Wow!!! Is how I would start this review for Seven Days Restaurant. Seven Days was worth the drive from the customer service to the meals. The team working on Saturday morning was very welcoming and the items on the menu were local and fresh that we could notice from the first bite. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We sat on the outside patio, that gave a nice ambiance and the weather was picture perfect.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] In our party, we tried different omelettes, homemade potatoes -that were on point, a nice crisp, and toast and whipped butter were all excellent. Also, we were able to enjoy an ice cold Red Stripe ! This was my favorite breakfast in the Cape Cod. We would highly recommend when out visiting the Cape Cod area.

Seven Days has an eclectic mix of food (Italian, Caribbean, seafood...) in what looks to be an old house. I have been a few times because they have a separate (small) vegan menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I went again on Saturday with a group of friends after attempting to go to a nearby restaurant with a long wait. We were seated immediately and our server was very friendly. Unfortunately, of the five listed vegan dinner items, they were out of the first two I selected, so I went with the tofu curry bowl, which I've tried before and was fine but frankly not my favorite. The vegetables are fresh but the curry sauce itself seemed very watery and the small chunks of tofu also seemed watery as if maybe they were not pressed first? I really appreciate that they make an effort to offer vegan options (and when I got the vegan eggplant parm on a previous occasion it was really delicious), I just wouldn't recommend the curry bowl in particular. I'm interested to come back some time to try their breakfast items.

This place is a hidden gem and as much as I'd love to keep it all to myself, Seven Days deserves to be shared with the world! Friendly and helpful staff and owners, terrific food, [[HIGHLIGHT]]charming and relaxed ambience[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. What more could you ask for?

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute little place in a refurbished house.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was nice. Our waiter was very attentive. I had the baked cod. It was so hot when it came out I had to wait awhile to eat it. It's was delicious. Very tender and sitting in a pond of butter. The broccoli was tender and well seasoned. I don't care for carrots so I didn't try them. The rice was plain and kinda dry. I put some in the cod's butter and it was better but not great. It needs some type of juice so it was t so dry and sone flavor.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]What a charming place![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We walked in and were immediately greeted and seated in the front room at a tablecloth covered table in an inviting and sunny room with colorful art for sale on the walls.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We chose to split a tuna melt with a side of sweet potato fries from the extensive menu, because we wanted to save room for the enticing deserts in the display case. We were very pleased with our sandwich and the amazingly plated deserts.

On our first morning in Dennis, we walked into Seven Days with no expectations, but were immediately greeted by the most friendly man, Trevon, who allowed us to choose our own table. He was courteous and prompt and gave us a few recommendations. My husband thoroughly enjoyed Trevon's creation, the Italian sweet cream iced latte, and I became quickly obsessed with the orange cranberry muffin French toast. The flavors are actually insane! We came back each morning of our stay greeted by Trevon and Paula. We ordered our favorites each day to share and tried new items as well. The jerk chicken is out of this world and an absolute must especially for spice seakers! As someone who lived in the Caribbean for several years, this dish tasted like it was made with the utmost attention and love. After our week in Dennis, we have a new favorite restaurant, and truly feel we met some of the kindest people in all of Massachusetts! We cannot wait to return, and will be dreaming of the muffin French toast until then.

If you want food, you have to time it right. We got there on a Saturday afternoon around 1pm, knowing that they closed at 2. Meals were not available at that time, nor were cocktails. The only food available was snacks and pastries in a display on the counter, and most of these were already gone as well. Wine was still available in 3oz. and 5oz. pours, and we found a couple that we really enjoyed. We received fantastic service at the counter, and we were checked on several times while we were seated (we were lucky enough to get the plush chairs by the window). Their full wine list is extensive and interesting. Depending on from what direction you approach, navigation might give you a very scenic route along the circular "road." We had a reservation for 2 and were quickly escorted to a comfortable table. Lucas was our server and he got us situated with some beverages first, we had the bad bunny, which we had tried before and was excellent and a new raspberry gin martini on the cocktail list which was so tasty the second round we got two of those. For appetizers we had the oysters which were shucked beautifully and were served with a wonderful mignonette, and beef chicharrones which were light and delicious. We had another slightly heartier round of appetizers, the lamb rotolini and stuffed squash blossoms, both of which were also scrumptious. For entrees we had the local striped bass and jerk pork shank. The bass was cooked perfectly and the caponata served with it complemented the fish very well. Lucas also recommended a Chardonnay that paired with the bass wonderfully. The pork shank really stole the show though first of all it was huge, and it was also so tender. The curry mayo served with it I want to use as a condiment for everything for the rest of my life. For dessert we had the blueberry vacherine. The lemon and blueberry in it had a wonderful blend of tart and sweet, and was very light and easy to eat after our large meals. Everything also arrived in a very reasonable amount of time even though the restaurant was completely full. We had a lovely time and are so happy they are open again after their kitchen remodel. Would highly recommend the pheasant to anyone visiting the area and locals alike!

And we decided to try this weekend when my daughter came with a friend. We will definitely going back. The main complaint is that is hard to get a reservation. We started with calimari. It was pretty, but not exceptional. My wife had the onon soup. For main courses we had the beet and arugula salads, (the arugula with shrimp), the flounder and the crispy salads. The main reason I cam giving the restaurant 5* was the scallops. These were far from the typical fried scallops. They had a like panko coating, served with succotash, and were quite good, even by Cape Cod standards for scallops. The salads are both also very good. Service was attentive and not intrusive. I've found this restaurant to be one of the best ones around. Scargo is one of the reasons why travelers shouldn't skip Route 6A. I'm usually there during off-peak (translation: cold) times, so I tend to gravitate towards more robust menu offerings. The French onion soup is quite good, with a nice beefy broth and a generous amount of cheese. It's nice that the restaurant offers bread, which is becoming a rarer occurrence. The entree portions are quite strong. The lemon flounder filets were nicely pan-fried and not overcooked. The seafood strudel has a good amount of seafood, including a lot of shrimp and smaller scallops. I don't think they have the cioppino anymore but that was also a quality entree as well. Service has always been friendly and professional. The servers are good at making friendly conversation without dragging down efficiency.

Entered to see basically dated everything, carpeting cared for like it was older than the combined age of my family, and the ambiance of a live performer sounding like a bag of cats. Seated promptly 20-30 minutes after our reservation. The waiter literally could not answer a single question about the menu. When challenged with what dressing is on the beet salad the waiter replied that it was a... beet salad. Tried the house salad, beet salad and a special buratta salad. House salad was one bite and done. Couldn't ID the dressing but tasted maybe like it has mustard, pine nuts and basil. Was weird and gross. One bite and done. The buretta salad featured a single slice of tomato and some prosciutto. Was advertised with roasted peppers that were no where to be found. Only one person had the beet salad and featured the same weird green dressing. Two of our party have seafood allergies. We couldn't get answer from the waiter on cross contamination so literally gave multiple entree options for them to work with and the entree selection ended up a surprise. Ordered a variety of entrees. Chicken parm was not eaten, a pizza had one slice consumed, a special salad concoction for a seafood allergy was not enjoyed, I had a pasta with sausage and broccoli rabe, which didn't kill me but I would never recommend it or attempt to consume again, and then two people had the Bolognese, which they said they enjoyed. Incidentally the waiter kept telling every diner about homemade pasta. There is no way the ziti or penne that was served in lieu of the linguine ordered was homemade. The menu is huge. That's always a red flag to me. Do fewer things really well and not 50 poor to mediocre things. It was very busy when we arrived at 630, but nearly empty before 8. The service was terrible end to end. The food was 80% terrible. It pains me to say it, but any chain Italian restaurant is better. We would not ever return...
