Sette Luna hits the nail on the head when it comes to Italian food. Own and ran by a husband and wife combo it definitely has a family feel. Food is great and wine list is extensive in affordable italian wines. The wife is a Sommelier so she has some nice finds on the list as well as a few classics too. Got there for a lunch with my wife and kids during the visit to Crayola Factory. The female waiter was pretty rude and looked like we were a nuisance, not cherished customers. The ordered pizza was overcooked and looked too thin. It was like eating a toilet paper. No bread or straws were offered. Instead of salad, they have brought us a weird piece of mozzarella that was awkwardly prepared. We left frustrated. I would not recommend this place if you look for something tasty and authentic. read more

Service was very good and staff was friendly. Perhaps the issues mentioned previously have been resolved. It was very busy, but we did the call ahead and only had to wait 10-15 minutes. Food was very good. My wife had the Salmon, which melted in your mouth, I had the Bolognese(sp?) which was very good as well. Portions were a perfect size, not too big and not too small. Prices are very reasonable. Great selection of beers and Chocolate Mousse was awesome. We will definitely be heading back here again. read more

Brought by a friend and to be honest this would be 5 Stars IF the staff was more pleasant. The salads, truffle Pizza were exquisite. I can't say a word against the location or the ambiance because it is quite charming, but the service and food is always hit-or-miss for dinner. The flavors, portion sizes, and presentation of the dishes seems to always be lacking in some aspect - not the best value in Lehigh Valley dining. I eat plenty of great Italian meals at home so I usually turn down invitations to italian restaurants, but my friends wanted to go. I've been there twice now for lunch and have been very pleased. Easy to find parking during the day, staff wasn't friendly but was courteous, prices were on the high side but the food was good and well portioned. Have read many reviews about nasty attitudes but maybe that's when they're busy at night. Will probably avoid dinner there because of the long wait times. One of the gems of Easton. read more

They list several things on the menu that are gluten-free but they are basically just salads. No gluten free pasta or pizza. Was disappointed in that. We just returned from 10 days in Italy and you could get gluten-free pasta & bread just about anywhere. My pet peeve is when the waitress doesn't serve your food, a bunch of other people show up and ask who gets what. Not a professional restaurant tactic. Very disappointing. First problem--the service. This is the third time I have eaten at Sette Luna, and there is something very subtly condescending about the service that is extremely grating--very "we are hip and you are not." Subtle, but unmistakable. Second problem--guy at the next table wearing his baseball cap--really? I am paying $50 to sit next to some clown who doesn't have the manners to remove his hat at dinner? Unacceptable. Have a dress code. Are you that desperate for clients? Third, and worst problem--the acoustics at this restaurant make it impossible to have a conversation when the restaurant is more than a quarter full. My wife and I went there thanks to a suggestion from a friend. We checked out some reviews here and other places and the common theme was food was good, service was suspect. The atmosphere was very pleasant when we arrived. The hostess and waitress were both very friendly. We ordered a mozzarella, basil, balsamic appetizer. It was great. For an entree, I had the Bolognese. It was easily the best pasta dish I ever had in my life. The sauce itself was amazing but what really made the dish was the fresh taste of the noodles themselves. You could taste the egg. It was simple and perfect. My wife had Margherita pizza. It was fantastic as well, though she agreed the Bolognese was the star of the evening. We also had the cheesecake for dessert. That too was just perfect. Smooth, creamy with great flavor. I can't give this place a full 5 stars. The food is 5 star worthy but the service, though not as terrible as some have reported, is not 5 star worthy. I do find it a little annoying that bread is not provided. The waitress we had was good, just not great. Overall, I highly recommend this place. read more

This restaurant has been one of my favorites for several years now. I absolutely adore their deliciously seasoned, wonderfully flavorful, brick oven pizzas. Each one I've had is fantastic. They have great, thoughtful and creative food, particularly the specials, from appetizers and salads to entrees. I have always found the wait staff to be knowledgable about the food and drink served, and many seem definitively interested in such. The wine list is impressive, as is the extensive beer list. The bad news is that this gem of a restaurant doesn't take reservations, so you'll have to arrive early or plan to hang at the little sunken bar in the back. To me, it is totally worth it. read more

We dined at Sette Luna for the first time last night. What a wonderful experience. The lighting, music and service were perfect. Our server was friendly, attentive but not suffocating. We started with the artichoke appetizer special. For entrees we had the pizza special and butternut squash ravioli. The pizza was cooked perfectly and the raviolis were delicious. Great food, but horrible service by snooty girls who are unprofessional. Also, they charge $5 for a bread basket when it should come with the meal when you order pasta... come on! Who gets one slither of bread with a pasta meal? Also, pass on the cheese plate - overpriced small place of cheese with OMG...... no bread! One last note. If you order a wine bottle special. I too really wanted to like this place but the service and food were awful. This evening we called ahead to find out what the wait was like and the hostess told us not bad. She said 30 minutes if we put our name in then We put our name in and arrived 30 minutes later. When we arrived they said it would be another 30 minutes, which tuned into another 60 minutes. The hostess was completely oblivious to what was going on and continued to tell every patron that walked in the restaurant that the wait was 30 minutes when in fact the wait was 60-90 minutes. Unbelievable.. When we were finally seated it took another 10 minutes for our waitress to appeasr. She was nice but only appeared at our table twice during the rest of the meal. Awful... We ordered Terry's pizza which looked great on the plate. However when we took a bite it was like biting into a pile of salt. It was hands down the saltiest meal I had ever tasted. Awful.... We also ordered the steak, which was ok but was covered with scoops of cheese surrounded by beans. The oddest combination of favors. Luckily we could easily scrape off the cheese. I know that other guests were leaving unhappy because the table behind us had such a bad experience that the manager came to the table to apologize and cut their bill in half . A nice gesture but no substitute for a ruined evening. Unfortunately no manager came by our table to apologize for our horrible experience. read more

We never even got a table. Our first visit didn't turn out as expected. We called ahead tonight and were told the wait was about 5 minutes for a party of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids). We arrived about 10 minutes later and were told the wait was now 20-30 minutes. We understand this as it's not unusual that the call ahead thing doesn't really buy you anything. So we went to wait in the bar area as we were instructed. 35 minutes later, when the hostess had only come back to seat two tables, I asked how much longer, the hostess said there were still two large (4 or more) tables ahead of us and it was going to be at least 20 minutes more. So we left and won't be back. 5 minutes turned into 20-30 minutes which turned into at least an hour. Not good. Maybe the food is good, but we'll never know. read more

I called for a reservation, they said they dont but take them but you can call 30 minutes ahead. I called at 5:30, got there at 6. When I arrived, they told me it would be 20-30 Minutes. We went to the bar and asked for a glass of white wine, 4 glasses of wine was almost $60. We finally got seated at 7:15. Got two small pizzas ($12 each) which were very good. If you go on a Saturday night or when there is an event at the State Theater, plan on waiting a while, and watch what you drink, the wine is way overpriced. Paying $60 for 4 glasses of wine, and $24 for pizza didnt seem quite right. But, live and learn, other than that its a nice place. read more

A pleasant surprise for visitors from New York! We were in the area for a visit to the Crayola Experience, and looking for Italian food/ pizza. Sette Luna has excellent pizza: crisp crust but still a little chewy, fresh cheese and sauces, and creative combinations (loved the pesto and potato!) Only negative was VERY slow service - docked a star for that (we were there for lunch), but the wait staff was friendly. read more

I haven't been here in a few years because you can't make a reservation and I prefer not to wait in line. They still offer the fig appetizer and it is a must! Well deserving of 5 stars. The chef is very proficient. You may find parking to be difficult here on the weekends but when it's found it will be worth your time spent. GREAT beer and drink menu. If you fancy tasty beers and mixed drinks then this is your place. Some very exclusive beers will be found here. The wood fired pizza is phenomenal. The other entrees are prepared in such a delicious way that disappointment will be truly hard to find. If you have a date, bring them here. read more

Amazing food. The staff was also incredible when we had our private party there. I highly suggest if your looking for somewhere with great food and privacy for your next event, these guys do it right. The private back room has a private bar area for you and your guests. It didn't feel like we were even in a restaurant. The staff was friendly and attentive to our guests. A lot of value for your buck, we left with so much food and every single guest couldn't believe how much there was to eat. Even something as simple as pizza they do it above and beyond.
