Let me say I love is he wings here. By far the best in town. But the service is terrible. You can sit where ever you want so the waitress will get overloaded. We arrived on a Thursday at 6pm. We ordered the buffalo chicken dip for an appetizer and it was really greasy and runny. Not like a dip should be. My husband ordered boneless wings which were dry and like rubber, but he said the sauce was good. He also ordered fries and they were cold upon delivery. I ordered the cheesy pig. The mac & cheese part was good but the pork was hard and extremely over cooked. I would not eat here again. The service is terrible and a lot of standing around for their staff. We tried Shade for the first time yesterday and concluded that it is a great find. We had a barbecue pizza, a hamburger w/fries and a jalapeño popper appetizer. We feel every item ordered was better then average. The pizza was truly different but in a good way. You have to love barbecue to really like this one. We do! The burger was large (and we got the smaller one) and was very tasty - and on a nice soft fresh bun! The hand cut fries were great! The jalapeño poppers? We LOVED the poppers! How do we rate Shade: the food gets a solid 5. The poppers a 5++. The facility was clean and comfortable and gets a 4. The waitress gets a solid 5. The manager checked on us, and he gets a 5. The value was very fair and gets a 5. They have Coke products, which means they don't offer a diet clear soda which I drink, so I had to drink water (our only negative). Will we be returning to the Shade restaurant? Darn right we will, as soon as we can for a serving of those jalapeño poppers! read more

The only reason this place doesn't get 5 stars is because of the atmosphere and weak beer selection. The food on the otherhand is literally outstanding. Only problem? Too much of a selection! I have tried 5 or 6 different items (including their wings) and all were cooked to perfection and delicious. Try the mac and cheese and chernoble sauce on your wings. Don't forget dessert! I would not recommend this place to anyone with digestive problems. The floor is super greasy and you leave smelling like grease. The pizzokies are the only reason I went back. When I got here there were four people standing around hostess desk chatting. Told me to seat myself. Sat in a booth for 15 minutes and our waitress just kept walking by us never even acknowledged we were there. Needless to say I got up to leave at that point. As we were leaving we were walking out the front door and our waitress was standing playing with straws chatting with the hostess. My husband and I decided to try Shade for dinner. It wasn't very impressive. We waited over 10 minutes after seating ourselves before anyone acknowledged us and got our drink order. They we're very busy. We ordered nachos for an appetizer. It was a good portion and pretty tasty. I ordered the Reuben, which was ok. Husband ordered a fish sandwich, which was over cooked. He only ate half of it. We finished our beers and left. It reminded us of a knock off Roosters restaurant, except Roosters is way better. Beer was cold, appetizer was good so we'd probably go back to watch a game, but not for a dinner. read more

Food is great. I have brought my in-laws from out of town here and they love it too. Good wings (all of the food is good). Sauces are great. We've had the hot, medium, Honey BBQ, and hoppin. Service was horrible. The service has always been slow..i don't know if they don't have enough help or if they just don't move fast but it has never been as bad as it was today. We go because it is has a lot of decent options on the menu. Went to lunch with my husband. He ordered boneless wings. When the waitress finally brought the food she proceeded to drop part of the wings and ranch dressing on my husband. No apologies ..no can I get you a towel. She just walked away and said I suppose you want another order... A half hour later another waitress comes by and we explain what happened because that waitress disappeared and she said she would make the order to go since we had already been there awhile..once again no apology- no asking if we still wanted the order just assumed. She brings the order and it of course has no ranch but I just ask for the bill. It takes her 20 more minutes and several rotations around the floor to get me the bill which is of course wrong..it had items on there we did not receive. 20 more minutes for it to be corrected and still no apology. And yes we had to pay for the wings. 90 minutes after lunch started we left. We will never go back..an apology could have saved several customers. read more

We really love this place! Their buffalo chicken dip is awesome! So are the boneless wings(our favorites are Parmesan garlic and island) and the Le Cafe Chicken salad is delicious too. We walked in the door was created by the bartender and some drinks at the bar who was right off the bat was bat was very rude! Then we got seated, had a very nice waitress who said she's only been there a week or so. Ordered our food waited 25 minutes even through the place was not busy at all! Was ridiculous how long we wait and the food came out awful. My husband and friends got wings and they were gross the worst wings I have even seen and tasted!! No flavor and was soaking in a grease bath. I had gotten the sour cream fries they were ok but not cooked all the way and I also got the pizza quesadilla which was just tortilla and four pieces of pepp and cheese Barely, had any fillings and was dripping in grease. Our bill came out to 35 bucks the food was not worth that!! The only good and positive thing about visiting this restaurant was the waitress!
