I ordered via Uber eats and I'd given zero stats if I could as the egg drop soup was literally water died with yellow food coloring there's no egg in it. There's no flavor and the Mac salad is noodles with mayo no flavor. I would've never thought that someone can mess up egg drop soup, but literally it taste like water with food coloring.

    Yuk

Delivery took forever (almost an hour ). Chicken chow mein - oily tasteless noodles, few veggies & a few dry/old chicken cubes. The California rolls were not impressive at all. The rice was dry. I was pretty disappointed with my meal.

After a long day of apartment hunting, we found SushiEn convenient to visit as the yelp reviews…read morementioned it being reasonably priced and delicious. I am giving it three stars because I think the Ramen is great here, however, the quality of fish is not for fish lovers. We ordered the Black ramen, which has a delicious roasted black garlic broth, and the Red ramen which was a miso spicy broth. Both came with a roasted jalapeño, which was an interesting and delicious addition to the soup. The black garlic Ramen, especially was so delicious and on par with something you would get in Japan. As mentioned earlier, the quality of the fish in the teriyaki salmon bento was not there. The fish tasted muddy on its own without the teriyaki sauce which was disappointing. The restaurant is small and offers only a few places to sit. There was a large TV that was playing K-pop loudly. The woman working was nice to mute the music for us since we sat at the table directly under the monitor. Overall, I recommend this place for the Black Ramen or for cheap sushi! Just stay away from anything where the fish is the star of the show because the quality is not the best!

The service was nice to their customers and were very helpful on what to try out on the menu. The ambiance here was quite nice. For the price of food and the amount you get, I can't complain! The flavor of their own seafood boil sauce (boom sauce?) is a standard seafood boil flavor, it's legit. The flavors don't overwhelm you and make you wanna go to the toilet right away, you know what I mean? The family pack comes with 3 corn on the cob, 3 sausage pieces and 3 potatoes (like a medium sized potato!) it was good but I wish the seafood had time to sit in the sauce, you can tell the food was dumped on the sauce. We had to fight to scoop some sauce onto our mussels cause the bag was so full of food- what a good problem to have. Maybe the sauce is a bit thin? Maybe that's why it didn't stick to the food? Service was good, the ladies were attentive and professional. The decor looked like this place was known to be a bar- I mean there's a huge bar to the side. There's even a second floor but no one was seated there so it doesn't look used. Cute decor with the sea theme. Not happy about their toilet in the women's restroom. There's a a sign saying to please not dispose the toilet seat covers in the toilet cause it could clog it up. I was being a nice person and went to the trouble of respecting their wishes. It was gross as I was being careful not to touch the peed parts of the toilet seat cover. Don't judge me, only God can judge me! Come here to feed your family and friends at a very reasonable price! And if you're a lady you're gonna have to hover while you pee if you don't want to deal with the toilet seat cover disposal issue...

Been a year since my last update so thought I'd update my review!…read more They're open daily from 11am-7pm Love that they are expanding and the business next to them is going to turn into a place for dine in experience! How exciting! Parking can be difficult since it is pretty small and this spot is always busy regardless of the time and day! NOTE: You can only enter thru the back door by the parking lot because the front door is usually locked. Inside has such much variety of sushi, Japanese merchandise and groceries, as well as a fish market located all the way in the back. The fridges are packed with lots of variety of sushi and bowls. Love how you can choose any fish from the glass window and the staff will ask whether you want it sliced or not. The line is always long so be prepared to wait but it moves quite fast. Pricing is so reasonable and most of the sushi are $9+. Such a steal! Staff was friendly and welcoming. I used my SGV Food Passport and redeemed a free salmon avocado roll (or California Roll). What a deal! It came with 12 mini rolls packed with salmon and avocado. The salmon was so fresh and delicious! This is one of my favorite rolls there so glad I got it free! I also got the Unagi Sushi. It consisted of 12 mini eel rolls. It was stuffed with eel and packed with flavor. It tasted so yummy and fresh. Definitely one of my favorites! Last but not least, got the Nigiri! It consisted of tuna, salmon, and yellowtail. This was my absolute favorite! It was so buttery and fresh. It literally melted in my mouth but how soft it was. The portion of fish was so generous and so good! Absolute must get! Overall, I really enjoyed my experience and my food so I'll definitely recommend and return.

There was a considerable queue for ordering, and similarly, a lengthy line at the cashier. They offered an impressive array of candies, snacks, teas, sake, and various other Japanese products. Knowing my husband would likely be displeased with a prolonged wait in the car, I opted to purchase only wafer ice cream sandwiches and red bean mochi. I certainly plan to return, but I will ensure my next visit does not immediately follow working hours.

Big fan of their happy hour since you get 30% off and you just have to order before it ends at 3pm. They even came around to remind us that happy hour was about to end and asked if we wanted to order anything else which I appreciated. We happened to go during one of the world cup games and they had it playing on all their TVs which was a nice surprise. We ordered 2 apps and 4 rolls which were super affordable with their family combo meal thing (4 rolls for a set price regardless of which ones you choose). This was plenty of food for 4 people and we were pretty stuffed by the end. Overall food wasn't necessarily 5/5 for me but the experience and prices are def worth a return to this spot for me Spicy tuna crispy rice: 5/5 I liked that there were toppings besides just tuna and the rice was crispy and hot when I ate it Chicken karaage: 4/5 liked this a lot, especially whatever sauce came with it. I did think there was a little too much batter for my personal preference though Truffle seared salmon roll: 3/5 not bad but I don't love seared fish in general Black spider roll: 3/5 I didn't love the crab and there was just a little too much eel sauce for me but my friends liked it a lot Ceviche rainbow roll: 5/5 wasn't sure how I felt about this combo after seeing it on the menu but I thought it worked surprisingly well. Would def recommend Rainbow roll: 4/5 nothing crazy but I liked it

When I asked if the bento came with miso soup the waiter said no, but I could substitute the salad for miso soup instead, which I did. Surprised, since most bento boxes I've had include miso soup by default. The chicken was underwhelming lacked flavor, plus a lot of fatty, chewy bits and bone fragments. The crab rolls were basically a California roll with crab swapped in, no toppings, no sauce, nothing special. Ramen was decent, generous noodles, two pieces of pork, but pretty basic. Not sure if ownership or management changed since my last visit, but compared to my previous review, a lot feels different, makes me wonder if the food quality shifted too. Overall, not sure I'll be back anytime soon. Fine as a last resort if nothing else is open, but wouldn't go out of my way.
