    Fish tacos!

First visit! It was a Tuesday, so you know what that means. Tacos! The fish tacos were beautifully presented, delicious, and piping hot. Can't wait to try them again and the other menu selections.

It's been so hot lately - pineapple green agua Fresca really hits the spot! Love the fish tacos here- nice and crispy. Salsa verde on the side. We came around noon and there wasn't a line. Aloha club next door was open as well if you wanted to get drinks there. Nice outdoor seating and vibe!

Food is pretty good. I tried the mulitas and vampiros taco for the first time. Definitely liked the vampiros more because of the crunchy corn tortilla. I also like the fried onions, pickled veggies, and salsas included. Great outdoor seating area and easy to park. Had to knock off a star though cause I paid cash and I think I was still charged a $2 fee. I would've just paid with my credit card..

I got to try La Grana after being invited to get takeout there with a friend. They sell keto tacos with various meats and a veggie option, pizza mula, baked potatoes, vampiros, mulitas, and birria ramen, among many others. I appreciate the wide range of choices, but admittedly I was not familiar with many of them and the menu mostly just lists the names of the items without an explanation of the ingredients. There are many outdoor picnic tables with umbrellas here, so it's a decent spot to eat outdoors while keeping some distance from others. I ordered the mulita veggie, vampiro veggie, and espinaca con pina which were around $18 total. The food items were quite cheesy and savory and I enjoyed them. As for the espinaca con pina which is juice with spinach and pineapple, I did find the spinach more overpowering than my preference and would've liked a higher ratio of pineapple flavor but I understand this is probably what I should've expected.

I love love this taco truck! I'm so lucky I get to have this spot in Oakland, and their fish tacos are delicious. I highly recommend to anyone who wants fish, birria or just a good taco truck to go to. They're efficient in communication, very friendly and kind. There are tables for outdoor seating, if you choose to eat there, and it's really beautiful to sit by the bougainvillea tree as well. 100% recommend to everyone.

I wanted to like it, tastes great. But at $5.75 a gobernador taco, I expected more than 3 micro-sized pieces of shrimp. I'll try their fish taco and update.

Wow, another top-tier taco spot in Oakland! I truly believe Oakland gives LA a run for its money when it comes to the best taco spots outside of Mexico. I wasn't sure what to expect since it's tucked behind the Aloha Club--a bar/dance spot across from Fruitvale BART--but I was pleasantly surprised. Parking was a breeze; there's a small lot on the side (look for the sign that says "Car Wash") plus plenty of street parking nearby. The menu immediately signaled that this place was uniquely different. They feature Sinaloa-region seafood specialties like aguachiles and ceviche, alongside traditional Mexican flavors from other regions (birria, mulitas, vampiros, tacos). I ordered two vampiros and a Baja-style fish taco. My wife opted for the seafood aguachiles, which featured fresh shrimp marinated in tangy lime juice with a spicy blend of chilies, accompanied by crisp cucumbers, red onions, and cilantro. Every dish was perfectly seasoned, and the flavors were amazing. The salsa pairing was also on point--salsa roja had a hotter kick than the verde, which was great even though I might have appreciated a bit more heat. The creamy sauce drizzled on the fish tacos was outstanding. I visited in the winter when it was quite chilly, so the outdoor seating felt a bit brisk; however, I believe this spot would be absolutely perfect on a warm summer day. The vibe was fantastic, too. Sharing outdoor seating with the Aloha Club creates an eclectic atmosphere. One minute, you might catch R.E.M. playing, and the next, a Norteño tune takes over. The whole scene is beautifully harmonious--tacos, great music, and refreshing Modelos. Don't skip dessert--we split the churro cheesecake bites, and they were every bit as amazing as their name suggests. I loved this place and highly recommend it. The mix of traditional flavors with bold experimentation--a fusion of various regional Mexican cuisines, like a tasting menu. Good job, chefs!

La grana fish is a great place to visit if you want good quality food! I originally tried their food at their physical location and I was very impressed. Everything we ordered was really good. I knew right then and there that I needed to start using them for our personal parties. Since then, they have been our go to catering service for our family parties. They offer the opportunity to create a personalized menu to fit your specific needs. The service is also fantastic and the set up is the absolute best!

Omg - love these tacos so much. Definitely my favorite fish taco spot in the Bay Area. The salsas are perfect and I love their orange sauce. The people working are always nice and the food comes out really fast. It can get pretty hot since their tables are all outdoors, but the umbrellas help with the shade. They're a little bit on the pricier side, but totally worth it

"Visit Oakland" put out a list of the best taco trucks in Oakland and I am slowly making my way through the list. Last week I made a lunch stop at La Grana Fish. They are known for their queso-birria, although the real star of the show is a lightly battered baja fish taco, that is fried to a golden brown topped with thinly sliced cabbage, pico de gallo and an addictive chipotle crema. I also ordered the pineapple and spinach agua fresca to wash it all down. It was the perfect lunch meal. Seating is spacious with a laid-back brewery feel. It was a chilly fall day but the sun was out and I enjoyed sitting in the mostly empty patio. Staff was friendly and made sure I had everything I needed.

Ordered uber eats specifically said if they don't have strawberry tres leches refund me do not send me any random cake Then the potatoe I asked for bacon to be removed instead they dumped extra bacon

My favorite taco truck in the East Bay. My favorite tacos are the fish, quesabirria, and pollo. They make the best pollo taco I've ever had---it has this addicting, smoky flavor to it. Food comes out super quick, and they have plenty of outdoor tables to eat at.

No fuss taqueria food truck!! The Birria Tacos with the consomé is elite!!!!! The carne asada was delicious but could've been seasoned a little more. We stopped foe HH but no one was drinking. yet, the vibe was fun and they got raggaeton playing to get the vibes started. If you're looking for a taqueria, make a stop here and form your own opinion

From the outside, it looks like a straightforward taco truck, but wow was I surprised. I ordered the Carnitas Super Taco, which came loaded with lettuce, cheese, cilantro, onions, sour cream, and guacamole. Everything was fresh, well seasoned, and packed with flavor. My only complaint? You only get one taco per order because I definitely could've eaten another. The Kid ordered the Carne Asada Super Taco and before we even pulled away, she was asking for a second one. That's usually a pretty good sign. We also tried the horchata and jamaica, and both were delicious. The horchata was creamy and flavorful, while the jamaica was refreshing and not overly sweet. What surprised me most was how quickly they got the food out, especially considering how popular this spot seems to be. He said he would replace them and he asked that we bring the chicken burritos back. This was already an inconvenience because we live 15 minutes away, so gas was wasted getting all the way over there and back. When they were picked up, instead of owning up to his mistake, the guy still insisted that we ordered chicken. Again, we did not. I'd thought the place had lost its touch, but maybe it was just an off day. Today in May of 2026 I've managed to visit while it's a slow day, and I was pleasantly satisfied with my food. I ordered a Carnitas burrito, and it was just as delicious as I'd remembered it one decade ago. While I was eating the first half of my burrito I was thinking "this is good, but burritos are good.. is it better than other burritos I've had, and why?" Something is different about burritos at Tacos Sinaloa, the food reflects that of some regional tacos trucks scattered throughout the East bay, but they're very distinct in how well they're capable of doing this style of Mexican food. As I said earlier- burritos are good. I think they are good because everything tastes good together, but not all burritos are created equal. The first thing that stood out to me about my burrito was the tortilla. It's not your standard tortilla, and it's nothing extravagant, but it seemed intentional. The tortilla is softer, thinner, and it holds up, but it's not chewy. It's there and it soaks up the oils and it doesn't take away from anything. In my experience, a bad tortilla can make a burrito less enjoyable. This tortilla adds in that it's barely there and it's pleasant because it soaks up the flavors without detracting. On the insides, the beans and rice can give or take away depending on where you get your burrito from. At Tacos Sinaloa on this particular day, the beans and rice did not take away from the burrito. The pinto beans were plum and creamy, and tasted like pintos. No nonsense- they added because they didn't subtract, I could go on about grainy beans or starchy over seasoned bean liquid, but NONE OF THAT HERE. The rice had perfect texture. It almost like 'al dente', but not in a chewy way, it had just enough rice texture and didn't get in the way of the other ingredients. It was mildly seasoned with your classic Mexican rice (aromatic tomato broth like flavor). No nonsense, no unnecessary spices, not over saturated in liquid, or turned to mush. Just good simply season rice. Cheese and sour cream- Salty Mexican cheese, presumably Oaxaca or something similar. Adds little salty flavor explosions throughout the burrito. Sour cream, added tangy acidity that cuts through the fatty ness making it taste more lively. Of coarse, the lovely creaminess. If you're not having your burrito with these I'm very sorry for you. The star of the show- The Carnitas here is just done right. It's not over seasoned with anything, it just tastes like melty delicious braised pork shoulder, then fried to accentuate it with crispy mallard bits that surprise you throughout the burrito. Towards the end of my experience I came to the conclusion that what makes a Tacos Sinaloa burrito good is that its ingredients forward- each ingredient tastes good on its own, and that can't be said for all burritos. It's not a burrito for the sake of being a burrito. All the ingredients seem intentionally chosen so that none get in the way of one another. I want to say they make the meat the star of the show, but even if you were to have a bean and rice and cheese + sour crème burrito here it would be an exceptional burrito, which is a testament to their culinary philosophy. Last but not least- yes they have salsa, and of coarse it's good, and I love that they give lemon slices with your food - it's another small intentional detail that they offer lemon instead of lime. Carnitas burrito 5/5. Sinaloa overall 4/5 because of inconsistency.

The main reason I never went before was the parking situation, which honestly can be a little challenging, but for this visit we found parking down the block and around the corner. The short walk after dinner ended up being nice anyway. We had reservations, although we did wait about 15 extra minutes while another party finished their meal. My family member pointed out they were enjoying drinks, so that probably added some time. The waiter was very friendly, attentive, and clearly trying to get us seated as quickly as possible. Water was brought to the table right away, and our drink order was taken promptly. I ordered the chicken salad and was pleasantly surprised to learn the mango vinaigrette dressing did not contain oils, since I personally avoid seed oils. The salad was fresh and delicious. Some of my family members ordered the buffet, which looked incredible. At first it seemed like too much food for me that day, but once I saw everything included, I started thinking maybe I should have ordered it too since it was only about seven dollars more. They brought complimentary chips, guacamole, and salsa to the table, and everything was so flavorful. The guacamole was especially delicious, and they happily refilled the chips several times. I finally understood why the restaurant is called "Los Moles" because their mole sauces are outstanding. I got to try some from my son's plate, and it definitely made me want to come back and explore more of the different mole options. They also offer vegetarian choices, which is great. Although I am very particular about cooking surfaces, my food is cooked on and in, the Mexican coffee which was heated in some type of who knows what metal, had a good flavor. It inspired me to re-create it at home. Another standout for me was the freshly made corn tortillas served with the meals. They were soft, warm, and incredibly good. I also tried the beans, which were full of flavor. Overall, this restaurant really stood out in my memory, and I definitely want to return someday to try more moles.

On top of that, the advertised ingredients (sour cream, pico de gallo, guacamole) were completely missing. What arrived was basically a dense tube of cheap rice and rubbery meat. At first I assumed this must have been a one-off disaster. Then I started reading the Yelp reviews. And suddenly a pattern emerged: stale chips, stale tacos, food making people sick, delivery orders arriving wrong or poorly made, hostile service interactions, customers being spoken to aggressively, and an overall sense that quality control has completely collapsed. One reviewer even described an employee asking if they "wanted to fight." Another described disputing charges over incorrect orders because the food quality was so poor. What makes this especially disappointing is that the restaurant presents itself as a serious modern Bay Area Mexican concept tied to an admired culinary name. Instead, the actual execution feels careless, inconsistent, and deeply below the standards the restaurant markets itself on. Restaurants can survive a bad night. What they cannot survive is the perception that nobody cares anymore. Right now, that is exactly the impression Todos Cantina gives off. Frankly, this is an embarrassment to the legacy and reputation associated with the Martinez name. I truly hope someone steps in and turns this place around, because based on my experience (and many others here) things have gone badly off the rails.
