    6 inches Strawberry Cake
    Jacqueline K.

Last Minute Birthday Cake. I was looking for a good quality yet reasonable price Strawberry Birthday Cake for my husband. I gave them a call at 4:30pm, and they said have one 6 inch Strawberry cake left. I drove right away to pick up. Surprisingly it was a beautiful layered with fresh Strawberry cake. My husband loves it. Thank you for saving my day. Definitely go for a custom cake next time.

Needed a refresher so my daughter picked us up some tea. Located in a shopping center with convenient parking right in front. I had the Jasmine team sweetened 25% with no Boba. Packaging is nice but for the cost a bit overpriced for me.

Been here twice for there cakes and they are very good and always fresh. Service is usually quick but can slow down because it's a small business with not much staff. It's cozy and has quite the extensive drink menu. I will be back for more sweet treats!

I haven't been around the ELAC area to know that there's a new boba place that ordered. I was first attracted by the name actually. I finally got to check the place out recently and ordered some of their cakes: red velvet with strawberry and coconut. First of all, the cakes are both nicely decorated. It's not overly sweet. There's not much of a red velvet flavor actually so I don't think I can tell there's a flavor associated with the cake if I didn't read the label. To my surprise though, the coconut one is quite good. The flavor stands out yet not overly powering. Most of the people of my group who tried both prefer the coconut cake actually. As far as the price goes, it's a tad pricy but I guess the cakes are nicely decorated so that somewhat justified it.

Ambiance: it's located in a small plaza, shared parking lot with other merchants Service: very friendly and welcoming, patient with questions and served drink adequately Food & Drink: variety of choices for drinks and cakes in the display Strawberry Cake Box - **** strawberry cream and red velvet cake, great presentation and taste, recommend Purple Unicorn (no Caffeine) - *** large size only, lychee and strawberry base with butterfly pea power, added lychee popping boba, sour taste Price: overpriced for its quality, expect $20 per order for a drink and a small cake box

Vanilla iced latte and the strawberry cake

I literally had the best cake of my entire life! I'm truly not exaggerating when I say that their strawberry cake was ssssoo amazing. It was the perfect blend of cream and strawberry. I really did not expect it to be this amazing but it was so good. I also had the iced vanilla latte but it was not my favorite. I'm excited to try their other drinks on the menu. They have a lot to choose from. Cute little space and nice customer service

Greeted by two friendly ladies who I believe own the shop. Walking in you not only see delicious pastries, you smell everything and it's oh so good! We had a taste for boba and decided to try this place out. Our drinks were fairly priced and prepared quickly. It was a very good and refreshing drink. Now as far as the location, it offers a small inside seating area as well as a small patio with shaded seating. The only downfall is the lot it is in, the parking is almost always full. So you may have to drive around a bit, but once your settled it's a cute little spot.

Small location that took over what was Boba Ave. We tried a few of their cakes and some of their drinks. If you want a whole cake you will need to place an order ahead of time, they only have slices in their display case. Drinks were mediocre. Pinacolada Smoothie- tasted off, not sure if it wasn't enough pineapple or coconut was too artificial. Passion Fruit Tiramisu- was great, perfect layer tangy sweetness jelly over top of light cream and cake layers. Doesn't feel too heavy. Mango Mille Cake (crepe cake)- wasn't too sweet. Cream in between layers was just right. Crepe had a good texture, airy and thin. Coffee Basque Cheesecake- was not my favorite. Cheesecake is topped with a mousse and it didn't feel coherent. Coffee mousse felt a little waxy than creamy. Cheesecake wasn't smooth, a little lumpy.

Delicious wide variety of drinks and cakes! This area has been needing a cafe/bakery like this. I ordered the strawberry banana smoothie and mango mixed yogurt drink. Both drinks were delicious with good texture. The smoothie is also made with fresh fruits. The cake box was tasty and not too sweet with a light cream. Located in a plaza with parking. There is some seating available inside.

Small little shop with solid milk tea, smoothies, and all sorts of desserts. 5 STARS Very attentive owner is a nice lady. Don't be immature and rude. Ambiance is a small cafe shop.

There are a few tables if you'd like to enjoy your food there, but we decided to get everything to go. The staff told us the pastries could stay out of the refrigerator for up to an hour, so we were worried the cakes might melt on the way home. Thankfully, they stayed in perfect condition. We especially loved the croissants. They were incredibly flavorful and surprisingly large, so I'd recommend getting a few different flavors to share. My favorites were the almond and Parisian croissants. They gave some free macarons at the end!

Background On Visit: I was primarily going to RWT (Pokemon Card Shop) Collective on the second floor of the plaza, Something about the line and a average of 5 stars on their yelp page made me want to patronize the shop. So I did. Credit Cards: They're accepted. Restroom: Didn't see a restroom. :) Wait Time: Can be long. Luckily, I didn't wait long when I patronized the shop. Location/Parking: Located in a plaza on the NW corner of Sawtelle Blvd. and W. Olympic. There's a couple of shared 15 minute parking spots in the parking lot, paid parking structure, or meter parking along Olympic, Sawtelle, or surrounding streets. I did find a secret place with free 2 hour parking on the NE corner of Purdue Ave. and Olympic Blvd.. :) Ambiance/Decor: Neat ambiance with a few modern furnishings to sit, eat, and enjoy ones company. Service: Service was great! Tera (staffer) was very nice, attentive, offered great suggestions, and was quite informative about the shop. She also informed me that I was able to get two complimentary macarons. Patisserie Of Choice: 1) Blossom: Consisted of vanilla mousse, pistachio/red berries insert, pistachio crunch, and pistachio sponge. It was too pretty to eat, but I ate it anyways. So good and soo yum! 2) Roche: Consisted of hazelnut mousse, house made praline combined with soft caramel, hazelnut sponge. Taste like a Ferrer Rocher! It's very dense and sweet, but great to eat. Not something I'll have all the time. Macarons Of Choice : I got the Cookies and Cream and pistacio. They were both good. Artelice Patisserie For Thought: Wouldn't mind coming back. I'm coming for you almond croissant.

They seemed kind of confused. My Man Go: 2/10. A trompe l'œil pastry designed to look like a mango, filled with fresh mango, mango mousse, and sitting atop a hazelnut praline cookie. For starters, the chocolate shell was soft and lacked the crispness of properly tempered chocolate. Either that, or it had started melting due to improper temperature regulation in the case. The fresh mango was overripe and had no texture; the mousse was similarly made of overripe mango and was room temperature. The praline was not made properly, and had zero structure. I don't really understand how all of these things can be true when it appears as though the pastries are sitting in a refrigerated case. What a waste of mango. Interior was standard, no decorations. TVs playing Tik Tok reviews. Tables were all dirty, probably because of the lack of structural integrity of the pastries.

Safe to say that I'm obsessed but I think that's a testament to how good their matcha and pastries are. Their matcha is my new favorite in OC. I get the matcha latte at 75% sweet which is SO SO GOOD! It's a perfect balance of sweet and still being able to taste the flavor and bitterness of the matcha. I'm surprised more people don't talk about their matcha. Don't get me started on their pastries and desserts... ALSO SO GOOD. They have such a huge variety of pastries, both sweet and savory, that it's hard to choose but that also means there's something for everyone. My favorites are their blueberry brioche, matcha cruffin, and egg bacon bread. The egg bacon bread surprised me since it's made of rice flour and has a chewy/mochi like consistency - it's so unique and you just have to try it.
