Service writer David Fulton is a dishonest and shady human being. My grandsons car 2014 Chevy Equinox suffered a rear main seal blowout due to a known susceptible condition with the PCV system during extremely cold temperatures. When the issue was discussed with him he told my grandson to have the vehicle towed to the dealership and they would take care of it at no charge. Of course that turned out to not be the case as 3 days later he called to tell my grandson it would cost more than $2,600.00 to make repairs. This after he paid $260.00 to have the car towed to the dealership. Faced with an amount we felt was out of line we located a local repair shop and decided to have the vehicle picked up and taken there. my grandson went by the service department to get the key and was told he would have to come back later as the mechanic needed to put some parts back on the vehicle. He returned on his lunch break and was told he had to pay $200.00 for a diagnostic fee before they would give him the key. Again, this was never told to him at anytime during this process. David Fulton, you are a very deceptive and sneaky person. Karma is a B****. DO NOT EVER TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE EXCEPT FOR COST FREE WARRANTY WORK AND GET IT IN WRITING!!

2.5 hours.... for an oil change.... need I say more?! We arrived in Memphis at 0630 and the truck was at 4% oil life. Our final destination was Nashville, but we figured we should hit up a Chevy dealership in Memphis right when they open so it hopefully wouldn't take all day. (Side note: we only chose to go to a Chevrolet dealership because it's a 2019 Silverado so it's within the first 12 months of Chevrolet Care. Otherwise, I would've definitely gone to a Take 5 or some quick place). Well, we got there right when they opened... but didn't help much. Their waiting room was a good size with vending machines, coffee, and 2 boxes of donuts. The salesman would pop in every now and then, they were all very friendly. I'm not sure if their service department was just backed up or what - but they need some help. I figured after walking around their lot and looking at the Tahoe I wanted, the car was going to be ready... no. Anyways - we were out by lunch, the truck was good to go and we were out!

The BEST Chevy salesman in TN - Paul Seward!

Why do I LOVE Serra Chevrolet Bartlett? - I took White Stallion in today to get an oil change. When I saw my FAVORITE salesman, Paul Seward, he asked what happened to my truck. I told him my garage ran into it. He laughed but then said to see him before I left. Paul buffed the scratches out and even put a little cover on it. I absolutely love the Serra team! The entire team is knowledgeable, friendly and make sure their customers are their #1 priority. In the market for a new vehicle, GO TO SERRA CHEVROLET BARTLETT!

This is a dishonest dealership with Bait-and-Switch Pricing…read more I recently attempted to purchase my mom a vehicle from this dealership and was completely disappointed by their dishonest sales tactics. They advertised a 2025 Honda Accord Hybrid online with an Internet Price of $35,410--including a listed dealer discount--but when I got to the dealership, they claimed the price was $36,925, conveniently ignoring their own advertised discount. This is a classic bait-and-switch move to lure in customers with lower prices only to push a higher price once you're there. Even when I showed them proof of the online price, they were unwilling to honor it, offering no reasonable explanation. If you value transparency and honesty, I would strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere. There are plenty of dealerships that won't waste your time with misleading advertising. Listed below are the salesmen that I spoke with: *Salesman: Jerry Hughes *Manager: Tim McCray UPDATE: As an update, we purchased the exact same car from SOUTHAVEN HONDA and had a much better experience. We were in and out in just over an hour. The team was professional, fair and more than willing to negotiate. The car was listed at $36K and we purchased it for 33K. Take your business to Southaven Honda and ask for Clayton. You will get a GREAT deal!

I purchased my vehicle here and recently visited the service department for my first routine maintenance appointment on my brand-new 2026 Buick Envista Sport. During the visit, I was told there was a possible oil leak and asked to return for further inspection because they were unsure whether a leak even existed. What is most concerning is that the service notes falsely state that I reported an oil leak myself, which is completely untrue. I came in for routine maintenance only. I will be seeking a second opinion at another dealership due to the lack of confidence this experience has caused. I expected better transparency and accuracy after purchasing my vehicle from this dealership.

I took my year & half old puppy with me too. Everyone was suprisingly open to have my leashed dog there with me. That was DEFINITELY a plus for me! All in all, a very nice experience. There is a bit of an…read moreover-eagerness and an attention to detail that can be grating, but the experience was gratifying. Our car buying experience was under 2 hours which is, in my experience, unheard of normally for a purchased on loan vehicle. Full story: I was in the market for a used car and being new to Memphis did not yet have any idea about the numerous car places scatter everywhere, especially on the Covington Pike Car-O-Rama area. I tend to avoid the really large places and branded places, since I shop used and every experience at maker/dealer places has been less than exceptional. After scouring through many of the small lots and seeing lemon after lemon (seriously, places charging 13k for a 2012 VW CC with completely ripped up interior because they catered towards those in dire need) I ended up passing a Drivetime, albeit on Winchester. I've always had an extremely negative opinion of DriveTime for no reason other than that I assumed they were vultures based on the marketing/spam material I had received or seen before. I stopped in the one on Winchester and looked at some vehicles, but they didn't have the ones I wanted and the website showed them all at Covington Pike. They were precious and tried to keep me there offering to transfer all the cars if needed, but I insisted that I would rather drive with my wife than wait an hour for each car. This was a great idea, the Covington Pike DriveTime is very nicely put together and looks like a Credible place to buy a vehicle. Upon entering we knew what Vehicle we wanted to see right off the bat, but it was on hold so we were a little put off and sat to look at the other Vehicle notes we had taken on my phone (since we had looked online before leaving). This was the point that subtracted half a star for me: One of the representatives asked to help me and I declined, after a short back and forth where I pleasantly continued to decline the representative got rude and I informed her I would not be working with her. After that things went amazingly well, we were walked to all the vehicles we wanted to see and liked none of them but luck was on our side and the vehicle we wanted came off of Hold. A brief test drive and we were away. A strange bit was that the representatives switched off during the sale which was something I had never seen before, but this did not bother us. Everything was done with a fastidiousness that would be the envy of an uptight British Banker from 1920. After we had everything looked at, marked down, and approved away we sat with the manager Kevin Harris who was charming and very eager to explain anything we asked. We signed off the obligatory 15 documents in a recorded session and turned to find our car washed and full of gas. Great job guys.

They have terrible communication (none really). My experience spans over MONTHS. They have had my car off and on forever now. I have had it for a total of 4 days in that time period (first drop off end of summer. 2nd time October 28, it is now Dec1). Since the first trip this has been my experience. And I have only had the car two and a half years. 1st time - kept it 14 days, said they could not get it to act up, had me pick it up. 2nd time said they could not find an issue and wanted me to pick it up, after 21 days and me TRYING to contact anyone, I FINALLY got to speak with the GM. I let him know they eventually were to replace my transmission under warranty. They gave me a completion date, no phone call. My husband had to drive there and look someone in the eye to get an answer. All the parts did not come in and we were NEVER told. We expected to pick our car up on Wednesday, this was Thursday. They asked my husband to bring in his key fob. He had to ask why, they guy said to reprogram it. My husband again asked why, that is when they told him they lost my key fob! We were finally contacted on the following Thursday it was ready. THIS IS AFTER 22 DAYS. Drove it 4 days and it did the exact thing I had originally brought it in for. Brought it back the following Monday. The GM drove it himself a total of 100 miles. It acted out for him and a mechanic who was with him. They determined it was a sensor issue that needed to be "adjusted'. I got the car back on the following Saturday for it to act up by that afternoon!!! We just dropped it off this morning at 6:30 for the FOURTH time. This is getting old; I need my car. We have owned 5 Nissans and never had this kind of issue. I am now really not even wanting it anymore because I am concerned it will NEVER be repaired correctly. We paid it off early. I am sooooooo upset. I am so done! I cannot afford another car. This was supposed to be my retirement car.
