We are a Project management and remodeling company that work with main contractors performing remodeling jobs! We did multiple project with early Bird DBA Servpro of Plano unfortunately they just pay for the very first project we did for them and give just a money draw on the other ones promising quick final payments of labor and material by the end. Even with owners signed completion sheet they keep avoiding payment in some cases for over 2months. These issues put our company on a situation where we are obligated to put lien on the properties causing discomfort to their own customer. Even their own customer are not receiving any answers or explanation of the issues. I will up date this review on every changes. Our fitness studio was forced to shut down as a result of the neighboring restaurant catching fire. We had water damage and smoke odor that needed to be cleared in order for us to reopen. It was a stressful situation and the ServPro Plano team helped to easy my concerns. Honestly, the customer service I received from the team (including, but not limited to JB, Lisa, John, Jimmy, Broderick, and Andrew) is the best I've experienced in quite a while. We were able to open in a few days and my customers noted they could not smell anything when we opened back for business. I would recommend them to anyone dealing with a stressful mess. We woke up this morning to a disaster. Floors were wet, water all over the whole house. Service pro of Plano came to our rescue. We were referred to CWF by A#1 Air. Project Manager Oscar showed up to assess the damage later that same day (Wednesday, Jan 17th)and walked us through the process. During his time here, we contacted our insurance company to file a claim which was initiated within 20 minutes with a representative over the phone. Since Oscar was present, it facilitated communication. Oscar gave us a two-hour window between 8am and 10am and said that we should expect to receive a call from dispatch informing us that they are on their way. He also took a series of pictures before he left so that he could inform the crew of the events that transpired. On Saturday, January 20th, the mitigation crew removed a portion of the engineered flooring that was affected and promptly placed industrial fans on and around it. They informed us that they would be back to pick up the equipment (in 4 days) after the area has completely dried and answered any questions we had. Kris, Sheldon, Gabriel, and Oscar were professional and knowledgeable - explaining everything about the process and I appreciate the time and patience they took on a Saturday morning to help us. We are going to go with CWF for restoration as well.

Sadly, the owner of Nick's passed away and this company is now owned by Dunrite. I called that company based on the reviews of Nick's Air Services, but their services has definitely NOT been the same as mentioned on this profile. In summary, this company is expensive, can make improper recommendations, and the office is very difficult to get anyone to call you back. I absolutely would not use them again in the future and - had I read their Yelp profile for Dunrite Heating & Cooling - would never have called them in the first place. My experience: My air conditioning due to leaked refrigerant due to another HVAC technician not correct. Nick's/Dunrite came out during the same day and quickly identified the problem. There was a leak on the schrader valve. They got us back to running - for nearly $200/per pound of refrigerant. 5 lbs = about $1,000. Wow, but we had no choice as my original installer was not available. Our unit has not been keeping up with the 90s for the past two months and the technician recommended 3 different options. I chose 2 of the 3 options: a larger return air duct AND repairing the plenum. I was anxious to get the work scheduled and it took me hounding them to get them to schedule the work. Communicating with this office was very painful. I would never get calls back and would just get a text message indicating when they had scheduled the appointment. Their front desk support was exceedingly helpful but not empowered to do anything besides schedule appointments and pass along info. I finally had the appointment and the technician went to the wrong address. I got a call from them saying they had been at my house and then they proceeded to the next job. I spoke to them and learned they were at the wrong house, but could not turn around to go back to my house. I had to wait until the following week to get the appointment rescheduled. What a disaster. It got worse. The work was finally done - the return air duct and the plenum. I waited a couple of days, but there was NO change in the air conditioning. I called them back again and they scheduled another technician to come out. The second technician came out, a more senior technician, who confirmed that the unit was undersized and "working as it was designed" to cool at 75-76. I don't know a single person who is comfortable with 75-76 in the house when the outside is in the 90s. I called customer service again. When I finally got someone, I got a call from William, who is their most senior technician (an older guys in his late-50s probably). He came out with the original technical and instructed him how to properly do a heat load calculation. They determined indeed the unit is undersized and I needed a 3 ton. I called back the customer service asking for a refund to the work. I've called at least 3-4 times, each time speaking with a very nice person. However, I've still not been called back. What a disaster. I've finally had to resort to filing a complaint with my credit card and disputing it through them. It's unfortunate and I didn't want to have to do this, but - when no one will call you back - it's very very hard to trust this company to make things right.

HOMEOWNERS BEWARE-NEVER USE SERVPRO OF PLANO AND CONTACT ANOTHER SERVPRO. INSIST IF THIS IS ASSIGNED BY YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY!!!! We used SERVPRO of Plano for damage and total loss and were so upset to know that these so called "professionals" helped themselves to contents in our home- artwork,jewelry,sports memorabilia, silver pieces and flatware,dinnerware and crystal stemware/giftware,furniture,and many irreplaceable sentimental items/heirlooms that were in our family for decades( 2 pieces over a century). We were in such shock from the damage that when the owner John told us not to worry and not stay and that they would take care of it,well We,REGRETTABLY!, trusted this owner and his bonded and insured "professionals". Now sadly we regret we did because they took so many things. We take the responsibility of leaving them alone but who would believe that when a family is in shock and devastated over the loss of a home ,that a company would further add to this loss by filling their vans and trucks with items NOT GIVEN,BUT TAKEN! 0 stars wasn't an option. There is not a single good thing to say about this location. Pam is the office manager, but can't manage to call a customer back for weeks. Jimmy the sales manager is a total dope, typical sales manager drops you like a rock after they have your money. we have been waiting weeks to have them send someone to finish the work they started. I wouldn't suggest this place to my worst enemy. I wouldn't ever give this place a cent more of my money. They do an amazing job at showing customers they don't give a F$&@ about them. 10/10 with poor service for sure. 0/10 in every other category. read more

A recent hail storm caused some roof damage and broke our skylight. Water came into our master bedroom. We called our insurance and they recommended this company. I got on the Servpro of McKinney website and saw that they were open on a Sunday. They came out, did lots of tests and set out dehumidifiers. Were back the next day to check on everything. Thank goodness everything was dry! They returned today, right on schedule to finish up. Their techs and staff are friendly and courteous and very professional. I highly recommend this company!

Response from the business was lacking (see attached). They were "unable to service," and do not work weekends. I guess that means no quote on the work and future Fridays are out, too? We found Superior online and called right away. They were there within the next 2 hours to start pulling all the water out of the carpets and areas that were underwater.
