Based on my own experience--and that of my wife--Hyun can do anything with a piece of clothing. I will be specific with my own experience. I had lost almost thirty pounds and took several suits, a military mess dress uniform, and a tuxedo to her for alterations. She carefully pinned up the clothing items as I stood there modeling them. When I got them back, they were as if custom made for me. She is that good. She charges around $165 to totally re-make a man's suit, and I consider that a bargain. These were nice clothes, wool in all cases, and she gave them new life. Be aware that she does not take credit cards, though she will take a personal check. Payment in advance, which is perfectly reasonable. When she retires, which may not be too far in the future, I don't know what we will do.

I say hello and explain that im looking to get a dress altered from the straps, the lady immediately instructed me to go into the fitting room so I proceeded to do so. When I came out of the fitting room she proceeds to adjust the dress pushing my arms out of the way & drawing with the pen ON the dress explaining what needs to be done to the dress. Without giving me any type of estimate on cost or time. I then ask her how long it would take to adjust and asked if it could be possible done by Friday, she got very upset and pointed at the dressing room for me to change & told me "You had to tell me before this Friday is crazy, you had to tell me before the try on" As if there were any instructions given when I first walked in, as I said previously I was just instructed to go into the fitting room no warning of her DRAWING on my dress was given. & I was willing to let that go but she proceeded to yell at me like if it was me inconveniencing HER. I did not want to continue the back and forth and left.
