiving a quote online and scheduling on the phone - fast and easy. 2. They were flexible and let us have 2 pick-ups in the same day (i.e., they loaded up my stuff, drove to my boyfriend's place and loaded up his stuff, and then unloaded it all at our new place together). 3. They make you feel "taken care of". We received reminder emails 5 days + 1 day prior to Moving Day, and Chad and his team called us when they were on en route to our place in the morning. Not all movers do this and it was a MUCH better experience than prior movers I've had when I was hanging around waiting for them. 4. The actual moving? Fast, efficient, and professional. These guys loaded up our two 1-bedroom apartments and unloaded them in ~4.5 hours, which included about 1 hour travel time. They disassembled our furniture (bed, several tables and bookshelves) and reassembled them at our new place, easy peasy. They wrapped everything securely and handled things carefully. Nothing was dropped or broken. 5. This really should be the first bullet point - the guys were incredibly nice and friendly, and total pleasures to work with!
