What a fun new place, an unexpected wonderful find during our visit to Springfield. It's a fun concept: each person has their own soup and warmer spot with unlimited items on conveyor belt, which includes various noodles, mushrooms, veggies, seafood (fresh and frozen shrimp, oyster, muscles, fresh calamari), dumplings, egg rolls, and sweet sesame balls. Lunch price ($20) includes 5 meat items and dinner price ($30) has more premium items plates that servers will bring over upon request. There's a limit of 4 meat plates per table. They also have a serve it yourself condiments station. I had a pork base soup and my husband had chicken and herb base soup. I like to put all the tough food in first that will take awhile to cook or won't get soft if it's in there for a long time, i.e. quail eggs, tofu, bak choy; then cook & eat the pork belly and other meats. Because more meat in soup = more flavorful! I love the ability to personalize my soup. When we're in Springfield, we'll definitely be visiting again!

Hot pot is finally in Springfield! We came on a Wednesday night around 7 pm. It was fairly busy, but there were lots of employees walking around and helping. We were seated for 10 people quite quickly. Service was fast with drinks and getting our soups! Step one: we ordered individual broths. I had the #1 where they crossed out the "spicy". It tasted reminiscent of tom yum. Step two: all you can eat meat. We ordered beef brisket, toro, and rib eye. They're very thinly sliced and we could order as many as we wanted. There were lots of options. Step three: the conveyor belt was such a cool idea that I haven't seen done for hot pot (and I've had lots of hot pot across the country!). I liked the variety and the ease of access in picking whatever you wanted. We also had the option of mixing our own sauces. Best part was the free ice cream after!

Soup was ok but, seriously, over $70 for two bowls of soup??? We got there at 7:00, they close at 8:00. They stopped loading the conveyor shortly after we got our hot pot. Our waiter was busy cleaning so our service spotty at best. Restaurant was a little crowded but not terribly noisy except for the screaming kid on the other side of the restaurant.

Split plate for soup and warming dish for appetizers that come from conveyor belt.

My niece was in town visiting from California and she wanted to try hot pot which neither of us had tried before and this place did not disappoint! The ambience was great, there were so many options to choose from, and the service was spectacular! Our waitress was Christiana and she was friendly, very attentive, and gave us thorough instructions on how everything works and where everything is. We had our fill of food and will definitely come back to try out all the other options we didn't get to try! The conveyor belt had many options that a tv monitor will explain what it is and there are 'extras' that are not displayed in the slideshow and change often and you can always ask wait staff about.

This place is so amazing. Best time is to come right as soon as they open. The service is great~ everyone is so friendly and they explain everything to do so simple. I recommend this place so much!!!

Amazing!! First order a broth, then a main meat (up to 4 per person), then pick off the conveyor belt to your heart's content.

It's good but a bit pricey for lunch. So if you don't mind a $20 each for lunch you will be fine

The inside was dimly lit with tables as you walk in and to the back. There is also an outside seating area. We ordered at the register and our food was brought out to us. The menu is easy to understand, but the staff was able to answer all of our questions and explain different menu items in detail. Everyone was nice and welcoming. I got the Hotstone Bibimbap (suggested by the lady who took my order because it continues to cook when served, making the rice crispy and vegetables hot. I chose white rice topped with bulgogi and spicy shrimp. For sauce, I chose Sesame and Kochi to a little add extra kick. I had the kimchi put to the side. It also came with a miso soup . This whole combination was so delicious. Stayed hot the entire time and was plenty enough to share. The Yaki Soba, which is a noodle dish, was also very flavorful, came out fresh and hot. The Japchae was equally delicious and full of flavor. The sweet potato noodle of this dish was different, but still pretty tastey. I recommend leaving this for the experienced eaters. Lastly, we tried the kimbap. It was a typical kimbap, nothing stood out. Everything came out fresh, cooked to order, and hot. The price for everything was very reasonable. I would dent come again.

Last night was our first time back since they relocated to VIB from their old food truck location…read more I ordered the drunken noodles with grilled tofu, which I don't think I'd tried before. Wow, best meal I've had out in a while. The lowest heat option had just a little burn but not lingering, sauce was flavorful and umami without being too salty or overpowering the other flavors, noodles well cooked (al dente), tofu was firm with a nice chargrilled flavor (you could tell it was actually grilled), and there were some nice fresh additions like broccoli florets, shredded carrots, cilantro (and maybe mint?), plus lime slices. The single portion was huge, enough for two meals easily, and a steal at less than 10 bucks. My husband got a (huge!) burrito with chicken, mojo sauce, and fresh guacamole and enjoyed his as well. They have local beers and kombucha on tap, and some nice looking homemade desserts. Atmosphere was pleasant, modern hotel lobby, quiet, with nice large windows. The lady at the counter was very friendly and smiling the whole time she interacted with us. Food came out fast but it was clear they cooked it to order. Eating my leftover noodles for lunch and they're still on point next day and after being nuked XD All around great experience. We'll be back!

They must have made mine with the heat, because it was so spicy that my eyes and nose ran. They just threw some shredded chicken on top that was seasoned to be taco meat... not kidding, it tasted like chili powder, cumin and crushed red pepper. So I had spicy chicken taco meat on top of super hot Asian-flavored noodles. (The flavor of the noodles was great, without the spice and taco seasoning, hence the second star). The Thai basil chicken was bland, flavorless, and dry. Felt like the chicken had been fried awhile go, then reheated. There was about one basil leaf shredded on top. I had to give my spicy taco chicken to my husband who at it with the plain rice, while I ate his "basil" chicken with my noodles. The presentation was beautiful, though (pic taken after I stirred up the noodles). Both plates looked amazing, but the flavors didn't live up to their looks. Needless to say we won't be returning.

I tried calling them numerous times but their phone kept coming up with a recording saying it was busy. My kids were starving so we had to go through the bag and clean as much as we could. When I finally got ahold of someone about an hour later she talked to the owner and he offered 2 free crab rangoon. I told her that since part of our food was inedible I didn't think that was fair. I asked to speak with the owner. She told me he was busy and then hung up on me. I tried calling back numerous times and never got an answer. I am not only disappointed at the condition the food was in when it got to us but also how they handled the problem. The food is good but not good enough to be treated that way. Shame on you, Panda Inn. **Update!** A few days after this incident I went and personally spoke with the owner. I explained to him what had happened so I was upset at how I was being treated afterward. After I had the chance to explain everything to him he was very apologetic. He told me that he felt badly because the delivery guy lied to him and told him I must have made up a story. When I showed him the pictures he was very upset. he ended up giving me a big hug everything is too good. I believe he got rid of the delivery driver. The owner is very sweet when you have the chance and talk with him. Appreciated him taking the time to understand my situation and he appreciated me giving him the facts. their food has always been fantastic and this was the first incident I had ever had. Very happy to have fixed the problem and get back to ordering the great food!
