Ordered thru door dash .. love this place but I'll never order close to closing... they only put one green and one red salsa in the bag.. the driver has to waited 15 mind for our order the food was hot when we got it.. the baked potato was good but I could have had more meat and more green salsa.. ordered the shrimp tacos.. it was so good very flavorful.. shrimp was deep fried.. loved the carrots on side.. 4 shrimp come in the taco .. the chipotle sauce was a good addition as well.. no pico for me but definitely would order again. Can't wait to try the fish tacos..
Honestly very disappointed with the food. My partner and were craving birria and wanted to try someplace new so we came to La Gran Fish. First of all the consome was very oily, second the tocos were soggy by the time we got them and not at all crunchy, third the passion fruit drink was very bland and mostly ice for $9! Overall would not recommend, there are cheaper and tastier options in Oakland!
It's been so hot lately - pineapple green agua Fresca really hits the spot! Love the fish tacos here- nice and crispy. Salsa verde on the side. We came around noon and there wasn't a line. Aloha club next door was open as well if you wanted to get drinks there. Nice outdoor seating and vibe!

Food is pretty good. I tried the mulitas and vampiros taco for the first time. Definitely liked the vampiros more because of the crunchy corn tortilla. I also like the fried onions, pickled veggies, and salsas included. Great outdoor seating area and easy to park. Had to knock off a star though cause I paid cash and I think I was still charged a $2 fee. I would've just paid with my credit card..
I got to try La Grana after being invited to get takeout there with a friend. They sell keto tacos with various meats and a veggie option, pizza mula, baked potatoes, vampiros, mulitas, and birria ramen, among many others. I appreciate the wide range of choices, but admittedly I was not familiar with many of them and the menu mostly just lists the names of the items without an explanation of the ingredients. There are many outdoor picnic tables with umbrellas here, so it's a decent spot to eat outdoors while keeping some distance from others. I ordered the mulita veggie, vampiro veggie, and espinaca con pina which were around $18 total. The food items were quite cheesy and savory and I enjoyed them. As for the espinaca con pina which is juice with spinach and pineapple, I did find the spinach more overpowering than my preference and would've liked a higher ratio of pineapple flavor but I understand this is probably what I should've expected.
I love love this taco truck! I'm so lucky I get to have this spot in Oakland, and their fish tacos are delicious. I highly recommend to anyone who wants fish, birria or just a good taco truck to go to. They're efficient in communication, very friendly and kind. There are tables for outdoor seating, if you choose to eat there, and it's really beautiful to sit by the bougainvillea tree as well. 100% recommend to everyone.
Wow, another top-tier taco spot in Oakland! I truly believe Oakland gives LA a run for its money when it comes to the best taco spots outside of Mexico. I wasn't sure what to expect since it's tucked behind the Aloha Club--a bar/dance spot across from Fruitvale BART--but I was pleasantly surprised. Parking was a breeze; there's a small lot on the side (look for the sign that says "Car Wash") plus plenty of street parking nearby. The menu immediately signaled that this place was uniquely different. They feature Sinaloa-region seafood specialties like aguachiles and ceviche, alongside traditional Mexican flavors from other regions (birria, mulitas, vampiros, tacos). I ordered two vampiros and a Baja-style fish taco. My wife opted for the seafood aguachiles, which featured fresh shrimp marinated in tangy lime juice with a spicy blend of chilies, accompanied by crisp cucumbers, red onions, and cilantro. Every dish was perfectly seasoned, and the flavors were amazing. The salsa pairing was also on point--salsa roja had a hotter kick than the verde, which was great even though I might have appreciated a bit more heat. The creamy sauce drizzled on the fish tacos was outstanding. I visited in the winter when it was quite chilly, so the outdoor seating felt a bit brisk; however, I believe this spot would be absolutely perfect on a warm summer day. The vibe was fantastic, too. Sharing outdoor seating with the Aloha Club creates an eclectic atmosphere. One minute, you might catch R.E.M. playing, and the next, a Norteño tune takes over. The whole scene is beautifully harmonious--tacos, great music, and refreshing Modelos. Don't skip dessert--we split the churro cheesecake bites, and they were every bit as amazing as their name suggests. I loved this place and highly recommend it. The mix of traditional flavors with bold experimentation--a fusion of various regional Mexican cuisines, like a tasting menu. Good job, chefs!

The people working are always nice and the food comes out really fast. It can get pretty hot since their tables are all outdoors, but the umbrellas help with the shade. I knew right then and there that I needed to start using them for our personal parties. Since then, they have been our go to catering service for our family parties. They offer the opportunity to create a personalized menu to fit your specific needs. The service is also fantastic and the set up is the absolute best!
"Visit Oakland" put out a list of the best taco trucks in Oakland and I am slowly making my way through the list. Last week I made a lunch stop at La Grana Fish. They are known for their queso-birria, although the real star of the show is a lightly battered baja fish taco, that is fried to a golden brown topped with thinly sliced cabbage, pico de gallo and an addictive chipotle crema. I also ordered the pineapple and spinach agua fresca to wash it all down. It was the perfect lunch meal. Seating is spacious with a laid-back brewery feel. It was a chilly fall day but the sun was out and I enjoyed sitting in the mostly empty patio. Staff was friendly and made sure I had everything I needed.

The hype over their fish tacos is well deserved! The fish pieces were battered, fried, and very substantial. I really enjoyed the creamy orange sauce. $5.75 a taco may seem a bit much, but at least the taco size and quality justifies the price. I also ordered the smaller size of ceviche for $15. It came with 2 large round tortilla chips (not sure what these are called) and a packet of saltine crackers. I feel like a bag of tortilla chips would have gone nicely with the ceviche because I ran out of the 2 large chips and crackers before I finished the ceviche. The ceviche itself was perfect. Their spinach pineapple agua fresca was refreshing and reminded me of those Odwalla green smoothies. You do taste the spinach but it's sweet and tastes good! I got here around 5:40 on a Friday and there was plenty of outdoor seating available, though it did start to fill up the longer I stayed. You can enter on either side of the back of Aloha. read more

We ordered aguachiles negros 9/10, mulitas with shrimp 100/10 and loaded potato with asada 10/10. The staff was friendly and welcoming. They answered all of our questions. This place is great! Park in the aloha parking lot. They have lots of outdoor seating with picnic tables. I really enjoyed the salsa bar! Service was friendly and the food was good. They did not have the passion fruit cheesecake but I will be back. I also want to try the loaded baked potatoes. read more
10/10 experience at La Grana Fish! Another gem of East Oakland. The food truck is tucked away off a Main Street, has a lovely courtyard with bench style tables. There is another restaurant that has outside seating beside it where I believe you can order cocktails. I saw several people do that and bring their food over there, so gotta love that since they only offer frescas no alcohol. The people working were sweet and super efficient. They encouraged me to get a drink so I tried their horchata. It was so rich, creamy and not overly sweet. Next time I will try the cucumber juice. I ordered one Baja shrimp taco and one chicken taco. The plate came loaded with cooked onion, lightly grilled jalepano and lime. The Baja shrimp taco was decadent. The shrimp were fried perfectly, and it was a generous portion! The crema on top was excellent. The chicken taco was also super good. I love how they have a salsa bar set up with 3 different types of salsa. I loved the avocado salsa and the red salsa. They also have pickled onions, jalepanos, carrots and cucumbers available to munch on. That was top tier. My bestie ordered the birria, fish tacos and the aguachiles. I tasted all of it and was highly impressed. I will definitely be back! read more

All coming from a mobile kitchen in East Oakland's Fruitvale District. I ordered the Baja Fish Taco, Baja Shrimp Taco, and Taco Gobernador. All were made with fresh ingredients. Great service with decent food but slightly pricey for the birria ramen. I do recommend the tacos though! Food (7/10) - Pretty good food. Ordered a Tapatio combo and 2 shrimp tacos. Starting with the positive, the tacos were really enjoyable! The birria tacos were pretty filled and the shrimp taco was light but really delicious. However, the consommé was also on the blander side (especially for the ramen). Also, the combo as a whole is very heavy and hard to finish without feeling sick so order when eating with someone else! An additional note, do NOT order the birria ramen TO GO. The noodles will be soggy and overcooked by the time you get home. If you order the birria ramen, eat it there. Pricing (7/10) - Decent pricing. Tapatio combo was $21 for the ramen and 2 birria tacos. I think that's a bit expensive considering it is just an instant ramen with broth and meat. As a standalone, it's almost $14 which is a bit on the pricier side. However, I think that tacos are definitely worth the price (seafood tacos around $4 and birria around $5). Other tacos are $3.25. These are all reasonable prices and considering the quality of the tacos, definitely worth it. Service (8/10) - Really nice people working there! The food was served quickly and they were super friendly. I had to wait a bit for my order once I got there but it was because they didn't want the food to get cold. The Fish tacos are perfect! Crispy on the outside, melted in your mouth on the inside! The Mulitas are delicious, it is like an elevated stuffed quesadilla With your choice of meat and fried cheese. Also, recommend the shrimp tacos! read more
The food is delicious! I recommend getting the papas birria potato's and the tapatio birria ramen. If you're still hungry after those two, try anything else on the menu. You won't be disappointed. Yay for the fact that it was seafood forward. Everything tasted pretty fresh and the salsas were great. However it was very oily for us and as such the tummies weren't super happy that's the only qualm but if u like fried highly recommend. If u are sensitive to that id skip. Fun ambiance though. read more

Where are they actually located because I went to the one on 50th and their yelp address and they weren't at both? Also when are they actually open because it says 9-5 but they're not there.

This seems more like a fish taco, ceviche place, is there actual seafood playes?
Is not an actual sea food place. But our menu has shrimp ceviche, fish ceviche, aguachiles, shirmp & fish tacos, we Also have loaded baked potatoes. Ateak tacos, pastor, and cabeza.
