I really enjoyed going to Copa Vida today. It was a little bit hard to find and I was especially surprised that it was actually an outdoor café. The people that worked there were super nice and patient with my indecision on what to get. I ended up settling on a latte with milk, which is pretty unheard of for me. I typically get oat milk lattes but after a kaiser nutrition class I attended, the nutritionist said that actually milk is more nutritious than oat milk, regardless it tasted great! I only gave four stars because the decaf coffee was a bit weak. I really like a strong flavorful coffee.

The staff is very kind and helpful. The cappuccino is spot on. And it has a cute patio setting.

Great coffee and tea spot nestled between several offices. The beverage menu is extensive and the pastries are delicious! I loved the honey latte and the spicy Gruyère pastry.

Got a matcha latte today and made the mistake of asking for it unsweetened. Was not crazy about it, but they added honey and it tasted better. If you love matcha might like this but I probably won't get it again. It was beautiful though and probably healthy. BUT I also got their vegetarian Brekkie sandwich for lunch, and it was INSANELY good. Delicious oatmilk bun, scrambled eggs, roasted tomatoes and a few other things. I did not have high expectations but it was so delicious I need to get it again! They are really set up for drinks here and may have limited supplies of food, so they run out of things. But they are so friendly here and the sandwich was so good! They also have fancy macarons and desserts that I haven't tried. They are only open until 2 PM so I have to remember to come here. But I'm coming back for the sandwich & to try a different beverage!

Friendly baristas and a great variety of coffees/teas at this spot, found nestled between office buildings and hotels. I ordered an oat milk iced matcha latte and yogurt parfait. The granola and strawberries in the parfait were fresh and tasty. The matcha tastes good, but I'll ask for less milk to tea ratio next time. The barista offered a carrying tray proactively, and used my name a few times in a friendly / good customer experience type of way. Plus the ambiance and outdoor seating area is very cozy and welcoming. I thought the prices were reasonable for the size and quality. I would definitely come back - especially to try the fresh whole nutmeg I saw on the countertop, that they freshly grind over certain drinks on the menu!

    Patio is so cozy.

I'm so glad to have my favorite Copa Vida opened this location. It's next to the Scripps Clinic building, so now I can enjoy my lavender latte and chocolate croissant after visiting the lab for bloodwork. Service is as great as in all other locations, and stylish patio with cozy chairs adds to the wonderful experience.

Food and coffee are always great. Service is slow on a Sunday, so prepare to settle in for a while.

We each got to order a pot of tea, so we decided to order 5 different ones to try out more flavors together. The ones we picked were: -Jasmine orange oolong - Coconut milk green tea - Earl grey lavender - Vanilla cream -Strawberry rose champagne oolong tea My top two favorites were the jasmine orange oolong and the coconut milk green tea. The only flavor that none of us enjoyed was the strawberry rose champagne oolong tea, so when it came time for refills, we switched it to the rouge provence. For the food, there were four finger sandwiches: chicken breast, smoked salmon, cucumbers, and chopped spinach. We all liked the chicken breast one the most, and felt like the cucumbers and chopped spinach could have been combined into one sandwich for a more balanced flavor. For sweets, there was the seasonal scone, fruit tart, macaron, and donut. I loved the scone with the butter and fruit preserves, as well as the fruit tart. The service was polite, but a bit slow and we waited a while before our food arrived. There was only one person who was serving the entire afternoon tea area, so it's understandable that there's a longer wait. All in all, I would definitely come back for another afternoon tea experience!

I really enjoyed the cinnamon roll made with croissant dough and to be honest, the pain eu chocolate wasn't the freshest I've had, but I still enjoyed it OK. I loved that it was made from croissant dough, which made it lighter and more flaky than most cinnamon rolls. I have high standards for croissants as I've been to France many times. :) The view that I got to enjoy these watching while sitting outside, made it such a great experience. I balanced my sweets with a cold refreshing iced Americano, and I would like to come back to try the Nutella danish. The service was great. He had come to Lofty a couple times before but it was my first time. Easy street parking, very popular on Saturday morning, for locals bringing their dogs or babies. Such a soothing smooth cup of earl grey tea with vanilla flavor, charcoal dust and cream!! Beautiful overcast morning to enjoy reading with a decent playlist in the background. The pastries and menu offerings looked good too! We'll be back! Highly recommend! We ended up going again today (Sunday) which was much more crowded and more people streaming in by the minute. We still managed to get a table. This time I ordered the matcha and mint, which was also soothing and not overly sweet. We shared a scone which was baked fresh from scratch daily. I stopped by on a Sunday morning and left a bit disappointed. This location seems connected to an office building, and it definitely felt like an afterthought on the weekend when the surrounding businesses are closed. When we walked in, we were told they were out of coconut syrup, had no baked goods available, and he said they were out of the first 4 items on the menu -- so essentially no breakfast items. The coconut syrup is one of Mostra's signature touches--and honestly one of the main reasons I go--so that was a letdown. And a coffee shop without any pastries or baked goods felt a bit unusual. I still like Mostra as a brand, but this experience didn't reflect what I've come to expect. I'd recommend either stocking key items consistently or adjusting weekend operations if supply is limited. We'll likely stick to their other locations next time we're in town.
