The most decent KBBQ you'll get especially in the Ontario/Rancho Cucamonga area. You get to grab dessert after; Kung Fu Tea is right next door! There is genius parking in the front of the restaurant and within the plaza. When walking in, we had made it on time for the line pricing! It was $24.99. Dinner is about $30. They do have weekday happy hour from 3 - 6 PM! We were seated when our whole party was there. The server, Arianna, quickly came by and asked if we were ready to order. We ordered waters, soju cocktails, side dishes, and our first rounds of meat. The meat was frozen and piled onto the plates. We had ordered their brisket, spicy pork belly, beef belly, and bulgogi. We had a watermelon cocktail soju with cheesy corn, Korean party soup, and steamed egg. We had the server bring out salad and some rice paper for us, too. Overall, we got full very fast. Arianna was very kind and sweet to us, so shoutout to her! She had changed our grill three times and kept our waters full. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant itself was okay! Floors were a tad bit sticky and the side dishes weren't filled all the way, which is understand since they don't want it to go to waste.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]But, I think it made the experience there average. Again, still the best you can get in the area![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Found the formula for eating at U-Grill without a wait Come at 3pm on a Tuesday! Every time I come here , which is usually on a weekend, anytime , it's about an hour or more wait. I am definitely coming back on my day off work! I forgot how inexpensive it is for the quality and variety of different meats, veggies and it is all you can eat ! Love all the varieties of banchan . Be daring try everything! It's all delicious! The service was fast and we had an exceptional server Ivan who was very helpful in picking out what tastes great! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is great for large groups of people.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] So nice to not have to drive to LA for Korean BBQ! Bring your appetite! Sorry no pics of meat! We were starving and were busy grilling and eating! We selected A and it was more than enough food for 2 people.

The service was great but some of the food items were cold (rice and soup) and there was a lot of splashed grease on the curtains that made my sisters stomach upset.

One of my favorite KBBQ's to come to in the Riverside. They offer a wide variety of meats and vegetables along with a selection of side dishes. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This location offers a welcoming family atmosphere and friendly service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Not to mention very tasteful food. This place will not disappoint you.

Celebrating son's bday here!! A trendy AYCE offering a several varieties of KOREAN bbq options , side dishes like corn cheese , kimchi, marinated paper radish, pickled daikon , tofu soup, glass noodles, plus flavorful meat cuts of brisket, pork belly, pork chop, bulgogi, teriyaki chicken and many more ... as well as bowl of white rice!! Always an enjoyable dinner with family!! Our server Jane gave an excellent stellar service making sure our grills were frequently checked and replaced, our water replenished, our meat

    My favorite! Corn cob cheese!

I was really craving some KBBQ yesterday after doing some studying at Victoria Gardens so I looked for one close by and found this place! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Super spacious, vibes were good, and the music was pretty lit not gonna lie.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Unfortunately, I had to wait about an hour for a seat on a Saturday so if you can make a reservation beforehand I would recommend doing that. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We got seated at the bar which was spacious enough for two people to cook, eat, and drink.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our bartender was super sweet and attentive to us the whole time. I was surprised by how quickly everything came out too! I wouldn't say this place stands out compared to other kbbq in the area but the food was yummy and tasted fresh. I really enjoyed their corn cheese and their bulgogi. Next time, I need to try their pork belly

First I would say service is not bad. Its on the better side. Price and quality wise..for $39.99 i don't think id come here. Ive taken my bf to several kbbq but he said he likes this one the least oof. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Sanitation wise..I dont think they clean the table well. We set down and i wiped the table it was greasy and stuff on it which was really gross.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Had to tell the server to wipe it down x.x and all their side dishes were not good (this is coming from person who grew up eating korean food and been to about 50+ kbbq places). I dont think I'll be back. But shout out to the staff they're all polite and nice thats why 2 stars (:

Amazing spot!!! This has been my recommendation to all of my kbbq meet ups for a few years now. The staff are awesome and handles the constant busy flow quite well and while there is always a wait, the food has always been quite worth it to me! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place always has a great vibe and all of the servers that have served us have been so cool and awesome!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

You Grill at UGrill!! UGrill is a chain of Korean-style BBQ. They have two locations in Rancho Cucamonga, literally a few blocks from each other. I chose this location as I was at Ontario Mills shopping, and it happened to be closer to where I was. Upon entering, the host took my name, and I waited a whole 5 minutes before being seated. My server, Daniel, came by my table and not only made some recommendations, but offered me an Ice-Cold Cass ( a Korean Beer). I have eaten at many Korean BBQs over the years, and every one of them has been unique. The UGrill chain offers affordable options, even for its premium menu. They also provide a wide selection of Kimchi to enhance your meal. Some highlights of my selections were baby octopus, which I will cop up in the future for more even cooking, Pork chops, Rib Eye, and a few other meats. I also ordered a steamed egg and a very delicious Kimchi Stew!!! Overall, a great experience with no issues, as the food came out fast when I ordered more selections. My server was great, very attentive and the staff, in general. replaced my grill every ten to fifteen minutes without me having to ask. UGrill is a great place to eat, with many options and great service.

U-Grill has been a family favorite over the last few years. We used to frequent Gen Korean BBQ, but U-Grill is much better when it comes to service and overall flavor. The service has always been great here. Your food is dropped at the table pretty quickly and our servers have been great. The inside of the restaurant has a clean and modern feel and the seating is very comfortable if you are able to grab a booth. We dropped in for lunch on a Saturday and menu option A was $29.99 per person. There are more options with menu B, but it costs more and really we're okay with menu A. Our favorites to order are the beef brisket and beef belly. I know there's a lunch menu, but this is only available Monday thru Friday. Overall, we have never had a bad experience and the food and service are great. Will be returning!

To be quite honest, I'm not a big fan of Korean barbecue. Generally if I want to cook my own food, I'll do it on the grill in my backyard but the little lady wanted Korean barbecue so of course I agreed. We've been to a couple of the local spots U-Grill was my wife's pick. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very hip, very trendy. Young crowd.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I felt like everyone's Grandpa. You have to Scan the bar code to get a menu. Grumpy old man trigger. I let my wife do it. Just hand me a menu like we've been doing it for 1000 years! Sorry for the rant. My wife ordered then raw meet just started flowing to our table. Being the grill meister at home I thought I would take control of the grill. Steak and Bulgogi. Finally some Shrimp and intestines. Yes intestines! Some tongue, ribeye some veggies to pacify the guilt. Lots of small dishes with Kimchi, pickles, radish and rice paper for rolling. Reminded me of the 60's. Don't underestimate these small dishes most of these small sides are fantastic. Between my wife and I and our 2 tag along grand kids we ate a couple of hundred dollars worth of food. Also had a bottle of Soju which might explain my happy demeanor. Everything was awesome including the Mochi ice cream the grandkids had for desert. Next time it's my choice so I'll pick a place where the food is cooked for me. But we will be back so chill the Soju. Definitely Recommended

    Ulises O.

This is still my go to KKBQ spot as far as price and availability. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It is usually never busy the time we go[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], unfortunately the service has been a bit lackluster. Other than that, everything has been good.

This place is HUGE so I've never once had to wait for seating. What I love about this local, family run Mongolian spot is that it's all you can eat, so you don't have to stuff your 1 bowl like at the mall Mongolian spots. You can get 2 bowls if you want, one for noodles and veggies and the other for the meats. Best of all, when you are done, you can get more! The noodles are amazing, but what's equally as good is their side dish bar, which has pocket bread, egg drop soup, rice, spring rolls, and the BEST meatballs in gravy I've had in a while. The meat balls are so soft and flavorful. Lastly, the BEST fountain soda I've ever had is here. I usually drink 3-4 full cups before I leave. I come so often the main guy up front knows me, and always says "see you next week" when we leave.

The weekday lunch price of $18.99 feels reasonable, but at $23.99, you have plenty of other buffet options with a much wider selection -- places like Paradise, Empire, or Hibachi, which also include a Mongolian grill station. And honestly, if I'm only craving Mongolian grill, I'd rather drive to Pasadena and eat at Golden Palace for just $15.99. A quick tip to really make your money worth it: grab two bowls -- one for meat and one for noodles and veggies. Load up on as much meat as you can because it shrinks significantly after cooking. Take as little noodles as possible since they'll fill you up fast. Most people can only finish one or two bows, so don't waste your money by piling on too many noodles. Many previous reviews mentioned that this place used to automatically add a 6% gratuity fee even for solo diners. It seems they've stopped doing that, but they still add gratuity for larger groups.

The food wasn't the best I've ever had, but they had a huge variety, and most of it was pretty good. My favorites were the crispy cheese Rangoon, sushi rolls, shrimp with mushrooms, garlic bread, egg rolls better than Panda Express, green beans, mushrooms, and the egg drop soup. I was also surprised that the imitation crab and small crab plate tasted good--they weren't fishy like they can be at some buffets. The orange chicken and jalapeño chicken were both crispy and tasted very similar. The fried rice was just okay by itself, but it paired well with everything else. There were plenty more dishes, desserts, and even a Mongolian BBQ station, but I was already too full to try everything. I didn't check the kitchen or restrooms, but the dining area looked clean. When we first walked in, the place looked empty, and my wife and I almost considered leaving. Just as we were about to head out, a server came over, seated us, and explained the menu. The $45 menu is extensive, featuring a wide variety of Vietnamese dishes such as escargot (ốc), pho, and bò né (Vietnamese sizzling beef steak), among many others. We ordered escargot with tamarind sauce, oysters with cheese, a lobster special, rau muống (water spinach) with garlic, glass noodles, and a ribeye steak. This isn't a typical buffet--each dish is cooked to order. It took about 15 minutes since there were only two chefs, but the wait was absolutely worth it. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and served piping hot. The lobster was a whole lobster with claws, and the ribeye was a generous cut served sizzling at the table. The portions are large, and our server kindly warned us ahead of time--we're glad we listened! The owner was friendly, and the service was attentive throughout our meal. We stuck to the beef and the pork belly which was very good, the beef not so much though. The buffet bar had plenty of options and sauces so that was a plus but unfortunately the lack of service really made this experience a two-start rating. We were greeted (dryly), seated, and left to figure out the confusing ordering sheet. Thankfully we have experience with HotPot and (sort of) figured it out and even after we expressed concern about how we were suppose to order/write down our meat selections per round (which they claim is unlimited but they only have 3 columns on the sheet) our questions remained unanswered. Trying to flag a waiter down to order more meat was a pain as hardly any were available and we were missing appetizers on our "second" but with the way the service was we figured there wasn't any point in bringing it up not to mention the lack of (flat) soda refills. I doubt we will be returning.

The value is definitely the main highlight, pricing is fair for AYCE and you get a decent variety of meats, veggies, and sides. For a casual hot pot night, it's hard to complain on cost alone. That said, there were a few things that made the experience a bit less smooth. Parking was a challenge since the plaza gets very busy, so it took a while to find a spot. Inside, the setup was also a little confusing at first the hot pot being built into the table takes some getting used to, and it made it slightly awkward to get the soup out comfortably while cooking. Food-wise, it was good, but the refill timing was inconsistent. A few items like meat and fruit ran out faster than expected, and we had to wait a while, sometimes close to 30 minutes for refills to come back out. Service was okay overall, just a bit slow during peak rush. Still, for the price point and AYCE format, it's a good deal. I'd come back, just with lower expectations on speed and pacing. 4 stars mainly for value.

Lowlights: they don't offer bbq - just hot pot. They only have 2 levels - $20 or $45. The basic meat is self-serve, but the premium meats came out all at once. There's a penalty for food waste. We got the premium option for hot pot dinner, all the meats came out at once already portioned for our group of 4. As nice as it is to not have to wait, it doesnt take into account that we would've wanted to pick and choose what to order and maybe abstained from some options to get refills of the options we did like. When the meats all come out at once, it's hard to know which is which. The only obvious distinguished proteins were the seafood, which is presented really nicely. The veggies/noodles/sauce bar weeds well stocked and had the typical toppings you want for your soup. For dinner, the restaurant seemed lean staffed, which was fine since it wasn't busy and we got seated in an obvious spot.
