It's a place I'd recommend for the food, especially the lobster, but it would be beneficial for the buffet to reconsider their queue management system to accommodate all guests more efficiently, particularly those with reservations and mobility issues. hello my name is Albert R. and yesterday me my mom and my sister visited your casino 6-26-2019. I hadn't been to your casino for over a year. My mother is 89 years old and handicapped she uses a walker and wheelchair. She wanted to gamble and go eat lobster at your buffet. We were in your long line until a wonderful employee of yours her name was Stevie called us over and let us enter the buffet. She was observant enough to see my mother exhausted from waiting. Stevie then proceeded to serve my mother so she didn't have to exert her self any further. I observed all your buffet staff to be very friendly, but not to the extend of Stevie. I manage 150 employees and I would love to have Stevie on my staff to train my associates. I know I'm not telling you something you don't already know. But in case your not aware of her customer service skills, just observe her at what she does best. I normally don't have the time to write reviews, but Stevie was an exception. OH your food was great, and going forward I will visit San Manuel casino more. I usually visit your competitors more but not anymore , they don't have a Stevie. Rolled in here with Justin and Jared when we were in town for a video shoot. Very cool stuff. The place has recently been renovated and looks really nice. We got seated rather quickly and the service staff was spot on. We enjoyed the hand-tossed pizza and some salads and a couple other small dishes. I try not to over eat at buffets - I think most of you know that I am anti-buffet - my Brother growing up loved HomeTown Buffet for some reason - and we had to go there for a lot of his birthdays and for celebrating things in his life (like an honor roll or making the team etc). It was awful. As a result, I hate most buffets, but I gave this one a a shot and like I said, I tried to not over eat and not mix weird things - like when you go to a buffet and eat pancakes, tacos, spaghetti, sushi and some type of dessert - you always feel like crap. Jared and Justin though - them boys are both 6-5 and I they nearly made me sick with all the food they were putting down. Seriously, I thought they were going to ask us to leave...:) The best part was dessert - they made me try the home made salted carmel ice cream and it was one of the best things I have ever put in my mouth. #Amazing. I've been to the Serrano Buffet twice now, both times for lunch. So, I can't really say how great their dinner is, but both trips for lunch have been worth my time, and I'll be back again one day. After reading numerous reviews, I was surprised by the complaints about the food. In my experience, the food was consistently delicious and well-seasoned, especially for a buffet. The only minor issue I encountered was the au jus for the prime rib being served cool. However, the roasted red pepper bisque was a standout dish that I thoroughly enjoyed. My dining experience was elevated by Aaron's exceptional service. He was not just attentive, but also incredibly helpful. From the moment we sat down, he ensured we had everything we needed. When I noticed the absence of spoons for the soup, he promptly provided one. He even went out of his way to assist one of my friends with a to-go cup for her soda and the dessert she wanted to steal. My overall experience at Serrano Buffet was delightful, and I wholeheartedly recommend it for lunch. I left the buffet feeling full, satisfied, and ready to return to the casino. Need a new manager!!! was not able to keep reservation lied about me saying i swore at him.....to other manager Ralph. What is this world coming too anyway....lie, lie and lie. I am so flabbergasted that a top manager would say this!!! out and out lie! over a reservation....No one has morals. respect for one another anymore. My waitress Ms. Carole is always a pleasure to have her when I'm here. S. But I can see that she enjoys to be working. Even though she's one of our elder, she moves like a jack rabbit. She never misses anything, she's stays on top of her customers needs and makes you feel more then just that...a customer. She's so quick to clean up her section to get ready for the next one. I just love to see her when I'm here, she makes my gloomy trying days a bright one... with all that joy that she brings out of her... so, who am I to wallow in my aching one! After reading many of the great reviews, I was a bit disappointed with the service & the buffet itself. I came here with my friend for brunch. There was a variety of food, but the taste of it all was nothing spectacular, It was just ok. At the prime rib station counter, I had asked the carver if he could ask the back kitchen to cook the meat just a little more as it was red for me. When the meat was given back, it was completely charred like rubber. I mean how could you even serve that back to a customer. I don't think these kitchen folks take much pride in their cooking or in their service. In addition, our waitress or lack thereof, only came by the table 2x. Nevee really came by to chk on us or take our plates, etc. Overall my first time experience here didn't meet my expectations. I probably won't be coming back. read more

My wife and I we were here on 8-03-2024 Saturday at around 8:00pm for dinner, and we were seated by the gentlemen name Benny, but he kindly changed the table towards the food station for server name Rina. At the same time, we were happy due to closer back and forth food access. Our new server name Rina was the top knotch service personal from start to finish. She went beyond our great expectation! Her service to us was an amazing experience. I wish the Serrano buffet manager gets all the servers get together and tell them that the service should be trained by Rina what the service is all about! While waiting in line at the buffet, I watched as Austin arrived on the scene, surveyed the line of patrons - including those of us in the Diamond card members line - and quickly sprang in to action. He opened a register and quickly waved me in to complete details for my seating. From there, Jamil took over, gallantly and amiably escorting me to prime center table. I really love the buffet, lobster night! Excellent lobsters, you have a choice of Pacific lobster tails split for your convenience or a whole Maine Lobster claws and all (I love the claws), Alaskan King crab legs, Prime Rib and all the trimmings, lots of salads, side dishes and wonderful desserts. The desserts are really good too, not just sugary fluff but actual good flavor and textures! The best however is the real Pineapple & salted carmel ice cream! Really fantastic! The drawbacks? Cynthia is an excellent servicer she always makes my visit pleasant and enjoyable. The bacon was over cooked to hard breaking apart. I really love your lemon meringue pie but Not the sugar fre one today I got the regular one it was in a tiny little pie but barely had any lemon in it I also like the danish that has the pecans but you haven't had them for a while. (All I ever eat is a bacon taco a few pieces of fruit and a pie or danish). But I do like it when I get to go and have buffet.
