Had a really nice meal here last night with some wonderful outside candlelight dining. This place has so much charm and there is the neatest little wine bar that I would most certainly take advantage of on a cold night. The waiter was very kind and attentive and he didn't mind that we talked for a while before ordering. We ended up ordering appetizers and then the pizza with goat cheese spinach and chicken which was wood-fired and the crust was just really really fresh. Food is very good but is outweighed by the arrogance of the manager, the uncooperative staff, and the mind splitting loudness. We recently tried to make a reservation for 14 people for 4:00 on a Sat. You would think they would have been thrilled but they just said call 30 mins before we arrived and it should be fine. We called 3 times during the week and were told the same thing. Then, 30 mins before we were to arrive, we called as directed and was told they could not seat us. After some explaining, they finally agreed, but the tone was set. We were in a nice back room where it was just us but the music was so loud we literally could not speak. We politely asked the manager Josh, to lower the music twice. He refused and said that is how they like it. I've eaten all over the world and never encountered a manager so rude....even in France!!! He is a Manhattan want-to-be with a side of Napoleon complex. Then after dinner the waitstaff rushed us out the door and literally moved us from table and set it while we were still there. The food was good but ruined by the attitude of the staff, lead by their manager, Josh. We will not return while Josh is there and though they were very busy, with Josh at the helm, it will be short-lived. There are too many choices to put up with such nonsense. read more

Sette Luna is a rustic Italian place with wonderful food - the grilled octopus salad at lunchtime is awesome! Service is good, timely and friendly, and the ONLY reason it's 4 stars instead of 5 is the noise level. They could possibly use to put some baffling up on the walls to absorb the sound. Went on Mother's Day without my mom...needless to say place was really loud! I thought the artichoke was outta this world- boyfriend thought it was meh... A little to oily for him. This restaurant is always my go to for great drinks and delicious and memorable food! I have never gotten anything here that I did not like, however, here are a few of my favorites. Drinks - aviation and the "o" martini . Apps- the BEST calamari (not fried just the way I like it). The best mozzarella al forno. Pizza- I love them all, especially the Torino Bianca and the Franco. The salads are all well crafted and full of flavor! The staff is always welcoming and happy to help you in any way they can. Can't say enough about Sette! I will continue to come back! They corrected the bill (food not itemized btw with only total amount due, which was unusual) with attitude and never apologized. Servers jokingly laughed/yelling out as guests left. If you're looking for traditional Italian food then this place won't disappoint. We were told by the locals that they had amazing wood cooked pizzas so we just had to give it a try. Fresh mozzarella added to any pizza makes it 10x better. The sauce was good, flavor was fantastic, and the service was exceptional. My only complaint since I drink alot of water is for bigger cups. Had to get mine refilled so frequently, but the waitress was on top of it and had it refilled before I knew it. For an authentic Italian restaurant the food comes out really quick. Every salad I've had is well above average, and the wine list is deep. The the reason to go to Sette Luna is their pizza. I've been most every place, Naples included, and nearly all of the fabled places in New York (but not--yet!--Di Fara's in Queens) and this place is my vote for the best pizza I've had. Maybe it's neck and neck with Chez Panisse's Cafe in its heyday. Which is to say I can't imagine it being any better. read more

I've eaten here a few times recently. The service is better, and they're a bit more willing to accommodate requests for kids. On one recent occasion, the server was friendly and attentive during the meal, but it took forever for the check to come. The couple eating next to us eventually chased down the owner and asked him to bring the check. So there's still room for improvement. I should also note that Josh's Bianca pizza with truffles, fried eggs, and soppressata is indulgent and addictive. read more

We have always had a good experience with the food - it has been consistent every time. Agree on the staffing issue - when it gets crowded, service starts to go downhill. Quaint restaurant - don't bring the kids if you can help it (a little crowded). Love the olives and I always request the bread even though we have to pay for it. I've always wanted to come here and it did not disappoint! Service was quite personable. Food was delicious; the antipasto plate was tremendous. I loved the endless olives, very nice touch! The only thing that turned me off was the tip suggestions. I thought that listing tips conversions in the range of 30% was tacky and totally incongruent with the rest of my overall experience there. The front of house and wait staff were good but not nearly as good as the food. Certainly not 30% worthy. That said, it didn't impede on my experience. Great food but but but...let me add a few points to the dinner that might get your feathers ruffled. -the bread costs. That is not a typo, the only Italian rest that does this, Olive Garden for god sakes gives it to you. If you consider three olives a good alternative then you shouldn't review restaurants. -the place is so dark my Latina girlfriend looked black...hard to enjoy the food as well because the dim lighting was overkill. -the bathrooms are in Italian after my gf told me I went into the ladies lol. -peach nectar was awesome but they give you a child's portion had to order two just to satisfy my thirst...FYI a 32 oz of organic peach nectar is $3.29 at wegmans and they charged $2 for each tiny glass. The little things do count. I still tipped 50% so I'm not cheap but wanted to tell you that portions are not Paolo's or Stefano's. Cheap but amazing is the mantra of Sette Luna. This is one of my favorite restaurants. The food is always great and the service is very good. They have a nice selection of beer and specialty drinks. They offer nice specials including salads, the occasional risotto balls (amazing), and pizzas. My boyfriend and I go on a monthly basis and our go-to is a salad each and a margherita pizza to share. Their brunch is also very good and I strongly remcommend it (with a fresh fruit juice bellini!). read more

I'd give it a 3.5. My first impression was that I liked the decor, ambiance with terra cotta floors, lots of wood and art on the walls. It's a small place and I was there for lunch. It was very loud for the size place it was. The conversations just bounced off the floors. Our waitress was very attentive, to the point, that, when we were finished eating we realized how early it was and that we had been rushed. My friend and I, both ordered the Sangria. It was ok and served in a small rock glass. I love Sangria and wasn't impressed with the size of the glass or the drink inside of it. I ordered the Chicken and Cranberry salad. It was very large and a really good salad. The salad had large clumps of chicken, like from a rotisserie. It was a filling salad - one that I was happy I didn't order any soup with. We accidentally found this place and tho of giving it a try. The food was delicious, specially the goat cheese and fig pizza. It was not fig season and I was surprised to find fresh figs on the pizza. I wish there were few more figs though. We liked the octopus salad as it was not fried or greasy. The prosciutto wrapped mozzarella was delicious too but was a bit salty for my taste. My husband found the chocolate mousse to be a little disappointing but it tasted ok to me. Sette Luna simply rocks. The people eating on the sidewalk tables seemed so happy that my wife and I walked in without even knowing if it was a cafe or a full-service restaurant. We got the goat cheese and fig pizza which caused my wife to make strange sounds of joy while eating it that I usually associate with non-culinary activities. I got two appetizers, the octopus salad with fingerling potatoes and the prosciutto-wrapped mozzarella. Both were out of this world. Even the complimentary olives were fantastic! Just to keep it real, I'll say that I've had a slightly better chocolate mousse elsewhere but even then the rest of the food was just SO GOOD we are already planning to drive back to Easton from our home in DC as soon as we can. Overpriced and without a drought the worst meal I have had in a long time. Ordered side of meatballs, looked and tasted like it was in tomato soup and if there was any meat you sure fooled me, other dish wanted chicken in it. We could not find any chicken. Went here for the first time on a Bumble date and it was the perfect place! Since it was our first time meeting it could have been uncomfortable but the wait staff could not have been nicer and it was the perfect atmosphere for a first date. This Tuscan style gem is tucked away on Ferry Street in downtown Easton and has been my favorite restaurant for many years. Sitting at an outdoor table on a beautiful day, enjoying a cold drink, is my definition of relaxation. The little cup of olives that are served to every table is a wonderful way to begin each meal. I do have to admit that I have not tried all of the items on the menu but that is only because THEY HAVE THE BEST PIZZA. Their brick-oven pizza has a thin, often burnt on the bottom, crust that is to-die-for and there are so many flavor varieties to choose from that I can't pick a favorite. They also offer a daily special pizza and that often becomes my choice because it is so creative and sounds amazing. I can honestly say that I have NEVER had a bad meal here and I have been to this restaurant close to 100 times! I also have to mention that if it is late fall or winter, you must ask for the risotto balls...seriously they are amazing! A few of my favorite things: Tuscan white bean & rosemary soup, Arugula salad, Pizzas: Marinara, Franco & Siciliana. My only complaints about this restaurant are the indoor noise level when there is a full house and the fact that they don't take reservations, so plan to go when you might have time to wait, if necessary, you'll be glad you did. Normally I would have deducted a star rating due to the 2 complaints I have about Sette Luna, but because of the fact that I absolutely love this place & their pizza, I am breaking my own rule and giving them 5 stars anyway. read more

We stumbled upon this place reminds me of a little place in Italy. Our sever was so nice and let us take our time the wine list was full of different options with reasonable prices many were under $40 per bottle. Dinner was awesome I highly recommend the lamb shank. My friends and I had a very bad experience at Sette Luna. We were not offered bread until we had to ask. A simple vodka sauce was not on the menu or available. I ordered a bolognese dish and there was there was barely any food on the dish. The price was ridiculous. My friend was charged $40 for her meal. When we talked to the waitress, she went to the manager and returned with the same price. The meal was good, but awful service and very small portion. read more
