After a day of tasting in Paso, we stumbled across Serrano's small tasting room in the downtown area. This urban winery may be small and unassuming but their wines are juicy and delicious- easily the best we tasted during our entire Paso Robles trip. We opted for the $12 tasting (great price!) and received excellent service from Makenna. She told us the story behind the wines and winemaker and we appreciated the casual environment. Their wines are truly phenomenal. We walked away with a few bottles and were so pleased by both the experience and the tasty wines. My husband and I were in Fredericksburg for the holiday and saw the great ratings so decided to check it out before dinner. Definitely worth it!! Immediately you notice the great ambiance and the friendliness of the husband and wife owners. We opted for the wine flight to try a little bit of everything. It was immediately apparent that they take their wine seriously. Brice did a great job telling us about every wine and why they decided to create that particular bottle. You don't get that from the mass produced corporate owned vineyards and wineries. They had a variety of great wines that would please most palates. Definitely worth the visit. Absolutely love this place. I had been following Sarah and her wine on Instagram for months when I started planning my girls weekend to Paso. My friends and I wondered around downtown all day on a Saturday and finally we were able to pop in and try some wine. After trying two other Rosés all three of us agreed Serrano was our favorite (we bought 4 bottles between the 4 of us. Sarah and a friend were setting up for Serrano's 1 year anniversary but spent time chatting with us about the wine, dogs and whatever else came up. The wine tasting room is bright and lots of windows to enjoy the outdoors light while indoors. This must be fantastic when it gets really hot. We will definitely be heading back whenever we are in Paso. The wine was fantastic. My faves were the Rosé and the Horcrux! A must stop! read more

This is an adorable little tasting room. It's well-appointed but not over-the-top as some can be. My wife and I stumbled in here after eating and going to an art show and met the husband and wife couple that own and run the tasting room. We had a lot of fun telling stories back and forth to each other and we like they're engaging story about how they ended up in the wine industry and in this area in particular. The wines were amazing as I remember I love reds and I joke that the only way I like white wine is when I'm using it to rinse out my glass for more red. We talked about downtown Paso and all of the changes and how sad we were to see Artisan go and this new monstrosity of a restaurant come in. So when it was time to check out and we went to go settle up. The husband started to say $15 but the wife quickly said $30 and you could see that they had a look of a bit of disagreement among themselves. The husband obviously has more business sense and realizes that we are locals and you have to rely on your locals when the season slows down. We probably would have bought a couple of bottles of wine or been interested in going in more often if they would have shown some respect to local consumers. So if you are a Bako coming into taste you some vino, get drunk, and Annie out town for the weekend please go spent your money here. If you're a local at least go once, maybe you will benefit from the knowledge I have imparted. read more

We love the Vibes and the wines that they have here. It is very centrally located unlike other wineries and it stays open late I think until 7:30 p.m. Comfortable chairs and a very cool decor. It is in an area where you can just go next door or maybe cross the street to eat if you need some. We immediately join the wine club when we saw how nice and comfortable it was.
