This location is nestled in an industrial park, but is worth the visit. They have some outdoor seating and free WiFi. The staff member helping me was very nice and helped me decide that I wanted a latte with oat milk. My latte was served in a to go cup, but still had the signature heart on top- which is a touch that most places forget. I also grabbed a snack- the yogurt parfait. Most of their food is made to order, which I liked. The parfait had a mix of berries and a base of vanilla yogurt, but was also served with a side of honey/fruit compote. When I visited they also had a cute flower truck for picture opportunities if that's something you're looking for!

I really enjoyed going to Copa Vida today. It was a little bit hard to find and I was especially surprised that it was actually an outdoor café. The people that worked there were super nice and patient with my indecision on what to get. I ended up settling on a latte with milk, which is pretty unheard of for me. I typically get oat milk lattes but after a kaiser nutrition class I attended, the nutritionist said that actually milk is more nutritious than oat milk, regardless it tasted great! I only gave four stars because the decaf coffee was a bit weak. I really like a strong flavorful coffee.

Got a matcha latte today and made the mistake of asking for it unsweetened. Was not crazy about it, but they added honey and it tasted better. If you love matcha might like this but I probably won't get it again. It was beautiful though and probably healthy. BUT I also got their vegetarian Brekkie sandwich for lunch, and it was INSANELY good. Delicious oatmilk bun, scrambled eggs, roasted tomatoes and a few other things. I did not have high expectations but it was so delicious I need to get it again! They are really set up for drinks here and may have limited supplies of food, so they run out of things. But they are so friendly here and the sandwich was so good! They also have fancy macarons and desserts that I haven't tried. They are only open until 2 PM so I have to remember to come here. But I'm coming back for the sandwich & to try a different beverage!

Great coffee and tea spot nestled between several offices. The beverage menu is extensive and the pastries are delicious! I loved the honey latte and the spicy Gruyère pastry.

The staff is very kind and helpful. The cappuccino is spot on. And it has a cute patio setting.

Friendly baristas and a great variety of coffees/teas at this spot, found nestled between office buildings and hotels. I ordered an oat milk iced matcha latte and yogurt parfait. The granola and strawberries in the parfait were fresh and tasty. The matcha tastes good, but I'll ask for less milk to tea ratio next time. The barista offered a carrying tray proactively, and used my name a few times in a friendly / good customer experience type of way. Plus the ambiance and outdoor seating area is very cozy and welcoming. I thought the prices were reasonable for the size and quality. I would definitely come back - especially to try the fresh whole nutmeg I saw on the countertop, that they freshly grind over certain drinks on the menu!

    Patio is so cozy.

I'm so glad to have my favorite Copa Vida opened this location. It's next to the Scripps Clinic building, so now I can enjoy my lavender latte and chocolate croissant after visiting the lab for bloodwork. Service is as great as in all other locations, and stylish patio with cozy chairs adds to the wonderful experience.

Food and coffee are always great. Service is slow on a Sunday, so prepare to settle in for a while.

Both individuals were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely hospitable. The selection of French pastries and drinks was impressive. The multigrain and olive bread loaves were also very tempting and will definitely be on my list next time. I really enjoyed the cinnamon roll made with croissant dough and to be honest, the pain eu chocolate wasn't the freshest I've had, but I still enjoyed it OK. I wouldn't order that again, but I would definitely get the cinnamon roll again. That was one of the best ones I've had. I loved that it was made from croissant dough, which made it lighter and more flaky than most cinnamon rolls. I have high standards for croissants as I've been to France many times. :) The view that I got to enjoy these watching while sitting outside, made it such a great experience. I balanced my sweets with a cold refreshing iced Americano, and I would like to come back to try the Nutella danish. The service was great. There was a sweet girl working that helped me and allowed me to take my time looking.

Hidden gem alert! TOAST is fabulous. FYI: TOAST shares a parking lot with Ken Sushi Workshop (Ken's…read morewas packed on a Friday at 12PM and they couldn't seat me for 20+ mins; being a solo diner didn't matter, so be sure to make a ressie at Ken's if you want to eat there!). But I digress, back to the parking. Be prepared to look for a spot to park, but atleast parking is ample and shaded. I left TOAST before 2PM and people were still driving into the parking lot! I walked to TOAST a little reluctant, seeing how it's inside a corporate building. Once inside, I followed the signs. The interior is a little sterile but it is a much larger and pleasant space than I expected. No music. It is very quiet inside. There is a pretty outside patio in the back that caught my eye but I chose to sit inside. The booth seating is very comfortable. This place is a solid choice if you're single btw. You can sit pretty much anywhere with your laptop or if you just want to read a book and enjoy some fine ass coffee in peace, you can! I love coffee and espresso, and it turns out their Mexican Mocha is quite the fabulous diva. The mocha cup is a glorious, oversized mug with the most delicious sprinkled cinnamon on top. It was hot, rich and delicious. I missed breakfast (it's over by 11:30AM, so I'll return to try their French Toast and their Filipino Breakfast burrito). I decided to get the "Ain't Your Classic Burger" cheeseburger, which is on the Sandwich side of their menu. That Chuck brisket patty, you guys... ooh, it's to DIE for. Tender. Moist. Gigantic. A whopper size of a burger with the perfect amount of melted cheese, pickles, spring lettuce (yay! No sad iceberg crap), chopped fresh red onions (my favorite), brown butter dijonaise (ugh so good), and a secret sauce that was actually worth being called a secret. I didn't add extras, but you can actually add an egg or bacon to your burger. High Cholesterol lovers can unite and rejoice here lol. it's worth noting how fresh all of the ingredients tasted. The brioche bun was a nice choice. So was the crisp spring mix lettuce, the juicy tomato and crunchy red onion bits. I ordered a side of fries and tbh, they were average. They reminded me of an attempt on McD's french fries. They did come in a cute stainless steel fry basket and it does elevate the plate presentation, but I might skip those next time. It was the cheeseburger that had my full attention here... well, and the delightful mocha. No pictures this time. I devoured everything. I think this is a solid cafe on this side of town. It's hard to find zero wait times, available and comfortable seating, fresh food, solid portions, and continual peacefulness in a morning/early lunch establishment. I'll be back soon.

Came back here for brunch with a few friends, and the experience was just as good as I remembered. Everyone working there was incredibly nice, especially Larry, kind, attentive, and super informative. We ordered: * Salmon toast with dill: 5/5 * Filipino breakfast burrito: 5/5 , the garlicky vinaigrette sauce took the flavor to another level. * Apricot toast with mascarpone and ricotta cheese: 10/10, sweet, savory, and unbelievably smooth all in one bite. I highly recommend this place.
