We've never had anything bad here. Everything I've tried is so good! Giant breakfast burritos, good chicken and waffles, great focaccia bread. Get there early -- they fill up fast and the wait goes upwards of 2 hours. read more

Wow! The menu is just a little overwhelming BUT that's only because everything sounds amazing! Not only does it sound amazing, it tastes amazing too! The "I don't eat hash browns but when I do" is like a taste of heaven. I had the sweet avo burrito this morning and loved it! Just had to add a little of their salsa to it. My daughter always enjoys eating here and we almost always have great service. I wish we would've gotten the gals name who waited on us today - she had some blue in her hair - she was the best. Went there today with my mom for breakfast. Oh my goodness. I ordered the wolf pack breakfast special which was the empanadas. This was the best thing I have ever had. It was so good that I have already told friends and family to go there for this dish. This really needs to be a permanent item on the menu. I would order this every time. Also the pancakes are amazing. I actually think that you should have some sort of pancake challenge. Maybe have like a prize where the leader at the end of the month gets to have a free breakfast or lunch the next month. I will be back but please keep the empanadas on the menu. Overpriced, overhyped, and lukewarm food. It was an interesting and unique place but been there, done that now. I've been to much better places for breakfast, for less money. Wait staff was friendly, but far too busy to really give proper attention to their many tables. The women's bathroom was filthy, with black mold under the rims of the wash basins. Waited 45 minutes on a late Saturday morning to be seated. Empty tables every where but no one to clean them. Finally found a seat at the bar. Waited another 15 minutes for food. Ordered Meg Ryan with French toast. Eggs were over cooked, bacon not crispy instead salty and greasy. French toast was very good. WOW, I was completely underwhelmed by the breakfast tacos. The chorizo taco was flavorful & fresh but dry. The pork belly taco was all pork fat & shouldn't have been served to anyone or thier pets! What goes through the cooks mind when they put crap like that out there? Oh, right, nothing obviously. Amazed that most people think the food here is good. The Shack is always always always my go to breakfast/brunch spot. The boozy shakes are great (get the one with Cocoa Puffs) and whenever I'm having trouble picking between two dishes (or more) the waitstaff are so nice and patient and helpful. The s'mores Belgian waffle is amazing and too big for me to finish but I never mind can't wait to go back. Plus the online waitlist is super helpful!! Sundays can be a pretty long wait and in the 10 mins we had to wait we played cornhole out front! Love that we can play games and don't have to die of boredom like at other restaurants. read more

Best breakfast/brunch we gave had in a long time. We had a group of 9 and everyone was very happy with their meals. Such a popular place has a long wait, but the call ahead seating on Yelp was great, including being able to see the entire wait list and having an "arrive by" time. I was soooo looking forward to this restaurant, but came away disappointed. We were seated right away, but our waiter took awhile to arrive & eventually we asked someone else to fetch him. I ordered French toast & my hubs ordered the reason the French hate us. The French dish was good & the hash browns very tasty. The French toast had a weird twang to it. The waiter noticed I wasn't eating it & offered something else. I ordered a pancake. It was "fine," but slightly gummy & nothing to write home about. I wish I had chosen savory dishes, but I would expect a place that specializes in breakfast to have good griddle options. Also, we didn't like the coffee that much. Again, it was "fine." Heard all the hype about the shack. We attempted to visit multiple times but with 1.5+ hr wait times we were turned off at the idea of waiting for breakfast food. Finally had the chance to go, less than impressed. Serving size on the breakfast burrito was insignificant for the price and it was essentially all eggs and soft potato's. The food lacked flavor, the chorizo was awful and dry. Tortilla size was too much, it took away from the dish. For all the hype I was just not impressed. read more

They served the best coffee. The food was disgusting but the coffee was a different level. If you go there for coffee your going to get the best drink ever. My food I guess was rotten?
