I've purchased multiple backpacks and shoes from this store for my hiking journeys, and I have not been disappointed in any item. Their return policy is excellent. I've only had to use it a few times but it has always been easy (you need a receipt though!) I've been an REI member since 2006. In the early days, I would get $20-$30 back from my purchases because I was always stocking up. It's a great loyalty program. Today I bought replacement hiking shoes and a new item - water purification tablets! The store has a new layout so I also took some time to see how they switched things around. And if you can't find what you're looking for, ask someone because they can order it for you and have it shipped to your home.

Truthfully, the pricing is mixed and you may not get a great offer for something you have that may have some value if you are selling used. You may also pay a lot for something used that isn't that great either....BUT a few things to consider about this store/general philosopgy: 1. People tend to overestimate the value of their stuff 2. In order to have a successful business that can offer used goods (so hard to find in this world outside of the online world), you have to pay the rent, pay for the lights to stay on, the employees to offer the service that you get that's not online, and to make this sort of marketplace work. They also probably have a decent sense of what they can resell and what they can't...And, finally, and it's the big one for me - 3. There are legitimate deals and great quality used stuff that is reducing the waste on this planet, helping parents get sports gear for their kids at a more reasonable price and sometimes even great quality, and it's all about timing as the inventory is always changing, just like the sizes of our children. Play it again offers a way to exchange our kid's old gear, upgrade to the new, and then repeat without a bunch more $ht that we all end up with even if we have to pay a fee in the process. The people that work here have been nothing but kind to me and genuinely want to help. They pick up the phone when you call and are honest about the products. I have found a lot of great stuff here and try to buy used when I can/it makes sense. Depending on your timing again, it can be hard to find certain types of things and this is one weakness perhaps in the model. They tend to have a lot of balls, lacrosse sticks, but very few elementary age bikes for example, or roller skates in the size that you need. Some people seem to be upset about their return policy but I think they are pretty upfront about it. The store credit can be saved and eventually you will find something you want/gift idea.

I was greeted upon walking in, asked several times if I needed help - and it wasn't intrusive. Everyone was super helpful and the clothes were very stylish and trendy. The only one thing that I've noticed (especially since I've been to a few Nike factory stores in a few different states) is that the prices here at this store were a bit higher than other stores that I've been too. However, that could've very well been Georgia, the stores in NC were a little cheaper. There's a fitting room, a sitting section - to be honest this looks like a brand new store. Not a bad price point at all imo. I've already gotten my money's worth. Brian even checked the warehouse for the other pair I wanted (sold out too), which I appreciated. The Hawks Shop is the Atlanta Hawks merch store that's right inside State Farm Arena…read more It's great for if you want to pick up a souvenir, jersey, or other item from the game you saw there - or if you're currently going to a game and forgot a team shirt/jersey. Is it the cheapest place to buy Hawks gear? Absolutely not. There are stalls right outside the arena selling Hawks stuff for a tenth of the price. But to get an item from the actual stadium store where you saw them play - that's a lot more special than getting a knock off on the street. (And I know die hard fans don't want to buy unofficial gear). Also, if you've ever bought official sports merch anywhere, you know it's not a cheap item to buy, and most often the quality matches the price tag. It's always busy in the Hawks Shop, so there will be a line to check out, but they keep it moving quite efficiently. The shop is also not the biggest for how packed it gets (especially on game days) so bring your patience and put away your personal bubble preferences in here. It's definitely worth a stop if you're there on game day or any other time to see if they have any cool Hawks merch you may want to grab - just bring a hefty budget along with you!
