This is a firmly casual atmosphere- part café, part bierhall, part grocery, and most importantly- Curated Wine Shoppe. The ambience- bloody enormous! It was an auto garage! The outdoor patio is also large- standard Bierhall bench seating or stand overlooking the river and 'Free Bridge', as the locals colloquially refer to it. Pagoda to keep the sun off. The café- standard coffee options, and a few pastries. I believe the pastries used to be done in house (a couple had Moroccan flavours), but now, done by the wonderful duet Pie+Tart. The Bierhall- firstly- they stock Ayinger. This is my favourite Braurei in Germany. Nothing pleases me more than to see several brews- especially the Brauweiß. There are about 15 beers from which to choose, most being less common/higher quality German Brews. There are also some American brews by Von Trapp in Vermont- who also focus on German styles. Good prices. Served in the proper Becher glassware- or suck on a bottle. The Grocery- focusing on Australian dry goods and some necessities. This harkens back to the old Silk Mill location- sans the candies. I've bought some higher quality spices here. THE Wine Shoppe. Since this part of the venture opened, it has become my go-to for most of my wine. He stocks wine which you will not see anywhere else. The focus is on Austrian/German, and Australian wines. Cheap to expensive. Walking the horseshoe from left to right, you start in the White Brut/Sekt, to the Grüner, to the Red /Rot Sekt. In the centre are the cheaper wines, and a good amount of Rosé. While I say cheaper, that does not mean inferior by any means. One of our household favourites has become Fritz's Rosé. I will take the time to discuss the Wines mostly- I was introduced to many Weingut here- Moric, George Breuer, Fritz and many others. The selection rotates, but there are some mainstays. Try to find the proprietor- Jason- walk the Shoppe with him and ask questions. I have never once been steered astray. The focus thankfully is the drier side of Wine- Old and New World. You will not be inundated with the same rubbish Napa Valley and PA wines other proprietors carry. This Shoppe is for those who have an Old World palette and feel the necessity to always pay restaurant premiums. Remember, at a restaurant, you are paying for the wine, plus the storage, Som, and service. You can also buy chilled wine. You can also buy wine to consume there (different list due to LCB Legalities).

We dined at Sette Luna last night for the first time and had a really nice dinner. We are always searching for good places to dine and Sette Luna did not disappoint. We did not try the pizza, but neighboring tables were oohing and ahhing over their pizzas, so its definitely on the list for our next visit - though with all the great appetizers and dinner entrees - we might just skip the pizza again. We all choose appetizers from the specials list - warm octopus salad, goat cheese stuffed figs and an heirloom gazpacho with lump crab. All were very good. For dinner: veal shank, pasta in an herb pesto, wood fire roasted salmon and one of the pasta specials which was outstanding: orchette, jumbo shrimp, heirloom tomatoes, fresh corn in a sherry cream sauce with mint and purple basil. To say I enjoyed this dish would be an understatement. Our waitress was very good and friendly. When we inquired about seeing the wine cellar for a future birthday party, she immediately offered to take us to see it and gave us a tour. There was a slight confusion on my entree order, but it was corrected gracefully and quickly and manager/owner checked in on us to make sure everything was okay. The atmosphere was very lively and we enjoyed being in the dining room with the open kitchen. I was surprised to see reviews elsewhere say the staff is snobby. We didn't have that feeling at all. The hostess greeted us warmly, bartender - although very busy was pleasant and our waitress was very friendly and accommodating. The owners of this restaurant are the most arrogant, foolish business owners I have come across in a long, long time. We are very frequent patrons of upscale local restaurants, and have been so put off by Josh, that we will NEVER EVER go back to Sette Luna, and will tell everyone we know to avoid this restaurant. Several months ago, I attempted to book a party of 25+ people for a special event. When I called, I was told that only Josh deals with the party room. When I simply asked if it was booked for the night I needed, I was stearnly told that "only Josh deals with the party room". I attempted to leave my name and phone number, and was told that "Josh does not work that way". I could not believe they would not even take down my phone number. The next day I finally got a hold of Josh, and he told me that he had heard about my phone call with his staff member and would not allow us to book a party at Sette Luna. I then picked up the phone and booked a $3k+ party at Oceans, about one block down the street and had a fantastic night. Good food get you far, but only so far...bad management can also sink an otherwise good thing. read more

I have been here a number of times already and LOVE the food and the atmosphere! I can't ever recall having to pay for bread, even second baskets of it. We have asked for extra plates to share things and have never had a problem...we've even split bills up (one cash/one credit) without a problem. If you go there on the weekends you could be in for a wait, but we've never waited that long....I've waited longer to get into the Olive garden. It is true they don't have a kids menu, but we just give the kids whatever we are eating. This is one of those places where there are sooo many good things on the menu, it's hard to decide what you want. I've had the butternut squash ravioli and shrimp pasta specials, bologenese, and many of their appetizers, and salads. Never had a bad thing there....never had bad service. read more

I have lived in the valley now for 8 years originally from just outside NYC. Sette Luna is my wife's and my favorite Italian food out here. Its nice to dine in a restaurant who knows what real Italian food should be. Instead of the (al be it delicious sometimes) standard Italian American fare. I usually order off the specials list which changes frequently and features beautiful seasonal ingredients. If I go to the menu its always Josh's pizza. soprisotta, truffle and fresh egg....delicious!. My only critique would be bread on the tables. I love the assorted olives that currently come with dinner but would love some bread out of that beautiful wood fired oven. Keep up the good work. P.S. I hear they are opening a French restaurant in town, cant wait. read more

I heard about this place from a few people and me and my husband have been trying to get to Easton for a year now, finally yesterday we came!!! We couldn't wait to try this restaurant but unfortunately we left disappointed :-( I ordered their special brick oven fig stuffed with goat cheese over arugula (appetizer), I was looking for my goat cheese and I couldn't find it. My husband asked for the shrimp and broccoli rabe as an entree over pasta, he got two shrimps, some broccoli rabe and a little pasta. We had the fig goat cheese pizza and arugula, interesting but again where is the goat cheese??? They are NOT GENEROUS at all. I must say that their oven brick pizza crust is good. I don't know if I want to drive 37 minutes just to eat a pizza. read more

I've dined at Sette Luna in Downtown Easton multiple times, and each visit has been consistently fantastic. Whether for dinner takeout or dine-in, Sette Luna delivers on both quality and flavor. The Margherita pizza is a standout, with its lightly baked crust and perfectly balanced toppings. Pair it with the Sette salad for a satisfying meal that never disappoints. The service at Sette Luna is always excellent, and the cozy atmosphere adds to the overall dining experience. Their treatment of families and the handicapped is unacceptable. I feel robbed and sad after my experience at this place; I feel discriminated . We were prepared to drop some serious $ and order the majority of the menu, but we won't be returning now. You obviously need to cool your staff down (and the owener who doesn't think he can engage with patrons) , they are a little too hot tempered from that brick oven of yours. read more

Regardless of the quality of the food, the way I was treated completely overshadowed the experience. I will not be returning.
