CODA ROUGE! I'm going to say this once and once only! If you have not visited this beautiful…read morerestaurant in Harrisburg I suggest you put it on your list immediately. The food, the ambiance, the service, were all top tier. When you visit your first time you are given complimentary mimosas, Brian & Estelle are a match made in heaven, they are attentive, informative, and just as polite as can be. The food was literally so yummy and we only got the classic breakfast. I cannot wait to come back for more yummy foods, and great conversation. This is the kind of restaurant you want to become a regular at! Thank you so much coda rouge.

If I could give 10 stars I would. We stumbled upon this culturally rich and vibey black-owned…read morerestaurant today. The ambiance was beautiful inside and out. The Tuskegee Airmen mural on the side of the building told me that I was in the right place. Upon entering it reminded me of both my NYC and southern roots- from the beautiful woodwork, to the vibrant artwork, to the immaculate service from Estelle and her husband. They gave us a tour as well as a history rundown of the business and its owners. Now- on to the food. CHILEEEE!!! We started off with the spicy empanadas. They were delicious and not too spicy. They were juicy and seasoned to perfection. The sauce that comes with it is delicious! Me and my best friend had the boss lady- I had it with scrambled eggs and cheddar cheese grits and lawd that is the best catfish I've ever had. It was perfectly seasoned and perfectly fried. Reminded me of my nana's cooking! She had her grits with gruyere and she said it was phenomenal. Now my man had the burger and that thang was beautifully plated and he said it was delicious and cooked just as he asked! He also ordered the roasted potatoes and that boy took his time with them thangs, okay?! This meal was eaten in SILENCE (IYKYK). Lastly, we had the peanut butter chocolate cake. When I tell you I wanted to take my bra off and sit in a secluded room with that whew. I can't wait to go back with more family and friends.

We stopped in for a bite before sending her off and it was fantastic. She ordered a vegetarian crepe, my husband had a salmon crepe, and I had the Brie, tomato, and egg. We also had two pots of French-pressed coffee so rich and flavorful, it was a great pick me up! My husband had the chai latte and thoroughly enjoyed it as well. We liked everything so much we added an order or the Nutella and strawberries crepe to share, and it was so delicious we laughed we should've each gotten one. The prices were very reasonable and the service was excellent. I jokingly told the owner he should charge for the smells as well!!!

Either one is fine, as long as you do not overindulge it. In short, the crepes here are nothing short of delicious. A one woman show in downtown Harrisburg has me enjoying this repeatedly. Everything is fresh, plentiful, and thoroughly flavorful. The lady who makes the crepes is super sweet and genuine. Most of her customers are European and I am not surprised. The prices are incredibly fair and that is why I allowed myself to gamble on two crepes instead of one. My only gripe is the paper plate with silverware. Maybe it is a cheap way to save money, but invest in good plates. We eat with our eyes, and by getting a nice plate served with these beautiful crepes would give this a five star review. Instead it feels like I got something at Panera. I am now ready to take the next step when I go to Paris in the fall.
