Chicken Piccata

We came with our large extended family, and the restaurant easily accommodated our group of seven. Every dish we ordered was excellent -- which says a lot, since it's rare for all of us to agree! The food was outstanding, and the service was warm, welcoming, and attentive. We can't wait to come back! Would you like me to make it sound a little more elegant (for a fine dining spot) or lively (for a casual, upbeat restaurant)?

I have to say that they have one of the best tiramisu's that I have eaten,I love the amaretto. The place was charming inside. Brian was nice although he could've been a little bit more attentive so my husband wouldn't have to ask for a second drink that has been empty for a bit. Plus they had to tell him for a different times I had a reservation. I was not impressed with the Bolognese. Something was off about it. And my pasta was more than al dente when I picked it up with a fork. It kind of just all stuck together. I expressed my concerns to Marco one of the owners and he was truly confused because I guess that never happens. People are pretty satisfied with their product. He asked me if I would like something else, at that time, I didn't, but I did talk myself into the tiramisu and he gladly paid for that. They really did try to make it right, but I truly was a little nervous about ordering a different entrée. They were so nice, I want to go back, I just don't know when... I think next time it'll have to be the A-Team.

It's a cozy little place looked likes it was once a sushi place. We decided to go in for dinner. We ordered Caesar salad, lobster ravioli and the bolognese. Caesar salad was kind of dry asked for more dressing = better. We asked if bread came with meal since we were starving. Answer is no, so we ordered bread. Bolognese didn't quite taste like what I'm used to and noodles seemed mushy or overcooked. Food was okay it felt a little overpriced. They do have a $6 happy hour menu. I may try that next time I'm in the area.

Third time dining here and everything was amazing like always. Loved that the beer was served in ASU glasses. The vodka pasta is so delicious. Service is quick and everyone is always nice and welcoming. Not too loud so it is easy to have a conversation.

Fabulous authentic Italian!! Family owned and all scratch made. Cozy restaurant with indooor seating and a great outdoor patio. Amazing homemade sauces, pastas, desserts and fabulous main dishes!! The chicken parm is a must!!!! Friendliest staff!! Takeout is just as great as eating in.

We were doing a staycation at the JW and craving some pasta. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and our server was extremely attentive. I started with a delicious espresso martini. We ordered the focaccia with a pesto whipped ricotta. It was soooo fresh and delicious!! My two kids even enjoyed it, and they're the pickiest eaters! We also all split the Caesar salad. Again, very yummy and our boys approved! My husband devoured the short rib pacceri. The short rib melted in his mouth! I had the pasta Tuscan style. It was pretty good but I don't think I would order it again. I don't like mushrooms and I think this is probably a key element to the dish. It's my own fault! Overall, great experience and I would go back!!

Was looking for a place for dinner before heading to comedy show nearby. Sfizio had great reviews so we decided to try it out. I'm so glad we went. The restaurant has a great decor and ambiance. The food was delicious. If you're in the area I would definitely recommend this place.

We had a reservation for Sunday night but it wasn't necessary as the restaurant wasn't busy. My family enjoyed the pizza, pasta, lasagna and cannoli's. My picky eater was pleasantly surprised and ate all of the kids spaghetti and meatball. The eggplant rollatini was over powered by the ricotta. It took quite awhile for our server to take our order which was a downside. Otherwise it was great, would recommend.

My husband and I are always getting pizza but we rarely go to Italian places so we decided to come here tonight! It is where humble pie used to be which I used to frequent in high school haha. It was a fun ambiance, there's a patio, and you can see the wood fired pizza oven! Service was great they were accommodating for our almost 1 year old son! We got the focaccia to start which was fluffy and delicious, loved the spread with it too. For my meal I got gnocchi which they make in house. My husband is very picky and had never tried gnocchi but he had a bite and thought it was really good too! My husband got a pepperoni pizza. My son enjoyed some crust. We left saying we can't believe we hadn't been here before and need to come back to try more things! A little more on the expensive side as Italian restaurants often are, but totally worth it!

Decent pastas. We got the food to-go delivery. The pastas are homemade, but I did not notice anything special.

I'm gonna give three stars because the service was great at the bar and the server was attentive outside and quick although she didn't know the menu well. I ordered the cheese plate to split with my children and no one knew what was on it when I asked, but I was later informed that I got a tomato jelly and honey mustard as the sauces. To me a $30 cheese plate would not come with a container of honey mustard so I was not impressed. When I asked what cheeses were on it they told me there was 2 different cheddars. There was no way it was a cheddar it was a very soft cheese. I believe it was a goat cheese. The almonds were probably the best part of the whole platter. My husband got wings, which were very big. He enjoyed those and the sauce, and my other daughter got meatballs, which she enjoyed, but thought they were a little spicy, I find that usually when kids order things that are spicy servers will say just so you know that has a little bit of heat to it to which the waitress did not again, I don't think she was very knowledgeable on the menu in general . For the type of hotel twenty6 was kinda of major let down. Definitely will pass on the next visit.

This beer-focused bar isn't the easiest to find because it's underground down a stairwell. Look for the signage close to the stairwell. Ambiance (3.5/5): We sat at a booth at the bar. It's one of the few seats that have back support (which is important to me due to my old man back). Outside of that, it's all barstool seating with no back support inside. Outside, they have a small patio with chairs. That would be another option for me when the weather cooperates. The decor inside is your typical beer bar decor. Laid back. Comfortable. There's a jukebox. A cool place to grab some brews. Service (3.5/5): Two bartenders were working that evening and they were pretty solid. I did have to grab their attention a few times but no biggie. The Whining Pig has daily specials including a beer and grilled cheese combo on Wednesdays. I was curious on the price. They didn't know nor did they find out. That was a miss. Food (N/A): No food for me on this visit as I had dinner prior. They have a small menu, mostly made up of various grilled cheese sandwiches. They have a classic one, a pizza one, and a few others. I'm a dan of grilled cheese so I'll definitely try one out at some point. They also have charcuterie boards. Drinks (4.5/5): Now for the good stuff! Unlike most beer spots, they also have wine and several cocktails. But when in Rome, so I went with a beer flight. You can choose five beers of your choosing from a list of 40 beers or so. While they don't brew their own beer, they have an interesting selection of local craft beers and European ones. The types of beers you're not going to find at your neighborhood bar, including saisons and sours. The flight is served in a pig shape holder which was pretty funny. Flights are always my go-to when they're offered as they allow you to try out a nice variety. Added bonus: Walk down the hallway past the bathrooms and you'll run into Pigtails---a speakeasy owned by the same folks. That way, you can get both your brews and elevated cocktails fix in the same night.

Look for the bronze sign, look over the hedges, look for the stairs leading downstairs into the outdoor bar patio area, follow the walking map on Yelp! Once you locate it though you find yourself inside this cool bar with tons of beer, ipa, cider & wine options on a chalkboard wall in color coordination to make it easy to choose. If you still can't decide the friendly bar staff will help you out, there are a lot of options. They do have some things on happy hour. Food wise they have a charcuterie board, grilled cheese sandwiches& potato chips. Menu items from Pigtails are also available at the bar. There is a big bar top area and other indoor table seating, patio is shady during the day. I'd recommend this spot if you're out shopping and need a break or if you just want a cool bar to hang out at. If you like ciders the Black Widow -Original Sin cider is very delicious.

And then 20 minutes passed our reservation time, still no one came over. We said something to one of the young ladies working, and she took us back. We asked her if the guy even said anything that we were there, and she said no. Other people were just walking in and out, but we were told we had to wait. Who knows, maybe he just forgot.
