However they are very booked that you have to book your appt months in advance and hard to change your appt, which is understandable for a busy place like this. I've been trying to get an appointment for so long now and our schedules don't match up, they are literally always booked... my next appointment isn't for another month. It's a bummer because I bought a package with them and I can't even use it because this business has overbooked themselves it's honestly really disappointing to have to wait more than a month to get a slot in their schedule. I'm sorry to say SEV is a difficult place to do business with. It all started with a Groupon and my first call to make an appointment. I called and was put on hold twice then they hung up on me. After calling back I was able to schedule my first appoint for a month later, with some instructions to shave the area to be treated 24 hours before. So the day before my appointment, a Friday afternoon I get a text at telling me to get on a FaceTime call with a Dr or my appointment will be cancelled by 6:00 if I don't. I did not confirm as I was required to do the call between 5&7:30. I cannot believe this business believes they can impose their schedule on their customers and Expect them to obediently comply. Miraculously my appointment was not canceled. Wait it gets better... 1 hour before the appointment I get a text telling me their running 45 mins behind. Really! I got a groupon here and I believe every other client purchased the same. Great deal, but it does mean they are OVERBOOKED. Every follow-up appointment I have had been 2 months out when recommended treatment period is 4-6 weeks, very frustrating as my schedule is pretty flexible. I dont know if they are solely booking new patients in every possible available slot but thats what it seems like, which makes it difficult for follow-up patients to even get an appointment in their recommended time frame! Havent had a problem with wait time/nurses are great. But SEV needs to come up with some sort of schedule management to get their current clientele in and out. read more

SEV Irvine is amazing! The girls there give great customer service. I never have to wait long for my appointment once I arrive and the nurses who laser are so sweet. The laser process itself is easy and painless. It can be uncomfortable at times but I have never experience pain. Depending on what area you laser you can start seeing results right away. And the pricing at SEV is awesome and posted on their website which is great because you know up front what you are paying. The only negative is that it's hard to get an appointment. When I first start going it was easy to book my appointments 4 to 6 weeks out but lately it's been longer and months out of get an appointment. But their customer service and laser experience out weight that for me. Firstly, the progressive machine they use cuts appointment time in half and is less painful than any other machine that's ever been used on me. Vicki was amazing! Their staff is super nice and explains everything, and the location is so cute & trendy. Also, as a business owner, I'm grateful for their text appointment reminders and efficiency. Their nurse cleared me on FaceTime the day before (instead of wasting time @ the appointment), the check-in process was 10 seconds long on an iPad, and I was able to fill out forms ahead of time. I really wanted to like this place because of all the great reviews and how clean the establishment is but I have to give this place a 1 star. I bought a Groupon deal for 6 laser treatments for large area. I called to see what was the earliest appointment they could give me. Receptionist on the phone asked me FIRST if I had purchased any deals or packages. I was really hesitant to say yes because I know how people are dealt with when they tell them that they bought a deal online. I told the receptionist yes and what I bought from Groupon. I asked her, if possible, for an appointment around 2nd week of July which was about 2 weeks away. She put me on hold for 2 minutes and came back and said the earliest appointment she had available was on September 16th!! I'm thinking, "what the hell?! My Groupon deal expires on 12/16/19!" How on earth will I get 6 sessions in before it expires?! Most sessions are supposed to be spread out 4-6 weeks apart. I thought it was ridiculous! So I told her forget it and I don't want to make an appointment. I asked her if it was ok to call me if they had any early cancellations. She said yes they could do that but required all my info and a card on file?! Wth?! I asked her why she needed my card on file when I haven't made any appointments? She said it was their "policy" if I wanted to be on their waitlist. So I said "fine" and provided my info to her. She was apologetic about not being able to get me an earlier appointment so I told her that is fine and we hung up. She was nice, don't get me wrong. After a few hours had gone by, my husband came home and I told him what happened. He thought that was ridiculous too that the appointment was that far out. So we decided to have him call SEV to see if he was able to get an "appointment" for laser service. Receptionist on the phone again asked if he had bought any deals or packages. He told her no and she put him on hold for less than 1 minute, came back and said they have an appointment for July 5!! Then he asked her if they had any available appointments for the 2nd week of July for that Friday and she said yes!! WOW!!!! He then told her that he will call back to "schedule" something the next day. After he got off the phone, I contacted Groupon right away to get a refund. I emailed their establishment to remove my information off their computer. My advice to the owner: Don't participate with another company to get extra advertisement exposure if this is how you end up treating PAYING customers! You guys already made a name for yourself so why bother to join with Groupon if this is how you treat us? I know how it goes with Groupon and how they take a percentage of the sales with whoever buys the packages from your establishment. My suggestion is, contact Groupon and remove your establishment because it's not fair that your company would do that. I get that it says on the FINE PRINT that appointments are made 2-3 months in advance but luckily my husband tested that theory and saw how you all do things. That's really sad. I hope other viewers will see this message and be persuaded not to purchase your Groupon deal and steer clear from this establishment...Unless you want to wait 3 months for an appointment. I purchased a Groupon and yes it did take over one month to schedule my first appointment. The Groupon was a great deal so I'm assuming they were flooded with new clients. The doctor pre-check clearance was a bit chaotic. This is a new store/location so you have to give them time to work out the kinks. I found the gal upfront to be very nice. She's friendly and suggested other areas for me to do. The place is very clean, modern and super cute. The laser itself, which is why we're all here in the first place, couldn't be better. I've had laser done at another location and it was the most painful experience. I was hesitant to try another laser treatment but couldn't pass up the Groupon. I'm so glad I found this place. This place has the state of the art lasers. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The nurse had a gentle touch, important when touching the nether regions! I had an appointment and waiting no longer than 10 minutes. Nowadays we have to make appointments for literally everything, and even if we have an appointment sometimes we have to wait a bit. I am very pleased with my first Laser hair removal experience (EVER) and I'm glad I chose SEV to get the process going. I have waited almost four weeks from my first initial laser session to give a review only because I wanted to give it a few weeks to see how the hair growth went. I got a Groupon (BEST DEAL EVER) and paid ONLY 119 dollars for SIX sessions of laser hair removal for two medium sized areas. THIS WAS AWESOME. The two areas I chose were Brazilian bikini and underarms. I believe It's important to note that I did some research before agreeing to get laser from SEV. I called around to a few companies and I was looking at almost $1000 for the treatment and that was WITH a 20% off deal they were running at the time... wtf. Anyways, I walked into SEV and was greeted by the sisters who own and operate the Irvine location: Lilian and Liana I believe their names were. They were SO friendly and sweet. Incredibly talkative and surprised at the fact that it was my first laser experience. They gave me the run-down and told me what to expect. I felt like a member of the family already! Things to Note: You MUST thoroughly shave the areas getting lasered 24 hours in advance. Come bare skinned, no lotions, creams, makeup or deodorant should be worn over the areas getting lasered. I felt bad at my appt because my armpits weren't too fresh because of that. I apologized. It's like a Dr. office though so the lady was very friendly about it. I mean, you have to be comfortable with someone who is literally about to laser your butthole (yes, that's part of the Brazilian experience). The entire process took about 15 minutes. I added upper lip to my laser appt for an additional $10. SO INEXPENSIVE. The laser hurt more than I thought it would but it's LASER and I honestly had nothing to compare it too since I've never even been tattooed before. The laser tech started at a low pulse and asked my if it hurt and then we would keep turning it up until I found an intensity that worked for me. It's all about how much "pain" you can handle so it's up to you really. The only thing I would suggest would be to come to the appt in comfy clothes that are easy to remove. I work work clothes and it was a struggle. My hair since then has grown back (it was only my FIRST session) but it seems to grow back at a slower rate and the follicles look and feel a lot thinner. I'm looking forward to completing the series! Overall, a GREAT value! I'm sure I'll be a laser addict and do my legs next but for now, I'll just see how these first two areas turn out. read more

I've had laser done before, at a med-spa (ugh) so I knew what to expect as far as the whole consult form & little chat with the doctor to clear any contraindications, which I don't have. I did my homework before treating myself to a Groupon deal for mothers day & I'm glad I did. This place far exceeded my expectations & the whole treatment (Brazilian & underarm touch-up) took maybe 10 or 15 minutes. I can't wait for my second session in July! I'll probably do my entire full leg once winter comes, since the area has to be kept out of the sun. I had a great experience with SEV! I purchased a Groupon for my first sessions and it was fairly easy to get an appointment. My appointment was originally scheduled for November but, I called and they were able to fit me in within a week due to a cancellation. The Groupon page and their website are very upfront about scheduling and most availability being at least 2-3 months out - so I knew it might be a while when I booked. It sounds like people reschedule/cancel fairly often - you just need to check in and ask. (I'd also recommend booking your appointments in advance, so you're able to get in and don't have to wait as long for an open spot.) My appointment itself went really well.
