We had the leak itself fixed by Tonka Plumbing, and requested an estimate from Loyear for the remediation work. When Gary showed up, he had a mask, booties, everything you'd expect in 2020. He listened to what our issues were, inspected the damage, pulled out his cool infrared gadget, and gave us his estimate. The surprise came when he then told us that - as much as no business likes to turn down business - our issue was one we could probably handle ourselves. Instead of simply taking our money, he suggested that we give it a go, and call him back if the issue turned out to be larger than we were comfortable handling on our own. So there you have it. 5-star review for a company I never actually hired -specifically because of an estimator's honesty and frankness. He allowed us time to pick out our carpet from a wide array of samples and was helpful in the selection process.
