THE BIG: Literally a safari winery right off the 290 wine strip. Tall ceilings with taxidermy animals on the wall and floors. Big backyard with a concert venue and live animals to see! THE BLACK AND WHITE: I came here with the wife and a couple of friends visiting from out of town. There was a members pick up party and they were super nice to let us in and enjoy the wines. The wines here are a variety from South America, South Africa, and Texas. For the wine tasting, we got to choose from five of the wines except for the ones with a asterisk. My favorites were the pinotage and the chenin blancs from south africa. Afterwards, we went outside to the back to see the kangaroos getting shade underneath the trees from the hot sun. They're alot smaller than I imagine but very cute. THE FINAL BAMBOO: The entrance and a wine tasting was around $30 and let me tell you, this was a fun time! A fun winery featuring South African and Chilean wine! My husband, friends and I stopped by on a Saturday. They were closed for a pick up party, but they lets us stay and hang for $10pp. The wine was not too bad in my option. They have a ton of different wines, but the wine club only bottles are the best. The restaurant is covered with taxidermy all over the walls. Best part, they have kangaroos in the back it get really hot in the winery, so bring a fan! read more

We loved this place! We'd stopped here on a previous visit and enjoyed it, so we figured we'd try it again - this time with our small older dog. Safari Winery is dog-friendly. They have a lot of outdoor seating - all of which is suitable for dogs. We took advantage of that. Tinker loved being with us and she enjoyed the space. As the sun got more intense in our outdoor space, we asked if we could bring little Tinker indoors. They said 'yes'. They were so kind about it. It helps that Tinker is a small dog and super friendly and a non-barker. Joslyn was our server and she was very kind and helpful. On our next visit to Fredericksburg, we'll definitely be back to Safari Winery. read more

We came here on a Sunday for one of their wine pick up events. Our friends are members. This winery was absolutely amazing. Place was poppin! So much hustle and bustle and vibes were just on point. We got to do a wine tasting of 4 wines. They took care of us relatively quickly. Their wines were full bodied and smooth. I did not try anything that I didn't like.
