If you want a fun and filling breakfast in St. Louis, Shack Breakfast & Lunch is the perfect spot. The menu is huge(maybe too huge??) with creative twists on everyone's classic breakfast favorites, the portions are huge, and the vibe is casual and lively. It's the kind of place where everything from pancakes to breakfast burritos hits the spot. Everyone in your group will find something they love on the menu, the service is always quick for how crowded it always seems to be, and you don't wait around for too long for much of anything here!

The Shack is never a disappointment! The food is always amazing, the service from the staff is impeccable, the establishment is always clean, and very reasonably priced for the amount of food you receive.

I simply love The Shack. I feel like I frequently visit this location and it always delivers. The Christmas decorations are awesome right now too! Great food and great service whether it's slow or busy. I also just really love their house coffee. I usually get the French toast but I ordered the turkey avocado wrap on bread and it was tasty. My brother's girlfriend ordered it as a wrap and also really enjoyed it. My mom was also very impressed by the pancake, they are massive.

This has been our preferred breakfast spot lately. I love the big booths and gluten free menu. I had the gf blueberry pancakes and my dining companion had the big platte. Definitely dod not leave hungry! Hostess and server were pleasant and attentive. We enjoyed our meals.

Food was pretty good to say the least: the notorious BNG was a pretty basic breakfast, it had great set up and overall good flavor but the gravy needs more seasoning, the eggs were overcooked, and the sausage was really watery. The make a grown man cry burrito was really good and had the perfect ratio of filling and the French toast stix were good as well. I also liked the water carafe good touch but needs ice. food came out fast, waitress was pretty slow with the check but overall she did her job and checked up on us. The ambiance was cute and very family friendly, I liked the different choice in style however the bathroom was out of TP and some of the stuff written on the walls in our booth has some nasty words and symbols.

We absolutely love this brunch restaurant! The food is delicious and the menu is so fun (creative names for each dish). Our waitress was a bit slow with our service, but overall was okay. We had good service and love joining the waitlist so we can get seated shortly after we arrive.

Second time in. The food is good, although the gringo killer skillet I had was a little heavy on the salt. The eggs were cooked perfectly over easy. Kids got some waffles and finished they were so good. Noise level is high and the service was fast.

We used the website to get on the wait it so when we arrived we only waited a couple minutes. We had mimosas and breakfast! It was a very nice experience. The mimosas were delish, I had a pineapple one and my husband had orange juice. And the food and service were excellent.

super good food and good service! went on valentine's day and they were super busy, but we got seated super fast. there is tons of seating! the menu is ginormous! i got the french sticks and a side of bacon. pretty big portions (i had leftovers) and reasonably priced! the only thing i will say is the aesthetic isn't the best. they have intentional handwriting all over the walls

Very cute place! Clean and neat areas to eat and drink. Our server was super nice and the food came out quickly. They even made me a drink that wasn't on the menu which I greatly appreciated. Definitely recommend checking this out.

Very good breakfast! A fresh, fluffy, hot biscuit and everything was delicious and fast! Our waitress was kind and smiled!! Busy place but they were keeping up with the crowd!

It ain't cheap but they have a really nice breakfast menu. The chicken fried steak is delicious and it's pretty big. The pancakes are huge and bigger than your head, plus you can feel like the king or queen you are by grabbing a paper crown before you're seated a definite must for me much to my wife's chagrin. There's almost always a wait so check in online to shorten your wait. Enjoy!

Love this place. Heuvos rancheros and bloody Mary's are kick ass. Just know it's going to be packed on holidays. It's always busy.

I wish I could give them 6 stars…read more Everything, and I mean everything, was completely dialed-in. From the reservation, to the hostess greeting us and helping us even though we arrived an hour early, to the desserts. The server was knowledgeable and helpful in choosing our food and drinks. It's a small menu, but clearly that allows and incredible focus on the quality and the details. I cannot imagine being unhappy with anything listed. This, for us is a special occasion place, simply because of the prices, but WORTH IT.

It was decently busy for a Wednesday night but there was plenty of bar seating. The decor is beautiful and I especially appreciated their carefully curated glass and tableware--all stunning. Our bartender, whose name I fail to remember, was excellent. She had great beer recommendations. We tried the Hefe Weissbier (my favorite, which paired perfectly with both appetizers), the Meteor Pils, and the Gaffel Kolsch. I'd recommend all of them if you're a beer drinker! The spinach dumplings are a must. They are bursting with spinach flavor and swimming in a rich brown butter sauce. We also tried the alpine dip, which comes with an enormous soft pretzel. It was okay, but the dip wasn't exactly what we were expecting. I'd probably pass on the alpine dip next time. Overall an amazing experience and I look forward to enjoying a full meal there next visit. Be advised that they pride themselves on seasonal menus so if you're eyeing a menu item, get yourself there to try it before it's gone!

When you walk in there's a bar in the center of the room and seating along the walls/area. They have draft beers, specialty cocktails, and a full bar so there's something for everyone. They have daily specials and a straightforward menu. My only complaint would be wanting a larger variety of Irish foods but I understand for a bar you want to have a smaller menu that you do well. Reading as always is fundamental. There are numerous signs but I'm also reiterating kids are not allowed past a certain hour so if you're trying to come with kids PLEASE plan accordingly. We've had the Reuben eggrolls, corned beef burger, cheeseburger, pretzels, turkey sandwich, and the pretzels for dessert. I absolutely recommend the Reuben eggrolls, corned beef sandwich, beer cheese, and the cinnamon sugar pretzels with blueberry cheesecake dip. I don't know who or how that dessert was made up, I never thought I'd like it, but I'm actually obsessed with it. I will continue to be back to try more foods
