DO NOT GO HERE. Please! For your own sake! A note to Lovely Bride: STOP REFERRING YOUR BRIDES HERE. You are the flagship retailer for Alexandra Grecco, and yet, Esin butchered my Alexandra Grecco gown. For the astronomical price of $850, Esin will allow you three appointments: one to drop off and pin the gown, another to try the new alterations, and a third to pick up the dress with final changes. During my third appointment (9 days before my wedding), it was clear that my dresswould need further alteration. It was a form fitting silk slip gown and there was literally no room for error -- the dress was bunching at the hips and gaping in the chest. Esin was clearly upset that I wanted her to take it in further, sent me on a guilt trip for not clearly expressing what I wanted in the second appointment, and claimed it didn't fit because I had lost weight (I hadn't). She agreed to take it in and said I could pick it up the next day. When I came back the following day, she told me I should not try the dress on and could just take it with me, trusting that the dress would fit. What?! I finally convinced her to let me try the dress on before handing over $850 -- but I had to forcefully ask her, and felt very uncomfortable having to do so. At this point she was closing up shop around me (literally turning off the lights -- it was 4:55), and even though I was not confident the changes were up to par, I reluctantly paid her $850 and left the store. Over the next few days I couldn't stop thinking that the dress did not fit properly, and 6 DAYS before my wedding I took it to a new tailor. The tailor agreed that the hip seams were sloppily done, pointed out that the hem was extremely uneven, noted that two visible new seams had been added at the wrong part of my bust, and was miraculously able to solve the problem between a Monday and a Thursday (the week of my wedding!). While it was totally worth it to have dress look perfect, the new tailor cost me an additional $425 on top of the $850 that I paid Esin. Bottom line: for $850, brides should be getting a bespoke experience and a guarantee that the dress will look right. I felt rushed, bullied, ripped off, and was left with an ill-fitting dress. My emergency tailor was Alteration Specialists of NY in TriBeCa and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Truly miracle workers. read more

I was referred to Esin by Lovely Bride (where I purchased my wedding dress) and also got a good recommendation from a friend who had her wedding dress altered here. Unfortunately, it was not the experience I had imagined. Esin was very nice and welcoming on my first visit, but on the following visits I felt rushed. I traveled all the way to Midtown from Brooklyn three times, only to be rushed through my fittings and done in less than 10 minutes each time. However, this is not the reason I chose to review the business. The issue for me was the price. The dress I purchased fit me perfectly at the size I ordered, so Esin and her team made NO CHANGES to my dress -- the waist, hem, and sleeves all stayed exactly the same. The only adjustment made was the addition of bra cups (the dress was backless) and I was charged $700. I also need to point out that the stitching on one of the bra cups came undone during the after-party on my wedding day. I paid $700 for bra cups that came un-stitched in 12 hours. I would urge any bride-to-be to shop around for alterations options. I assumed Sew Elegant was the way to go since the bridal boutique recommended it and it didn't occur to me to compare businesses, as I was already overwhelmed with the rest of wedding planning. Do not bring your dress here. You are likely already spending a lot of money on your wedding and you do not need to waste any more of it here. Okay, wow. Esin is really so warm and kind, and Sarah was so incredibly helpful. I went for 3 fittings and picked up my dress at the last fitting. I was really happy at the time and just tried it on and left really quickly (really my fault -- I don't know why I was in such a rush), but I went home and tried it on again and found it hung a bit loose and I accidentally broke a button putting on the dress myself. I kind of panicked, especially since I have to leave next week for my wedding, and was unsure if Sew Elegant could accommodate me. I called them up and they scheduled me to come in ASAP. Turns out I had indeed lost weight (my measurements were lower than my initial measurements) and Esin pinned it again and said they could get everything done by next week and emphasized that the dress needs to be perfect! Honestly, it made me feel so validated and it really felt like Esin cared. I wouldn't even give this operation a single star if I weren't forced to. Ladies, let me tell you a little story. I bought my dress at a designer in Nolita, who no longer offered on-site alterations. When I went to pick the dress up, I was told by the designer herself to cancel my appointment with Esin @ Sew Elegant and take it elsewhere. I laughed it off--based on the reviews, Esin sounded like the best & I didn't want to take any chances with my wedding gown. And I didn't. I had made sure that I booked my appointment 2 months out, and had taken the extra precaution to call the very morning of my fitting not only to CONFIRM my appointment, but to confirm that it would be with ESIN HERSELF. I should have listened to my designer. When I arrived at Sew Elegant, giddy & excited for my fitting, I was greeted by 2 very nasty women at the door who said, "Esin is not here. We fit you." I stopped--Esin wasn't there? What do you mean she wasn't there? "She had to leave", they smugly replied with a fake, "Don't worry sweetie." Now, this is my ONE & ONLY wedding gown. I was willing the pay the unbelievable fortune for Esin's custom work--but NOT to have my dress "fitted" by 2 complete randoms!! I was paying for Esin & HER talent, and Esin decided to just skip out on my BRIDAL FITTING--WITHOUT A CALL, & WITHOUT A CARE! They not only had my phone number on file & did not call to alert me of the change, but also did not even tell me that she wouldn't be there when I called that very morning to confirm. Unreal. I was completely devastated & in tears that someone would be so thoughtless, when I had been so responsible. This wasn't an ordinary dress, but the most important dress of my life. Found Sew Elegant via Yelp and took a calculated risk based on the ratings. Per the reviews, Esin previous worked as the head wedding dress alteration specialist for Vera Wang.... Vera Wang? - SOLD. I immediately booked my appointment with Esin and brought my very expensive designer bridal gown to Esin. My logic: If you're going to spend a lot on a wedding dress...you should spend a lot on great bridal alterations as well. Unfortunately, my enthusiasm was quickly met with disappointment when I learned what Esin was like. First, the pricing was bloody murder. I could have bought 3 dresses at David's Bridal! Second, she's very easily offended by suggestions and extremely proud. In her mind, her 30+ year's of experience trumps anything you have to say...but what good is 30+ years of experience if you're not changing with the times and you're not able to successfully alter a dress to fit your client's body? We had multiple fittings and each time she grew more and more impatient (and nasty) and insisted that the dress was perfect despite the very visible imperfections with the zipper and bodice. I found the perfect Carolina Herrera dress for 60% off at a trunk sale & was thrilled. I also wanted to save money on the alterations (the CH store charges a flat $500 fee for alterations) so I looked online & decided to give Esin a chance given all the great reviews. I also had a very unique case in that I was going to be 4 months pregnant for my wedding, which was going to be in Miami although both my fiancé & I live in NYC. The first 2 fittings went relatively well, although Esin didn't do anything to the dress. She saw my tummy growing & ribcage expanding & didn't want to touch the dress until closer to the wedding date. This made (& makes) perfect sense to me as there was no way to predict what I would look like several months down the road. As the wedding day approached the body of the dress was fitting well & during my penultimate fitting we decided not to do anything to the body. Esin was going to do a french bustle, hem the bottom of the dress & make the bustier shorter. My dress was 1 layer so you can imagine my surprise when she quoted me $500 for these alterations. Since I was so close to the wedding date & didn't want to go elsewhere I told her ok, scheduled my final fitting a few days later & just mentioned in passing that I thought it was a little pricey, especially considering the other reviews on here that say that her prices are better than the "$300-$500 that other bridal salons charge". For my final fitting (11 days before my wedding) the dress didn't close. The hem (although incomplete), bustle & bustier were fine, but the dress didn't close. I also realized that a french bustle is a fancy name for a few ribbons on the bottom of the dress that you tie together. At this point, Esin and her colleague didn't do much to help me feel sure or secure. She kept asking me, "What will you do if it doesn't close in Miami?" I expected some reassurance from her at least. They came up with a game plan to let out the waist of the dress a little by adding a panel to the back of the dress. I mentioned an alternative idea & she told me that my idea was more difficult than hers, which (although I'm not a seamstress) I found that hard to believe. After I had changed out of the dress & we were about to schedule another fitting she told me that she would have to increase the price from what she originally quoted. Again, I expected this, but again I was extremely surprised by the price. She told me that she would have to charge me an extra $300 for the alterations around the waist. At this point, I respectfully expressed my discontent, not because I didn't expect the price to increase but because I thought the original price was high & the increase was also high. Again, my dress is not multilayered or complex. The bodice has several panels all of which had extra fabric that could be used to let out the dress. She got EXTREMELY defensive & abrasive. I told her that I didn't doubt that the new change was difficult & that I don't mind paying more, but that $800 for all the alterations was way too pricey. In between this conversation with her she had numerous phone calls & was attending 3 other clients. Surprisingly 1 of the other clients was my soccer teammate so I was supremely embarrassed by the whole exchange, especially the last part: Esin handed me my dress, took the invoice, & kicked me out. I am 18 weeks pregnant 11 days before my wedding & because I think $800 is way too much for basic alterations she told me to take my stuff & go somewhere else. One word: heartless. Now I have to find another seamstress/tailor to do rush alterations & deal with a bitter & extremely anxious pregnant bride to be. 3 side notes: 1) I also brought in my rehearsal dinner dress, a BCBG chiffon dress that fit me nicely before I was pregnant. It has an empire waist so I thought I could pull it off but it was still a little tight. Esin unattached the bustier from the rest of the dress and tried to close it but told me it didn't close. She wanted to charge me $200 to let it out & basically I could never wear the dress after the pregnancy. No thank you! I told her I'd think about it. When I got home the extra space from the unattached bustier was perfect. My fiancé closed the zipper & although tight, it fit well. 2) During my final fitting I saw the price for another client go from $100 to $250 in 5 minutes... for a bridesmaids dress alteration. 3) Although she was generally nice (gave me a hug & kiss every time I arrived), she gave me the wrong dress two separate times & called me the wrong name for an entire fitting session. She also couldn't spend 2 min with me without the phone ringing & scheduling another person's appointment. During my final fitting 4 people were booked within a 20 minute window & her salon is SMALL. There is only 1 couch/chair and 1 fitting room so there's nowhere to wait. I also think it's somewhat fishy that she only accepts cash, but then again so do many reputable businesses in NYC. read more

I 100% agree that Esin is a knowledgeable tailor and she was able to quickly assess the simple alteration that needed to be made on my wedding dress- basically, the straps needed to be lengthened. I ordered extra fabric from Nicole Miller and was fine with the $250 cost for creating two new straps (I actually thought it would be much more, based on how much other brides' dresses were). She is matter-of-fact and reassuring, which is appreciated. However..... I am extremely disappointed in how the alteration came out. The strap has a completely exposed seam and looks very sloppy (a picture is included). While I am not afraid the strap would detach at the wedding, I cannot believe this cost me that much money (including the extra $100 I paid Nicole Miller for the fabric). read more

There were also some fit issues on the top, but I'd resigned myself to just dealing with imperfection because another seamstress had said that fixing it was impossible. Esin would not accept anything short of perfection, and worked some crazy magic on the dress so that it fit like a glove. She did this all on a very compressed timeline with no upcharge, and made me feel so beautiful and special along the way. I am rarely motivated to write a review, but I had to share my experience with Esin and her wonderful team at Sew Elegant. I was already happy when she perfectly fitted my wedding dress for a fair price and a quick turn around, but that was just the start. Two days before I was planning to fly home for my wedding, I tried on my dress and my bridal brain convinced me there was puckering around the bust. A disaster! (In retrospect, it wasn't noticeable, but try telling a bride this a week before her wedding). I called Esin, panicked. She said "don't worry, don't be sad. Bring it in today, we will make you happy." She wasn't lying. I brought it in, she let out the straps a teeny bit which erased any puckering. She was able to do this because she cleverly tucked the excess straps when shortening them before, rather than trimming them, making it easy to adjust. This was all done without an appointment, in one day, and get this...she didn't charge me a dime for the extra, last minute changes!! It meant the world to me as a customer and an anxious bride. I purchased my Vera Wang wedding gown from Bridal Garden, a consignment shop. It was a great deal but in terrible shape. I came to Esin and she first recommended a dress cleaner and gave me a discount card for the cleaner. She completed a tremendous amount of work on my dress including taking it in, reapplying the delicate flowers and completed changing the back to a low back with a rhinestone clasp. She did this all in two months. I adore her! Highly recommend her to everyone. You get what you pay for and she's pricier because she's just that good! read more

This place is WAY expensive and on my wedding day my dress was still too big. I asked for it to be extremely fitted and it was not. I had two fittings, asked on the second fitting for it to be more fitted, she said it didn't need to be. She was wrong because in the majority of my pics the dress is loose on me and wrinkly around the waist where is should be hugging my curves. They charged $750 to take it in one inch on waist (on the seam) and hips, add 3 hooks for a bustle, and take in the spaghetti straps one inch. No adjustments on bust or hem. No huge adjustments in the style, just standard minimal alterations. Her personality was very nice, but that is not worth $750 in my book. I would recommend brides to shop around for quotes before committing here. I was limited in time unfortunately and could not. read more

I used Sew Elegant to hem a bridesmaid dress. I'm not sure if because it was a small job and I was not a demanding bride I got less attention but I did feel that $80 to hem a dress was steep especially since I opted not to have them do (at their recommendation) the fancy hemming that the dress originally came with which I am now regretting. Thank you, Esin, for turning my gown from unacceptable to UNBELIEVABLE!!! I had originally gotten my dress tailored at a place in Buffalo (which is probably my first problem) and the tailor insisted that she could do all the alterations that my 30-year-old vintage would require for one or two hundred dollars. Naturally, I was nervous, as I wanted to remove the sleeves, add boning, shrink the bodice, tighten up the waist area, fix the bustle, change the zipper, etc. But since this tailor came recommended, I went with her. Wow, after two fittings, the dress actually got worse! WAY worse. Somehow, the chest area got way too tight while my hips looked twice as big despite the fact that I'd actually lost weight. While the zipper was in fact replaced, it was actually lopsided. The lace did not meet at the seams on the sides, the inside of the dress looked like an amateur had thrown something together, the bones somehow served to make the chest area fit worse. I wanted to cry. For months, I was kept up at night thinking about how bad I would look on my wedding day. Finally, the dress was transported to me in NY about 7 weeks before my wedding and I was in need of a tailor in NY who could turn this now gigantic white rag into a wedding dress. Enter Esin: The second I walked into her place, I knew that this experience would be different. Esin's store is warm, yet professional. Her walls are adorned with pictures of the many brides whose dresses have been touched by her magic. I was at home. Nervous that she would think my dress was beyond repair, Esin helped me step into it and carefully assessed what needed to be done. At the end of my first fitting, she sweetly explained to me that, YES, it could be repaired despite the myriad flaws and the limited time frame, but YES it would cost me...a lot. After agreeing to her rate, Esin busily began to work her magic: She added a liner (which apparently most vintage dresses lack), changed the crooked, discolored zipper courtesy of the last seamstress, fitted the dress to my exact proportions, aligned the lace at the seams (another part the last seamstress failed to account for), opened up the chest area that was choking me and squeezing at my sides, sewed in my corset (which the previous seamstress said was impossible), and created and implemented a BRAND NEW design for my bustle. After four fittings, Esin turned my pathetic wedding tent into an elegant vintage masterpiece with a whole week to spare before my big day. If you are experiencing a wedding dress nightmare, RUN, DON'T WALK to Sew Elegant!! She basically had to open every seam and customize the dress for me, which naturally made me nervous. I recently met with Esin for the purpose of altering a floor length sheath gown (incidentally Vera) for a black tie event. Her work is truly exquisite. With some rather significant adjustments (as I am petite and the dress was proportionally large), the dress fit just impeccably. I've never worn a mermaid cut gown that was not terribly uncomfortable to sit and dance in, and I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortably it wore throughout my event. Esin did an amazing job on my wedding dress. She was able to complete all of my alterations in just over a month (I sort of waited until the last minute to get my dress), and she was kind enough to waive the rush fee she normally charges. Most of my alterations were for fitting; Esin shortened the straps and tightened the bust, and it fit perfectly once she made the changes. The biggest thing, from an aesthetic perspective, is that my dress was a) a bit too long on me and b) had an enormous train that I asked her to remove entirely. I was a little worried about how the dress would look with the train removed, as there was more fabric in the front than in the back, but she did an incredible job and the dress looked amazing once she was finished with it. With Esin's help, my wedding dress is now probably the most comfortable thing I own! I've never had tailoring done before, so I can't speak to how reasonable her prices are, but for the alterations of the straps, bust, length, and train, my total came to an even $500. She did a fantastic job on the dress, and she made the entire process easy and stress-free, and she is in general just a pleasure to be around. I can't recommend her enough. read more

Esin is a lifesaver. I bought my wedding dress at Kleinfelds in January 2015. I believe the dress arrived sometime in June and instead of getting my alterations done at Kleinfeld (starting price for Kleinfeld alterations is almost $700), I took the dress to a place my mom has used for making and altering several formal dresses. Unfortunately, that place was terrible and with less than 2 weeks to go until my wedding, the dress just didn't fit correctly at all. My (then) fiance found Sew Elegant and despite being completely booked, Esin allowed me to come in before store hours for a fitting. Esin was so sweet. She showed me the alterations she was going to make and I came back a few days later. There were still some fit issues, but Esin said she could fix it and I could pick up the dress the next day. I was a bit worried because she said I couldn't try the dress on again after the last alterations (because the dress was already steamed). Fortunately, the day of the wedding, the dress fit perfectly. The cost came to $500, which I'm pretty sure is the minimum. She didn't even charge me for the rush alterations. I would have absolutely willingly paid more for her quick and amazing work. During my fittings with Esin, she kept reminding me that all that was important was that I was marrying the person I love. I'm actually tearing up thinking about the amazing work by the ladies at Sew Elegant. Esin, Sinem and team went above and beyond to get me fitting me in my wedding dress perfectly. I've never worked with such talented professional, who quickly turned into friends upon meeting them. My dress was pure silk (thicker) and a little bit of a challenge to work with. I even had to come back for a fourth fitting because it just still needed work - and the team could not have been more gracious about it and accommodating. Not to mention, I had to drive all the way down from Boston every time I had an appointment - usually making the trip in one day - that's how much I trusted and wanted these ladies to work on my dress. Trust me when I say, don't go anywhere else. It's worth every penny the peace of mind to know my dress was in amazing hands and at the end of the day, I've never put on a dress I've loved more. Esin was very sweet, but the quality of the craft is average and is very overpriced for the work. I was recommended by the bridal shop and wish that I had shopped around a couple of other seamstresses before I committed to Sew Elegant. There were a couple of things that were done to my dress that I had told them explicitly not to; but by the time I saw the dress again it was either irreversible or if they could reverse it, it didn't look like the original design anymore. read more

Great work. Extremely expensive. May have had to do with my job (which I was asked about before I was given a price quote) which was perceived as high paying but unfortunately is not. $730 to tighten the bust, add french bustle, sew on a rhinestone belt (literally just place it around the waist of the gown). NO length alterations. No alterations to the skirt or anything. I understand I choose to live in Manhattan and things are expensive but I think this was over the top. Essin is very, very nice. But if you need basic alterations she is not for you- simply too expensive. If you need some major thing done to your dress I would consider it. And if asked I would state some sort of job that cannot be misconstrued as high paying. read more

Her work is pricy but she does an amazing job. I went to Esin to have my wedding gown altered. The top was way too small on me, so I had to buy fabric from the dressmaker and cross my fingers. Esin and her team completely remade the entire top of my dress from scratch and it was perfect. I had many fittings, at her request, to get everything just right. Although it is pricey, she lets you know in the beginning how much it will be so it is your choice to use her services or not. read more

After such an upsetting incident 48 hours before my wedding, I feel compelled to warn brides-to-be about Sew Elegant. At my second fitting with Esin -- my first fitting was fine -- my mother forgot to bring my wedding shoes. Esin assured us no alterations to the length of the gown would be made until we came back the following week with the shoes so I could try it on for the perfect fit. I emphasized to Esin how important it was to me that my gown was no shorter than just the right length and thanked her for scheduling me in a week later on short notice. But when my mom and I went back, the gown was already altered -- and way too short. The top sheer silk chiffon layer was still long enough, but the underneath silk layer barely grazed the top of my feet, and it looked terrible. I asked Esin why she went ahead and hemmed the gown without waiting for me to try it on with the shoes, and she blamed her assistant, saying it must have been a mix up. She promised me they could fix it (I had no idea how they'd be able to do so without completely replacing the underneath layer, but honestly, I was afraid to ask), and she was very confident with her statement. We agreed I would return in two weeks (on a Thursday) , which was cutting it close -- two days before the wedding (Saturday). She couldn't do earlier than Monday of that week because she said she couldn't fix the gown any faster than that, and I couldn't come in before Thursday because of my work schedule. But when my mom and I got to Sew Elegant that Thursday, nothing had been done to fix the gown. NOTHING. It was the exact same length it had been the previous visit. Esin barely looked concerned about it -- she certainly did not look sorry -- and even appeared confused when I pointed out that it was too short/not fixed at all. Finally, she seemed to get that I was distressed and promised she would have it fixed the following day and I could try it on for the final fitting. As my mom was working out the details with Esin and I came back from the dressing room, my mom stressed earlier in the day would be better, since I had to take the subway from Brooklyn to get there and we had other appointments (since that would be the day before the wedding). Esin looked at me and said, "Oh, that's not a big deal, I take the train to work from Brooklyn every day!" It was like she had a chip missing or something. As soon as I left, I started crying because I had zero confidence this woman cared enough to correctly alter my wedding gown. The following morning, my mom and I went back and the gown was the right length, thank goodness, and everything was fine on my wedding day -- the straps of the gown were definitely slightly off, but by the time I noticed that detail (when I was putting on the gown two hours before I got married), I barely cared and was just focused on having an amazing time with my husband and loved ones. (Plus, my mom had brought invisible two-sided tape to make sure the straps would stay in place. My mom is awesome.) But the entire gown length dilemma, created entirely by Esin, was emotionally exhausting and I really would have rather not gone through that -- wedding planning is stressful enough. There have to be seamstresses out there who would 1. not put a client in that position by doing their jobs from the get-go and 2. apologize and remedy the problem gracefully and quickly. Esin did neither, and while I'm grateful she was able to deliver on her promise to fix my gown, I could never recommend Sew Elegant to anyone, especially a bride-to-be. read more

Esin altered my wedding dress for me in 2012 and I am so sorry I never reviewed her! I just went back to her listing on yelp as I need a dress altered and noticed I had an unfinished review. She was wonderful- lovely and talented and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend her! I am looking forward to seeing her again. read more

Esin is a WEDDING SAVER! She's more than amazingly talented. I ordered my wedding gown from Lovely Bridal in January. The dress arrived in May too short. They never took my length measurement. They said they'd take care of it and brought in some seamstress that literally patched on length to the bottom of my dress. Long long story short, and 5 visits to the shop later, the dress needed to be reconstructed. When the dress finally got to Esin you can imagine that I had little confidence in anyone being able to fix this dress. I was greeted with a huge hug and words of encouragement. She told me not to worry and that everything was going to be ok. There was something in her warm words that made me believe her. I was told by Lovely Bridal to lose weight. Esin on the other hand, told me to live my life and she would make the dress fit me. On my departure, Esin had asked if I had anything blue for the wedding day. As I thought about it, she said she wanted to give me something from her country. She gave me an evil eye (which I carried with me everyday and put in my dress on the wedding day) to protect me and did it ever. My wedding day fell on the weekend after the worst hurricane to hit the East Coast since 1938. My venue on long island had power, I was able to replace two bridesmaid dresses last second b/c their dresses b/c they're stuck in powerless dry cleaners in lower Manhattan. And for every pain, annoyance, and inconvenience there was something better waiting on the other end. Esin's reconstruction and alterations allowed my dress to fit like a glove. She made the dress custom for me. When my sister and mother saw the finished product they couldn't believe that that was the dress that had caused me such heartache and stress. It was gorgeous. I owe part of my wedding success to Esin. I can't recommend her enough. read more

I bought my wedding dress, a size 10 Pronovias sample, in to Sinam and the Sew Elegant team. If I had been able to order the dress in my size, it would have been around a 4. I was nervous that I'd be laughed out of the shop when I brought in my dress but they didn't bat an eye and got right to work pinning and making the dress mine. In fact, they made the dress fit perfectly! The dress had lace, beading, and buttons, all of which were carefully rearranged and made to look proportional to the new dress. Jola was the lead seamstress and she is so wonderful and so careful. The dress was nearly perfect after trying on after the initial alterations, but one of the arm holes was slightly tight and the team fixed it for my next visit back. The alterations cost $1800 but considering the amount of labor that went into making the dress perfect, I think the cost was appropriate (even despite my initial sticker shock). I had a wonderful experience and highly recommend Sew Elegant! read more

I had my mother's wedding skirt (she originally wore a top and a skirt) re-made here. Esin and her team did a fantastic job! They listened to my requests and re-made a very delicate antique skirt into a more modern, fun piece. They were willing to do whatever style and unique changes I wanted. I came in a couple of times to try it on and make a few small adjustments. The end product is beautiful! The price is definitely high, but we agreed on a price from the beginning and there were no surprises. They had to do a lot of work with delicate fabric so I think it was well worth it to preserve my mother's skirt! read more
