Al Pastor spicy seared pork & pineapple tacos

When you're looking for street style Mexican food in Leesburg, look no further than the Señor Ramon Taqueria! I'm hooked on the traditional spicy seared pork and pineapple Al Pastor tacos. I recommend the chile de arbol sauce if heat fits your tastebuds. The service is always amazing with Sarahi bar tending, and Alicia and Angelica cooking over the flat top grill. Cheers!

Easy walk up service, not a huge line and they were friendly. Ordered birria and fried shrimp. Shrimp was fresh and crispy. Right amount of layers/sauce to shrimp. Great char on the corn and came out hot. Birria was a soupy mess. Flavors were on point but it was pouring our juice but not in a good way. Almost watery. Over cremed and felt it just was sloppy. I would try again as flavors were good but overall execution felt off.

Wow. That's the best way to describe my experience. Not a good Wow either! Last night October 10th we ordered what was the freshest best tacos around. Today, October 11th , I tried to get a Cali taco and Mexican street corn. For those who don't know , Cali tacos are vegetarian. My son ordered a Lamb taco Morris. To my surprise the lamb taco was stuffed into a box with the veggie Cali tacos AND covered/ soaked in lamb juices. I couldn't eat that. So my fiance drove back to have the Cali tacos remade as they were on 10/10/25. I opened the Mexican street corn trying not to let everything get cold as he was exchanging tacos that were clearly vegetarian and not supposed to be put in a box with lamb. The Mexican street corn was Old and freezing cold. not at all like it was on October 10 how in the world do standards change so drastically within 24 hours I thought I had found the perfect taco place until my fiancé arrived to exchange the Cali tacos at which point they refused to remake the corn and I had to speak with the manager again, the manager I had already called and explained the situation. I let him know that my fiancé was on his way back. I let him know the issues and I let him know what to remake but suddenly a piece of corn wasn't worth a Customer being happy. He told me that all of the corn would be the same quality so basically I was told that all of the corn is sitting there all day long old, cold, wrinkled, and inedible. Dear store owner, whoever is managing your restaurant tonight, October 11th, 2025, should NOT be

Flavorful food. We took a drive through the countryside and decided to walk around the town for a bit. Feeling hungry, we decided to check this place out. Service was good, with very friendly staff taking our order at the counter. And the setting was casual comfortable. There's a wide selection to choose from and we found everything we ordered to be delicious. The meats were moist and cooked perfectly. The corn nuggets were so good, and sweet. For tacos I had the Loco, my wife an Al Pastor, and son a Jose Jose, and two pork empanadas.

Local staple. The staff I encountered were very accommodating when I wanted something different from the menu options. Food was tasty if a little greasy. Still a happy experience.

My earlier reviews were kinda harsh, I am owning all that. It was never the food, but the surly service delivered by some guys working the bar. Probably a covid effect. My last 3 or 4 visits have all been much more pleasant. Service is great, food is excellent, as always. Beer selection is like 8 or more on tap. Menu seems to have expanded too, Mixed drinks are supposed to be keeping pace with the rest of the mixology in LeesVegas. Very friendly guys behind the bar. Tip 'em folks. Also, Happy Hour 2-6 Tues - Thurs.!

Super fast and reliable food. I got the Patagonia and the shrimp specialty tacos and garlic fries. The garlic fries needed salt but other than that the two tacos were very filling! Ambiance is like any fast food restaurant- get seated and eat then go.

Still one of my favorites. Great tacos, great staff but be aware of this: THE HOUSE KEEPS ALL THE TIPS YOU LEAVE THROUGH CREDIT CARD PAYMENT. That's right, unless you leave your tip on the glass jars, Señor Ramon does NOT give the tips you leave with your credit card to their employees. I have corroborated this in multiple occasions. In my opinion, this is fraud and a very dishonest practice. I have notified the Department of Labor, so they can investigate if they wish. Unless their practices change, and they give all the tips to their hard working employees, my rating stays at one star. It's a shame that they have been doing this for years. I can't imagine how many thousands of dollars they have collected over the years on tips that never reach the employees. Shame on you Señor Ramon!

    Margarita

First of all, they don't have queso ... very off putting. The margaritas are extremely salty and overpriced because they come out of a keg. They got our order wrong twice. Service isn't great. AC was out upstairs but downstairs is windowless and bad vibes. Tacos tasted fine but was nothing special. Would not come back.

A different style of Mexican but tasty. Order at the counter and a buzzer sounds when your food is ready. Downstairs seating is odd since there are no windows. Love that on the Friday night the street was blocked off and lots of people milling about.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place! I went with friends on a whim and throughly enjoyed my time here. I ordered the Lola which was a carnitas taco. It was good but dry in my opinion. My second taco was the Señor Ramon which is a carne asada taco. This one I really enjoyed! It was so flavorful and the accompanying additions worked so well. It made me want to order more of it! Lastly, I do admit I found the prices to be a little high but still would go back to try some more things.

Issaa classic goodie!! Love this place. Specifically the one in Leesburg. Food is authentic, empanadas are the best in the DMV. They literally remind me of the empanadas from my Puerto Rico trip. Everything is made fresh each day. All the meats are juicy and bursting with flavor. My go to is the beef empanadas and Barbacoa Tacos I could literally eat this everyday! Facility is clean and they provide hand sanitizer. They have a decent amount of seating but not a ton. They have reallyyy good boozy margs and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Tip: Lunch time is always packed so try and avoid the rush go after 1:30 pm. Also, if you want empanadas don't go really late in the day. They run out most times by 4:30/5:00 pm. Happy eating!

Then while driving around that gas station looking for a spot to park, I smelled some amazing Pollo a La Brassa and saw La Chocita behind the gas station. That smelled drew me in! The folks inside were friendly and sat me promptly. I ordered a quarter chicken and she immediately told me she didn't have any chicken today (I think she meant not ready yet). I said I smelled it and that's why I came in, so she said to wait and went in the back. She came back and said she had chicken, so I assumed the fresh, amazing smelling chicken I came in for that was being cooked was ready. Well, what I got was yesterday's chicken which seemed to be re-heated. It was dry and flavorless... very boring. No spices to be seen or tasted - So very disappointing! The beans that came with it were decent... not a lot of flavor, but great texture and still good. The salad was fresh, their "dressing" was the typical mayo-based sauce and it was ok. Overall - Nothing at all exciting about this visit... I left disappointed.
