My insurance recommended this company and the first part where they tore out and dried out the wall went well. BUT the second part where they restore what they tore out was AWFUL. The first crew broke my shower pan in the initial treatment, however, I was ok with that part because the crew was professional and polite. BUT dealing with the restoration/construction department has been beyond ridiculous and highly unprofessional - I was treated so rudely by Blake, who came to assess the project and give me a bid. When I spoke to Blake on the phone about his bid today and suggested some changes I would like he got very condescending and impatient. He was very eager to leave for Vegas today and obviously did not want to change the items on my bid. He made it clear I was not very important to him and I was an irritant. He actually scoffed at my ideas for my own house. He told me how ignorant I was, they wouldn't do what I wanted and I should go find someone else (and I did find someone else, I found 3 other bigger companies today actually, that said my ideas were very do-able and that Blake was wrong.) When I hung up with Blake, I called Christina (the head honcho) twice, I left 2 voice mails and she never called me back. All I can say is, RUN don't walk AWAY from this company's restoration/construction department.... I have built several homes in my life and flipped them and think Blake was just mad that I didn't want to be taken advantage of but why didn't Christina call me back? Do not use this company for any home repairs. The general contractor they sent was unprofessional and I'm honestly not sure they're even using licensed contractors to do repairs. The workers that they have show up don't know what they're doing and the repairs are done sloppy and improperly. They don't show up on days they say they would. It's like they're just bringing in random workers that aren't trained to do repairs. Do your research and go with real contractors that knows what they're doing. read more

We had a flood. Our Home Insurance sent this service out. Four hours after discovery, Jesse's Team was on the job! It's devastating to walk into your home treading water. They understood this. He introduced his team, what they were going to do, got a clearance signature, and went to work. A team of four cleared the water in a matter of hours. They then worked with us each day for a little less than a month to dry to dry the house. Almost $7,000 to do a basic dry out of floors and walls in a small condominium. Removed carpet, padding and baseboards from one room. Two other rooms had baseboard removed from one wall each and minimal flooring pulled up from one + carpet rolled back from the other. So we had a total of 3 rooms + garage that had dryers and dehumidifiers for nearly a week. Floors and walls were verified dry per the moisture device yet we still discovered mold behind the shutter when we had the installers here a few days ago. I don't understand why Servicemaster removed baseboards for the dry out but not the shutter. I had to practically beg to receive a work estimate and was surprised to have the total come in nearly $2,000 higher than expected. The office staff is defensive and insists they are right about everything. I would never recommend this company! read more

My insurance company had this company call me the night I experienced water damage on two floors. I spoke to Jesse and when I asked if he came out would he be bringing fans - he said no, he could give me an estimate. Knowing from previous water damage (non-insurance) that drying everything is the first step, I ended up delaying having them come for over a week because I was not clear on the insurance process. The hero of this debacle is Basilio Chavez as I finally selected this office as they could come quicker than my other choices. Basilio is a professional and excellent at his job. He came with Gladys and prepped the areas and installed the equipment with efficiency and care, installed the machinery and explained every step of the process. Basilio was a delight to work with and I appreciate his kindness in the face of my distress. And, I did not get mold!!! read more

Worked with Jesse Carillo, Humberto, Hector, and Dasiy. Product: (+1 Positive). Work product is a service. I.e. their ability to respond to a home/office loss and mitigate the damage. Servicemaster worked efficiently to remove the furniture from the damaged area and sectioned off (using heavy plastic materials) the damaged area where the driers/blowers would be operating, preventing dust from circulating throughout the house. They did a great job covering all of the other furniture and anticipating where dust can get into and covering those areas with plastic as well. Price: (+1 Positive). Servicemaster's work was covered by my insurance however, I did see how much they charged for the amount of work they did, and the price was reasonable. Customer Experience: (+1 Positive). All of the associates mentioned above were professional and courteous. I asked them to let me know 30 minutes in advance, before they arrived and on one occasion, I saw them parked outside because it had not yet been 30 minutes since they text messaged me. ServiceMaster got us out of a bind several years ago when a pipe burst in our 22,000 square foot printing business while we were out of town. An employee called and notified us of the problem and we thought we would have to catch the next flight home; however, with one call to ServiceMaster our fears were put to rest. The owner, Todd Russell, told us there was no need to fly home early and that every thing would be taken care of... which it was. Todd and his team of professionals took care of the water that was an inch or more deep throughout most of our building. These guys are total flakes. They were supposed to come on a Tuesday to give me a bid, but didn't show up. Therefore, we rescheduled for the following day. They showed up this time and represented that they would get a bid to me for the demo/remediation work I needed by end of the day. I had a few other bids, but Servicemaster by TA Russell represented that they would come in at a lower price -- so I waited. When the bid did not come in, I called the project manager the following day to inquire as to the status. I was promised the bid later that day, so again I waited. The following day, after not receiving the bid, I called again and was told that they would call me back in five minutes. No return call. I called back and was sent to voicemail. I thereafter sent a few texts to no avail. In the mean time I tried calling the other companies to see if they could start the work. However, b/c of Servicemaster by TA Russell's delay and representations, the other companies were not available to start for another week. Thus, I've been delayed at least one and a half to two weeks due to these guys, costing me a ton of money. Not worth it. read more

I agree with Jonathan M! They have excuses for everything. Their favorite is their fork lift broke down so they cannot make it to the site. They lost pieces to my furniture ,they broke some furniture they even pack up stuff you tell them not to because its going in the trash. WTF. They charge for goods and services they don't do . I moved three pieces of furniture and put in a storage unit that were heirlooms. They still charged me for packing ,cleaning charging me $200.00 did they give me credit on my bill HELL NO. These guys are a bunch of snakes. My advice - hire a maid service and store your belongings yourself. They promise everything and deliver nothing. read more
