I was in escrow and had scheduled my move with another mover, when the day before I was scheduled to move, I get a text from the moving business (recommended by my realtor) that they had to cancel due to lack of staff. I was so upset and stressed out that I nearly had an anxiety attack at work. It was 4 p.m. on a Thursday and I did not know what I was going to do. After I composed myself, I jumped onto Google and typed in movers in my area. I scrolled through a lengthy list and clicked on one company that led me to Yelp showing me a longer list. Once on Yelp, I scrolled and found a few ads for movers. Since it was now 5 p.m. the first company I called was already closed. I called my next choice and it was Master Movers and the owner Art picked up my call right away. I thought to myself, It was Thursday at 5 p.m. and the owner answered? WOW! I explained my situation to Art and he immediately calmed me down and said he would be happy to help. I didn't ask to be moved the the next day thinking to myself that there was no way he could get a crew together that fast or squeeze me in since there is no squeezing in these kinds of thing at the last minute ... but I was wrong. Art made it happen! He went through all the information he needed to determine the size of truck and crew to bring. I sent him a deposit (what did I have to lose at this point, right?) and was relieved it he was legit and available on such short notice. I exhaled a sigh of relief and slept well knowing Art and his team were coming the next morning. And they did. I received a text notifying me they were on there way and they arrived on time. He and his team went to work right away with wrapping furniture, packing up the clothes in the closet on hangars, and methodically packing the truck. Not one item of mine was damage or scratched! Not one! I had a two-level condo and they maneuvered those stairs like choreographed dancers without scratching the walls, dirtying the carpet or tearing anything up. They took my TVs off the wall and also packed them away. Once the truck was loaded, we had to make a stop at my storage unit to drop some bulky items off and pack them away. They did not just throw my belongings in the unit any which way, but took their time to pack them correctly. It was a very hot day in July so I knew they must have been tired and thirsty but they kept going. Once they finished there, they arrived to the new house and unloaded and unpacked the truck right away. They set up my bed and installed my TV onto the wall. Again, nothing, not one thing was damaged as they unraveled the packing material off my furniture. Art and his team took the time and care with my belongings, which eased my anxiety for such a big move. I can't thank Art and his team enough for the care, patience and professionalism they displayed during the move, which was about six hours and some change on one of the hottest days in July. Thank you Art for saving the day not only for me but for my little dog because when he got to our new home, his bed was all set up and ready for him. THANK YOU ART! YOU SAVED THE DAY!

I was immediately compensated for the issues I had surfaced and am extremely grateful to the Qshark team for doing so. **ORIGINAL** Unfortunately I cannot say I would recommend Qshark. We hired them for a cross country move and were very hopeful for a smooth process given the total cost we were quoted. Prior to the move, I will say the customer service was great. Any question we had was answered promptly and clearly over email, which was very helpful when preparing for the move. On the day of pick up, the movers were punctual, organized, kind and respectful. I have no complaints for the first half of the move. The delivery is where things started to go south. Our movers assured us they would arrive by July 1, however the night before I received a text from Frank that the movers were very delayed and were likely going to miss the delivery date. He let me know the battery had died in the moving truck and therefore they were unable to make the agreed upon delivery date. This was a problem as we had no accommodations for that night, assuming we would've been able to stay in our new home. Frank offered to cover the cost of any hotel expenses we incurred, which was the right thing to do given the circumstances. However, I did have to follow up with him once or twice to complete the reimbursement, which again isn't the type of service I would expect given the premium cost we paid and unique circumstances. When the movers arrived the next day, things looked positive as they were unloading all the furniture. However once they left we realized several items were either missing or damaged. Our bed frame, bar cabinet, shoe cabinet and futon all had either pieces missing or parts that had been dinged. On top of all of that, our TV screen had been damaged in the move. I have since been asking for claim details to get reimbursed for the TV repairs, and have followed up daily with no progress or confirmation that we will be compensated for the damages. Overall while the movers themselves were wonderful, the service of Qshark fell far below expectation and I would not book with them again.
