I've been coming here since they first opened this cafe and always enjoyed the grill chZ with tomato soup but that's off the menu and it's been off for a while now too , I've come a different times and lately for the past three weeks I've been coming around 4/5:am I've had the rib eye and it's juicy tender and cooked to perfection (kudos to the graveyard cook !) however the em service has declined at each and every visit . Last week I sat at the bar and specifically told the Asian lady at the bar around 3:am that I would like my salad first and she seemed bothered the entire time . I got my coffee cold she said she didn't notice it was left out . My rib eye arrives then my salad arrives a few minutes later comes my coffee . No sight of management so I get up and ask the hostess if she can get my server since I needed my salad dressing from here service began to decline I never once seen the server (bartender) return and here comes another lady to follow up with me asking if it was tasting good so I let her know I had been waiting for my dressing mind you my main dish is getting cold since I specially asked for the salad first . She said sorry and left to get the dressing . At this point I noticed that everything else was going to be a worse experience I finally cut into my steak and it was rare . I asked for med well but got A bloody steak .. it's Kool for others who enjoy their meat cooked at that Temp . It looked good and juicy I tried to eat it but I just couldn't get to taking another bite . 30 minutes later returned the server ( bartender) I asked her for my check and I told her about my steak and she instead of asking me if anyone else helped she turned to a young man and told him that I was not happy with the steak and she then turned to me to say well you have to pay for your salad and coffee .. ( all this could've been prevented had she checked on me at least to see if I had gotten my meal right the first time and not wait for someone else to tell her . It's sad that a 5 star quality style restaurant has this kind of service and Its even sad to not see management touching tables no wonder the servers treat the guests the same way . That happened last week and this morning I'm here sitting again giving it another chance and thinking maybe it was an off kinda day for the employees but sadly it's only getting worse . I ordered the fries with asada and also a club sandwich and a coffee ( thank you Michael for starting a fresh pot of decaf !) I asked for my salad first and got the fries first again ! C'mon now . I get the fries and here come my server telling me I had to pay because it's close to 5 something am and all checks need to get closed or else it's going to be cash only payment and I won't be able to use any comps I'm like wth and I told him ok so you need me to close now ? I haven't even received my salad or my club sandwich smdh ! I gave him my card to close out my bill and give him his tip also without even receiving half my order ! This is ridiculous! This restaurant was such a great experience from the get go. I was quickly greeted by the hostess Reanna who was very friendly and seemed genuinely happy to be there. Once I sat the staff was very attentive and instantly took our drink order. Perfect Old Fashions!! Our waiter Irvin was beyond professional and friendly during our entire meal. It's like he knew we were going to ask for things before we even knew . The food was delicious and we even ended up getting dessert that we didn't need but definitely were glad we ordered!! I have patronized The Vista (as I call it) since its opening in July of 2021. I've watched this place evolve quickly. The service has always been more pleasing than other restaurants like it but has improved where I did not expect it to. It will not matter who your server is, you can expect at the very least, nearly perfect service! If you are not a Turquoise card holder, I highly recommend making a reservation between the hours of 7:30 AM - 11:00 PM daily, without one you will wait for a table for at least an hour, but usually longer. The food is ever evolving but I think they have perfected their technique and are good to go, the only thing I would say the need to do is ease up on the salt shaker a couple of dashes or so because some of us suffer from higher blood pressure than others and once they add too much, there's no way to remove it! They have a 2 egg dish that is always on the menu but oddly comes with french fries; hopefully they will update this to a more appropriate breakfast type of potato although they do substitute for fruit. Since they are open 24/7 now, late night eats are more accessible to you night owls, so dig in. There is definitely a plate for every palate and their Vegan items are starting to expand as well! I had a horrible experience here. The waitress maria was extremely rude. She checked up on every table in her section besides ours. We had to waive her down. I ordered a sandwich with a side of fries, no tomato, and cheese. My sandwich took over 35min to come out and there was no cheese on it. When I told her about it, she acted rude and annoyed but she took my sandwich back. The bill also has extra charges on it and once again she was rude when we asked her to fix it. The food was okay. I don't enjoy writing bad reviews. Many who report them, had one bad experience and everything is ruined. The gave 2 stars because their food is pretty good, the restaurant is nice, Yaamava is great with comp food, the servers and host in the restaurant most of the time are polite and courteous but slow on their feet sometimes. But, the TO GO ORDER service is the worst! Picking up your food, there's no clear indication which line to go on. You have customers in 3 different lines..trying to pick up thei order. I've ordered to go many times, 90% of my orders are missing something or it's wrong. They don't bother reading notes or request either...condiments for your food. (this isn't the worst part) The person getting your food, are always slow...not one time, did I ever see any of them move with a bit of urgency, even when there are people piling up waiting to pick up their order. The worst part, they don't have any process in time management. I've seen this time and time again. The staff member, will only take 1 customer at a time -he/she will ask for your order number, it takes a few minutes just to get an order, with a bag. And, they give you an attitude and tell you to be patient when the customers have been patiently waiting. Here's some suggestions: put the orders in numeric order, so it doesn't take a few minutes just to find the order. Be clear which line to be to pick up an order, so you don't have customers creating 3 freaking lines (vip line is bs, staff doesn't honor it) and maybe, take at least 2 order numbers at a time? You have to hands, most orders fit in 1 bag. Move with some urgency sometimes, show the customers you actually care about the he service you're providing. read more

I eat here relatively often. I have been helped by several different bartenders, usually get good service regardless of how busy they are and am always happy with the quality of the food. This particular time though i was helped by Samuel and was thoroughly impressed that despite me not being able to recall the last time he was my bartender, he remembered exactly which dish was my favorite. It's those little details that really make the experience feel personal and as someone who was once a server for many years, it's something I really appreciate and love seeing when I go out to eat. I experienced the worst diarrhea and nausea in decades after having a burger here last night. This was the only meal I ate yesterday and my stomach is like a tank, never breaks down. Almost called 911 as I felt I had to lie down on my bathroom floor. Luckily it's pretty much gone by day break. I guess it's impossible to completely avoid food poisoning no matter how much you take care or how clean the place is, just bad luck on my part. Anyway, with regards to the food, I was curious so I tried it but it turned out to be typical cafe food, not too bad, not too great. One thing excellent was the service. I'm a regular at this casino. Like literally I'm here too much. The Grove express at this Cafe for Togo orders is so pathetic. Overpriced and a very small menu and half the menu is out of stock. I waited to leave this review with the patience and chances I gave. They're out of cheesecakes, turkey wrap, clam chowder etc. Literally it's sad menu. So this Cesar salad is 14 dollars.. It's my second time ordering. First time was a slap in the face. Alright.. Maybe the worker who's packaging is just having a bad, lazy day.. Slide. Tonight, ordered it again. Same crap! $14 dollars for salad without meat.. Not only that... It's Cesar salad... I received ranch dressing which defeats the purpose of what we call Cesar salad! He was always there for us, checking on us and it was such a wonderful experience being served by him! He was very professional and at the same time let us feel so important and welcomed! Jose, another bartender as well did the same. He has a good customer service as well! But Samuel was our overall server and we truly enjoyed his services! Kudos Samuel!!! FYI 5 people in your party automatically adds 18% gratuity at Yaamava. For the third week in a row the Grove Express which is where you are supposed to be able to order to go from the Serrano Vista Cafe. It still show that it is open for mobile orders, but it will not accept any orders. The if you want to eat inside at this restaurant you must be a Black or Turquoise card holder or made reservations over a week ago. Yaamava has all of these ideas for restaurants etc. but they don't have the people to staff them. Now next week another place will be opening up with another four (4) eating places, service is already horrible in all of the eating places here. I can imagine how more worse the service will be when these other places open. It's just sad, because they take a lit if money from you were you almost have to eat there using the comps. Seems like they might have missed us because the host quickly went to speak with someone and sat us down shortly after. Today we visited YAAMAVA CASINO, Scott and his need to get his gambling fix... haha.... we were very suprised at how big, 2 stories packed full of all kinds of games, busy busy busy but clean and fun. We stopped by customer service and got or player cards with Brigette and she was wonderful. So very helpful even though we were in the VIP LINE. She was able to multitask actual VIP members and set us up with our cards at the same time. But you know when your having fun you need to eat to keep your stamina up. So, we choose The Serrano Cafe and to our suprise we had a great burger and Ruben sandwich. And I mean GREAT!!!! One of the best Rubens Ive ever had, not the usual with saurkraut but with coleslaw and I loved it. Daisy was our server, she was attentive, friendly and just an overall great person. I can say it was one of the best, if not best experience Ive had at a casino in a long time. We will definetely be coming here more often now that we know its so close to us. read more

Let me start with they have the rudest customer service up front I have ever seen. Then they always wanna seat me in the same small 2 seat table that's been broken forever and all they say is will fixed it. When next year now let me tell you about there disrespectful servers that hate there jobs and are always just chilling. Plus there managers are useless including there top manager Mary she never takes care of anything just let's her employees run her and this restaurant. So why have managers if they can resolve any issues just want to dust everything under the rug. Only good thing is there food but it will take almost 1 hour always just so you can eat your food. Same excuse always that the cook is backed up always then get him some real workers to help him not the lazy ones you got running around. Also make sure you checked your food because a couple times I've been served cooled wings , steak , and garlic fries. Didn't even get a apology for the double long wait since they had to make our food again. Only recommend this location if you like rude slow service and cold food.
