Our visit to Seroogy's was in December. The staff was very efficient. While most people rate Seroogy's chocolate with a five star rate, we should look at the ingredients before making the purchase. Vanillin is used instead of real vanilla Vanillin is chemically synthesized to taste like vanilla. There is corn syrup as a first ingredient in some of their products as well as other unwanted fillers. Lots of oils in the Peanut Butter Crisp Bar. Great coconut chocolates! The coconut chocolates come in a variation of chocolatey textures, milk chocolate or dark chocolate or even WHITE chocolate. The best in my opinion are the dark chocolate ones. My boyfriend comes here every time he's in Green Bay. Local chocolates. Mmmmmm. Green Bay, I think I just fell in love with you. Nothing is better than freshly made and delicious chocolate. And as a diabetic, nothing is better than a big selection of sugar-free candies!! I was smitten with the sugar-free variety - gummy bears, gummy worms, Swedish fish, salt water taffy, chocolate covered almonds, etc... The list continues on and on. Never have I seen such a vast variety of sugar-free candies in one place! Aside from the sugar-free selection, the full-blown sugar selection was ten times as large. Whatever you wanted covered in chocolate - they had it. Even though my pancreas gets mad at me when I eat regular sugar items, I give into temptation and try them nonetheless. The mint meltaways and mini key lime truffles are to die for. One of my favorites was the dark chocolate covered ginger. OMG. The ginger is infused in a jelly like substance ((think gummy bears)) and then dipped in chocolate. The flavor of the ginger is strong, but is somewhat masked by the creaminess of the chocolate. Swoon. The staff was very helpful. The dude behind the deli-like counter allowed me to try a couple samples before committing to buying in bulk. I would have tried each and every piece if he ((and my pancreas)) would have allowed me to. Seroogy's also carries a variety of trinkets and decoration for the season or whatever holiday was near. Not my thing per se, but if you're into that kind of thing, the option is there for you. They also carry a wide variety of "serve yourself" Jelly Belly jelly beans. I love Seroogy's and although I'm super sad the nearest location to me in Green Bay, I'm happy to have learned that they have a website where you can have all the chocolate and candies in their warehouse shipped to you. read more

We were looking for the factory but found this outlet. It had a large variety of chocolates and other candies produced by Seroogy's, or at least packaged by them. The place was clean and you can have a little cup of joe while browsing the store. They had a variety of gift packs which is perfect for a quick gift for the chocolate lovers. In addition to chocolate and candies this story had little toys, coffee cups and other Green Bay memorabilia. read more

Anything I ever buy here is a big hit. First time at this location as I usually go to the De Pere location. This one is closer to home and honestly just as great. Really good selection to choice from and I appreciate how many things to pick from for gifts. We even purchase items from here to put in work gift baskets we like their products so much. I will continue to come here and buy. The service even though they were swamped busy with holiday shoppers Saturday was excellent and the cashier had some laughs with us. I will be back! read more

I'm glad I don't live close to this place! My son called it the type 2 diabetes store. We bought 1/2 pound of assorted bulk chocolates, 1/2 pound of jelly belly beans, 1 pop rock candy bar, 1 pound of caramel popcorn, a caramel bar, and caramel apple. Our total was 26 dollars and we had a coupon from our hotel for spend 15 and get 4 free candy bars. Those consisted of a peanut butter crisp, mint melt away, caramel bar, and pop rock bar. Everyone loved the pop rock bar (i didn't try it, I'm not that adventurous...). My husband didn't care for the caramel bar ( his opinion doesn't count, it was phenomenal). All the chocolates, popcorn, Apple, etc were out of this world and I'm sure I gained five pounds. read more

Haven't tried all of the chocolates that Seroogy's offers but what I've tried have been delicious. The meltaways are my favorite. It's fun to look around at all the seasonal offerings while sipping a sample of coffee and eating a piece of sample chocolate. Is 6 stars an option? This is some dam good chocolate. They have a variety of prepackaged stuff and a whole counter where you can make your own box. They also always have a pile of a sample chocolate you can taste. I love samples. The staff has also been friendly and willing to answer any questions. I really wish they had a Florida location. I have been a dark chocolate lover for many years & always thought that the chocolate I was eating was great. That is until I tried Seroogy's. Chocolate lovers, this is some very incredible chocolate made in Green Bay, WI. There is not another brand that compares with my new found chocolate love, and I have traveled domestically & internationally in search of the best. I would say the only other chocolate that might compare is in Vienna where they have been making fine chocolates for centuries. I live in So California but come home once a year. I always have to make a Seroogy's stop to stock up. My friends in GB send it to me for special occasions. I need to come up with more special occasions. I was expecting just a small chocolate store, but whoa, I was blown away because it was so much more! The chocolate speaks for itself and it says "HEY, I'M DELICIOUS, EAT ME!" So many options for chocolate, I think I went into diabetic shock just looking through the store. I was surprised at how much else they had in the way of cards, gifts, and other things....even a small section for Packers stuff. Great local spot for chocolate and gifts. I've had a few things from here including their fudge egg and some smaller truffles and treats. Those were all a-ok, but I swear, their peanut butter crunch candy bar is on a whole other level! Their prices are very fair, and I respect that. This is my go to place for chocolate on those special occasions when you want a huge treat. I received a sugar free box of chocolate for Valentine's Day last week, and read the label on the box, and was concerned about the laxative effective when eating these chocolates. I have intestinal issues. So I asked my husband to return the box, unopened in Seroogy's sealed wrapper to exchange them for regular chocolate. When he got to the store, they refused to exchange the unwrapped, sealed box because it is their policy that once it leaves the store, they can not resell it. I can understand that IF the box is not sealed, and something has been eaten, but this was not a red box of chocolates. He had to buy me another box of chocolates for $21.00. He left the sugar free box with them saying we could not eat them anyway. I would have sold them online since they were sealed and unopened, but that was what he did. I am VERY VERY disappointed! This policy should be stated up front when the buyer makes the purchase in case something is wrong. Love the chocolates, but my experience in needing to change things, not so much. I may consider going to Kaaps, or Beerntsen's next time I want chocolates of this caliber. read more
